  1. I'll be dadgummed. I just blew out the holes in a pro tank. Instant improvement! Different juice in this one so tough to compare, but no question, improved airflow = improved taste. How did I miss something so obvious? Smh Ok, I'm off to fine tune this. This is good. Thanks guys. I guess they just got it right with the Davide. It definitely is a superior tank
  2. Hmmmm......airflow.... Ok lemme check this out........
  3. I have been puzzled by this phenomenon for a LONG time. And I don't like unsolved problems. I'm like a Terrier. I will persist until I get to the bottom of things..... My mini Davide, evod tank, and mini protank all take the exact same coils. The single coil protank coil. I use the same battery on all of them. 90% of the time its a vision spinner set at a consistent voltage. I rebuild my protank coils the same way every time, the same resistance, same wick. They are for all practical reasons identical. Yet.... The exact same juice from the exact same bottle tastes different in each tank. I get the same amount of vapor. I apply the same technique to each one. Mini Davide- hands down, no question, no doubt, gives GREAT flavor and vapor way above the evod and mini protank. It's glass Mini protank - same vapor production and good flavor but doesn't match the Davide. It's glass. Evod - good vapor production matching the others but flavor is another notch down. Not bad by any means but muted flavor when compared to other two. This tank is plastic. I cannot explain the difference. It's not even close. It is readily and easily discerned. You dont even have to think about it. What explains this difference? It is really perplexing. What other factors could be involved?
  4. Roughly 15ml......I know, lightweight, lol. I only vape as a substitute for smoking and I don't vape for the sake of vaping so that's enough for me.
  5. I would appreciate your answer after you find out. You know, sometimes someone asks a question that no one knows the answer to. Don't think because you didn't get a response in 24 hrs that no one cares. It's usually just a longer delay because because the question is so specialized. Good luck and post what you find please.
  6. Yeah. Forgot to mention the Spinner I is also a good deal usually but I dont know where to find it right now.
  7. If you don't want to spend the $27 here at VT for a genuine spinner then I would go for the EVOD comp suggested or the ego t as Earthling said. You're not gonna find a better deal for a genuine spinner. Your gonna haft a suffer thru the online juice thing like the rest of us unfortunately. Truer words were never spoken as "taste is highly subjective". Even among the recommended juice makers there is dissension because of personal preferences. You can save yourself a lot of grief by sticking to recommended juice suppliers but it's still up to you. Personally I would stay away from overly cheap juice.
  8. It's important you identify WHERE it's leaking. Is it an outside seal leaking around the tank or is it leaking thru to the battery?
  9. And that's my only complaint about the full sized nautilus. It gets old, fast. I am a bonafide tank switcher outer. I happily switch out flavors one after another.
  10. Welcome Francis.....er.....Psycho!
  11. It's the positive pole or contact. It may have a slang term but I haven't heard it yet
  12. All together now......... spinner 2!!!! You get what you pay for.....
  13. Yeah I'm babying my mini Ds too. I only bought 5 and I have another 5 pro tanks. They've been serving me well. The reason I didn't buy too many of them was I pretty much decided something newerer would come out eventually anyway......which it did but all the newerer stuff uses dual coils....not so easy to rebuild.... It's ok though. I think I can live with 2 ml tanks...
  14. Yeah discount vapor shows that the base is 2 parts and if you want to use kpt singles you remove one of the parts.
  15. Oh that's interesting. I have to double check because I thought there was a way to adapt the new ones to a kpt single coil....hmmmmm
  16. Carter I know you mentioned that you didn't like the new mini Davide tanks. What are the downsides? Anybody else use them and have any comments? Im getting ready to buy new tanks for the wife. She doesn't like the mini Nautilus and I'd like to keep it in the protank family. She still loves the old T2s (bless her heart) but they are disappearing.
  17. Yeah, I'll let you know. I've got a bug to buy something new. One of my original spinners just died and I'm looking to keep my backups backed up!
  18. Glad to hear you're still hangin' Troy. Hope you have a great time and successful event!
  19. And you can still find the original 1300mah spinners for around $20 which are awesome as well.... Lately I'm intrigued by the new Tesla 2000mah twist. It's about 20% fatter than a Spinner II and a few millimeters longer .........but bigger is better, right?
  20. I'm touched, Army Dad. What a great way to start the day.....
  21. Well, that's comforting. The katana has a legendary sharp edge.....
  22. I do this too, although, I never max out my voltage and rarely go above 4.2. But I find a fresh coil puts out a lot of flavor and cloudage at minimum settings at first (I use 1.4 -1.6 ohm mostly in mini KPTs and mini Davides) and then as the coil ages I gradually increase the voltage. The same is roughly true with the nautilus - I start low and work my voltage up as the coil ages. Seems to work for me.
  23. Right.... But I think it's a *shudder* guillotine........or at least a sword...
