  1. I believe the Mt3 has a knurled end while the evod is smooth The evod is 64mm long The MT3 is 72mm long
  2. Should be ok. But juices can vary in the way they wick. You're gonna have to experiment and develop the feel, haha
  3. Chain vaping is hitting it, exhaling, hitting again, exhaling, hitting again etc... As long as you're giving it 10. - 20 seconds between hits you're giving it enough time to recover
  4. Ego case in my carry-on thru the machine. No questions, no probs
  5. 70/30 may be pushing it. It depends on your vaping habits too. Slower juices need a little more wicking time. I use a lot of 65/35 with success bit I'm not a chain vaper either.
  6. I believe even though they look similar, the MT3 is slightly larger tank and does use different coils. They look similar in pictures but I believe the stem is thicker on the MT3. Others can verify. I think the MT3 has a 2.5 ml capacity in liquid and the evod is like 1.8. I prob shouldnt be guessing but that is a clue to which one you have
  7. The bottom coil of the evod is superior to the CE5. No doubt. The replacement coils are about $1.25 - you will go through a lot of these. Get an extra pack in 1.8 ohm Later you can get a higher performing battery like the vision spinner. Then, while you are comfortably vaping away, you can read up on all the various tanks and juices and really have some fun exploring but you will be satisfied with your initial choice.
  8. They increase the flavoring in the juice, the percentage of flavoring added in. NOT always a good idea. Especially if you don't know the vendor. More flavor is not always better. Can make a very chemical or perfume taste. I have heard people recommend seattlevapor company for juice. But starting out it is best in my opinion to be able to go to a store and try out flavors.
  9. What is the mA output of the charger? Does it match the recommended mA of your battery? Edit: ok just looked it up and you should be ok.
  10. I would order the Kanger evod kit avail right here at the VT store. Replacement coils much cheaper, bottom coil, and better performance. Your kit is not bad but you could do a little better. Recommend liquids from vape dudes starting out. There are plenty of vapor vendors in Seattle. Try to find one where you can try various juices and devices.
  11. Charging your phone with the same charger??
  12. I will say that my wife recently had a couple of tanks leak on her on a flights to and from Pennsylvania so be prepared with baggies or whatever for that. I've never had a problem with partly used juice bottles. I went through one time and they didn't raise an eyebrow to all my ecig gear but made me throw out a small bottle of water. Go figure.
  13. There are a couple recent threads devoted to this. Search Vaping on a plane and Vaping on plane revisited I think. Fairly current. Never had a problem with 10 and 15ml juice bottles and batteries and tanks in a small kit on my carry-on. I've even discreetly vaped 80/20 in my seat or used the restroom. Just don't flaunt it.
  14. If you do a search on this site you will see posts of people's experience with them
  15. Okay. Let's back up What voltage do you have it set to? When you press the power button to vape what color does it show? Or, what color does the battery indicator show?
  16. If it is a true PVD coating you may have a devil of a time. True PVD bonds with the substrate so etching usually destroys or mars the substrate. You could try a product "Stripol". But might have to watch it pretty closely..... Tough one...
  17. No, I totally understand. Just keep at it and you will conquer it.
  18. Ok fifty is not bad The stem is the vertical piece that the rubber gasket is around, Remove the rubber gasket. You will see that the stem is press fit into the coil body. Rock the stem off the coil body. This exposes the actual coil and you will see the wicks. Sometimes you end to screw the coil in to the base to remove the stem to get a better hold on it. You can add a small piece of cotton over the top of the coil then press fit the stem back on. Add your rubber seal and give it a shot. If you put too much you can stop the flow so you'll just have to play with it. By the way, this is how I dry burn the coil when it's really gunked up. Remove the stem, set coil up on base and burn it dry
  19. Are you using a thin juice? 60pg or higher? That could be contributing too.... Edited to change to pg
  20. Yeah that's a dual coil. Ummm.... Well, like I said you could add cotton because it sounds like the flow is too fast if it's just leaking on its own. I mean, as the coil gets some use it's going to slow up naturally anyway. Dry it all up, reassemble and blow gently thru the tank a few times. Dab up any juice. Dry your 510 connection. Then assemble and vape well on it. The leaking should diminish.
  21. Check that the stem on the coil is firmly pressed in to the coil body. It's just a press fit over the top of the actual coil itself. You could pull the stem and try adding another flavor wick over the top of the coil or a small piece of cotton. Yeah, take a pic
  22. Interesting. Are these dual coils? Or single?
