Lol Yes Patricia. I believe the Nautilus to be superior to the KPT 2 however, I still use my KPT because I rebuild all of my KPT coils now and they are better than stock and deliver a really great vape. (I put my favorite juices in the Nautilus)

Bebop replied to thylight's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
I haven't bought Vapedudes for a while but I believe they have a "naturals" section as well. -

@BDM - no, that's good information to have. It's important that people understand that many of the problems they have with gear might come from clones they think are real.

Welcome Alaska. Good to have you guys a part of the community. Congratulations on your successes.

Its a chemical addiction. The body is craving all the goodies it was used to getting. There may be psychological factors as well but you gotta give the physical addiction time to pass. (Detox)

One dramatic accident like in Texas but with injury is all it will take and we're done with vaping as we know it. We are riding a thin line. I might even go so far as to say it will happen (as a matter of statistics). I hope it doesn't. I honestly do. Frankly, I don't even understand what's so fun about it. I don't get the attraction. :/

Vaping to quit or Vaping to substitute
Bebop replied to bcartervol98's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
I read my post from may 2013 - lol. Seems like a life time ago. Well here I am today mostly doing 3mg. I still keep a 6mg around here somewhere. These days I buy all my juices in 6 and 0 and mix to make 3. Going pretty well. I can say there was a time when nothing below 24 would do it. Now, my tolerance is low and 6 kicks my butt, lol. But I'm happy about it. -
Once you go nautilus you never go back! Just kidding......kind of.

Persistent nasty vapor even after cleaning and changing coils
Bebop replied to aerokinetic's topic in New Vapers Forum
You don't say whether this problem persists with a brand new coil. Dry burning can prolong a coils life but I find can only be done 1 or 2 times (if you are not changing the wick). There is a permanent "off" taste I wouldn't call a burning taste but just a bad aftertaste. Eventually you have to rebuild or replace the coil. -
1.5 - 1.8 puts you at the top of the power band with 3.7v. That means most efficient vape - high power without burning or prematurely frying your coil. (1.5 ohm gives slightly higher power) Hope that helps

What tank/Clearomizer are you using?

Do a search in e-liquids sub forum for "coffee". We coffee lovers love to talk about it. Lots of good advice in those threads and they're not too old.

Two things - you were a smoker. You've been tasting "burnt" for a while. Cigarettes didn't taste "burnt" to me either. But cigarettes def burn. Vaping is completely different. There is no burning at ALL - unless you burn up the coil. I dont mean to be contradictory for sake of argument. I believe you. I am just suggesting that you look at this like a vaper, with fresh eyes. My wife went thru the same thing when we first started. She would walk by me and I'd say "your coil's burnt" and she would be puzzled "really??". I'd take it apart and show her the little charred black coil, lol. Im just trying to illustrate a point that its not always easy to perceive "burnt". And... I have a theory that a burnt coil can still produce enough power to vaporize liquid and produce vapor but it is also adding burnt byproducts to that vapor that mask the flavor. The flavorings used in e-liquid when super heated leave deposits on the wick and coil which break down chemically and eventually burn when you fire a coil. This is why a coil lasts for only so long before you have to replace it. I've done experiments that show its not the wick itself burning. Take an old coil apart sometime and you'll see what I'm talking about. There is crusty black char built up on the coil that flakes off. I suspect it's the sugar components of the juice that are the big offenders. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the crazy world of detox. Rough day, I know. Keep it going. Things will settle down..

1. Running a spinner at full voltage will cause premature coil burnout. It will also drain your battery fast. There is no way you could get 2 weeks out of a coil running it that hot. The "throat hit" you are going after May just be the burning out of that coil and wick. You think you are getting a throat hit ad you're probably just inhaling the burnt by products from your coil and juice fried up. 2. Running at full voltage and you are going to experience voltage drop after you burn that battery for a short while. Technically it shouldn't drop voltage but practically speaking, you are going to get voltage drop and then you are going to loose performance of the coil. Especially if you've been burning that coil at 4.8v. Deposits from the juice will build up on that coil fast and then you will get a real dull hit from it. My advice - ease back there big fella. Run that spinner between 3.7 and 4.0 and then find the juice that gives you the nic and throat hit you like at that power. In my opinion you are over cooking your juice and mistaking that for a good vape. If that doesn't work for you, you may be a candidate for building your own coils and exploring the next level of vaping - mods.

I think MARTEN COOK fell off the planet.

What are you a setting the Spinner II at? What voltage? ( and I don't know where you got the idea you have to take it off the charger every 30mins. Not necessary...)

Highbrow's orange de Sangre (blood orange) is also a very natural citrus orange and no candy like flavor.

Awesome! Welcome. Once you completely drop the cigs you will never regret it! Smart cookie, your daughter. She loves her mom!

Winter? What's that?!??

Just want to clarify. I believe your battery is fine and the charging cycle was just interrupted and therefore never charged. Many of us have this issue with the spinner II
