I also loved OrangeZilla as my favorite Fuzion flavor but then I found Time Bomb's "Julius" which was just slightly different and you know how juice is....it's ENTIRELY subjective ...... Fuzion just got inched out.....

I'm curious about the availability of the coils, price of coils, bulk buy prices. Also have you taken one apart yet? Is rebuilding them even an option?

Vaping "as a last resort...." lol. They're only saying that as there is no profit in it for them.....yet. they'll be singing a different tune once regulation goes full effect, taxes come in and their hand is in the pie...

New to vaping, Questions about my Halo Triton

Okay.... You may not like this but.... I would keep the batteries and chuck the tanks (and coils) If you're on a budget replace the tanks with Kanger Evods ($4 ea) get evod or protank single coils ($5/5pack) They're bottom feed and they dont burn out as quickly (you only have to replace the coils). $$ not an issue??? Move up to the following tanks: Kanger protank 2 mini Kanger Aerotank Aspire mini davide Premium performance??? Aspire Nautilus or mini Nautilus Joyetech -

Post a pic of it -
Well I wouldn't put too much stock in the FDA lab, lol. We've all been vaping flavors made in the basement and mixed in old ketchup bottles for years... :-) And the FDA doesn't exactly have a great track record ......

Vaping at High Ohms with high Amperage batteries.
Bebop replied to Tylor.hansen's topic in New Vapers Forum
Amps = Volts/Ohms Therefore 4.2 volts delivered to a 2.5ohm coil draws a current of less than 2amps. You are "asking" the battery to provide 2 amps of current. Your 10amp battery says "no prob". Your 30amp battery "yawns". A 30amp battery on a 2.5 ohm coil is a little bit like a 500hp 5.0 mustang doing 25 in a school zone. -
Atomizer does not need to be broken in. This looks like an basic 650 ego battery and evod clone tank. Your atomizer should last a week or so then it will start tasting burnt and you'll have to change it. The harshness could be coming from the juice itself. Do you know the juice you are using? Vaporzone coils list at $14.95 / 5 pack. You can do better than that as they look like protank single coils which go for about $6 / 5 pack. Welcome to your journey of quiting the stinkies! Stick around and you can get info on upgrading your set up and better deals. Good luck!

Stealth vape: smaller battery with tank set up with 70/30 or higher pg/vg juice to reduce fog but still deliver the nic.
-
Take smaller hits? Rebuild your coil? Change your juice? Carry a back up stealth vape set up?
-
Where did you find them?
-
Atomizers have a short life in general. Vaping habits, type of juice, and build quality all can vary to affect that life. You get what you pay for. Avoid cheap no name stuff. Dual coils tend to last longer.
-
The Nautilus has ruined me. I now have a boneyard of tanks collecting dust..... I still use my mini protanks and davides. The advantage is coils are cheap and they are easy to rebuild and produce better than average flavor and vapor.
-
I started out with iclear 16 tanks. It's a very decent tank that performs well. The next step is to go with a bottom coil glass tank. You start getting in to some $$ here but you get what you pay for. If you go dual coils it's another step up but the coils start getting pricey. Any of the following tanks would be a step up: Evod2 glassi Kanger Protank 2 or mini protank Aspire Davide or mini Davide Kanger Aerotank Aspire Nautilus or mini Nautilus Kanger Protank 3 There are others but that's a good place to start.

Half the fun (and all of the expense!) is finding your juice. .....I think I'll have a T-shirt made up......"Find Your Juice!"

3.8 is about right. If your coil resistance is higher than 2.0 then you could go a little higher. The resistance is stamped on the coil itself. Usually they tell you in the starter kits what the resistance is. When you go to purchase new coils you will probably enjoy right around 1.8 ohms at about 3.8v But Joe's right. Just dial it in. There are enough inconsistencies with coils and even with use resistance varies. Also, different juices will take different power levels. That's the beauty of VV, just dial it in.

Strange behavior from Lambo 4.0 Mod
Bebop replied to atotheroh's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
If you insist on running the device at 4.8v then you should increase the resistance of the carto to 2.5. Lowering your voltage to 4.2 should put you right in the sweet spot with your 2.0 carto. Either way it should improve battery life. You've been driving with your foot to the floor and wondering why your gas mileage is bad. It doesn't explain the sudden change though. What doesn't make sense is if you are truly getting premature shortened battery life then that power has to be going somewhere but it doesn't seem like it's getting to the coil since you don't describe any change in the vape. It's puzzling. You should also be getting premature carto failure. How long does a carto last you? -
You have to post 3 or 4 times in new mwmbers before you can make a post. After that you should be good to go. With the SVD you can either set the Voltage (voltage mode) or wattage (power mode). Starting out you will use voltage mode. Raise or lower the voltage according to your taste. Usually work it up until you start getting a burnt flavor then back it down until it's normal to find your spot. This setting will vary depending on the resistance of your coil. The power mode allows you to set the power or wattage and it will remain consistent between different tanks with different resistances but that's probably a bit beyond what you are starting out with so don't use it for now until you dial in your existing tank. You don't state what tanks you are using so I'm assuming you're still using the CE tanks that came with your kit

It gets easier. Hang in there. Lots of good advice here especially on the newer things available but you may have to read older things to get a basic understanding first.

Your coil looks swamped. Too much wick. IMO

Strange behavior from Lambo 4.0 Mod
Bebop replied to atotheroh's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
I agree. 4.8 v constant with only 1600mah is not going to last long. You are also in a high wattage band for that carto. I'm surprised you are not complaining of burnt hits all the time. Your device may be reacting to the high power band as well. -
Flavoring can have color too.
