There is a frustrating issue with the spinner II on charging. Sometimes the charging cycle gets interrupted. The solution is to check the battery after its been on the charger for about 10 mins, remove it and then reattach it to the charger and it will resume charging. Juice varies greatly in effect. A full charge is key. Aftrr that its having a working atomizrr and good juice.

Me too. +1 on advice.

You know what? My wife got them (sweet Vapes?) and she threw the packaging away. It's not marked so I am assuming its a generic Chinese made unit. But the plot thickens...... My spinner II charges straight through......sometimes........on it.

Haha! The little differences in all this stuff can be annoying. All I know is when I take it off, it Vapes !
-
You know, I've never noticed exactly but I want to say an hour or so?

Morning Tam! I got a newer charger recently. If you miss the green it shuts down after a number of hours and shows red. Weird huh?
-
Prob done. Some chargers turn off (turn red) after charging complete to prevent overcharging

I'm just gonna jump in here because its an interesting discussion anyway..... Of note - it's usually the guys pushing the envelope in any endeavor that end up innovating the subject and bring better progress to the greater scene. It's true in just about any field. Much of what us casual vapers enjoy on a daily basis was spawned by guys sweating in the workshop looking for new and better... so I don't think it's completely healthy to squelch that kind of activity in general. There will always be idiots and we will suffer set backs from them for sure. Responsibility is still key and maybe our responsibility lies in continuing to inform those who will not be informed no matter, that tje benefits of vaping still far outweigh any destruction caused by the not-so-bright.

You're welcome! I burned one up too...it was THAT good..... fine, if you can afford it but I've learned to stretch 'em out a bit.

4.5v at 1.8 is close to 11.5 watts which is way high and if it was the 1.6 ohm would be higher than that.... You really dont want to push much more than 8 watts or about 3.8 volts for best coil life.
-
At 4.5v my guess is you burned it up a little prematurely. 1.6ohm coil? A new coil can always take a bit more voltage but long term that's pushing it in my opinion. Other factors may include the type of juice you are using. Some juices are harder on coils than others. That, and you prob were diggin it so much you chain vaped it up.

Its a disposable. It will work normally for a week or two and then it will start tasting burnt and lack flavor. Your only option is to biy another one (just the clearomizer - the whole part that attaches to your battery). You may have some luck washing it out and letting it dry fully but it won't prolong its life very much. I would start saving for a few tanks with a replaceable atomizer. That's your next step.

Earthling gave you sound advice.

This looks like a clone of the "Liqua" brand. It's probably imported. It's probably safe. "Probably" is the best anyone can claim. And in my opinion regulation is no guarantee of jack $h*t. Regulation will happen but you are still subject to fraud, ill will, human error etc as minute as those incidents will be. The world runs on the good graces of well meaning people - always has, always will.
-
Of course you can. I just bought 2 of them. One for the nephew and one for.........me!

Bravo!

Hi Shawn. Congratulations on getting a new life. There's tons of info posted here you'll find helpful. Take your time and read up - it might seem confusing at first- but keep reading and learning. There are lots of devices and combinations of gear. Lots of photos of different gear. Enjoy, and welcome to VT.
