  1. I'm not a fan of the link you put up, copper. It's a little confusing and primarily deal with lap top and cell phone batteries. Nog only that but it is old and not clear if it's been edited and kept up to date. This technology changes pretty rapidly. Also there are a few classes of lithium ion batteries and so information may not apply to all types. There is a newer link to batteries more relevant to vaping. I'll see if I can dig it up. In general our batteries have a "cycle life". They don't last forever. They are prone to heat deterioration so keep them cool. Under moderate conditions the discharge rate in storage is quite low - as I recall, a few percent per month but again that can be reduced by heat. Generally speaking you can't wear them out from non use or over use. You should get 300+ charging cycles out of a battery. Quality of the original battery can be a factor. And once the battery will not hold a charge, it's done. As they age or progress thru their charging cycles, the voltage drops happen sooner and battery life shortens. Oddly enough, one of my original 1300mah Vision Spinners is still kicking and one I bought only 6 months ago died prematurely. Go figure....
  2. Surely there will be a market for more advanced vaping. Dont you think that Big Tobacco will support this? In the form of "sister" companies catering to this need? Otherwise I would expect a huge underground market. I just don't see how they can stop it. It's just too dang easy to produce your own gear and juice. The amount of regulation required to limit consumer purchase of hardware, ingredients, etc is mind boggling. They would have to redesign and trademark batteries etc. It's crazy. I'll take my dozen protanks and hobble along with what I have for years if necessary....they'll have to pry my vape from my cold dead hand, lol...
  3. Thanks, Christopher. Right? I can hardly believe it myself. I'm trying to picture what a pile of 12,000 cigarettes would look like.
  4. Here are some of my favorite "non fruit" flavors. While I do enjoy some fruits flavors, usually complex natural flavors, not candy-like, I prefer others for my main flavors - Cappuccino Diablo - Highbrow Mint Medley - Fadora Vapors Derailed - Suicide Bunny Starship1 - Space Jam (custard) Dillinger - Villain Vapor (vanilla caramel Cookies n Cream - Adam Bomb Brazilian Coffee - Mystic Palace Asteria - Luxe Vapor (choc esspresso)
  5. All of my issues have been addressed by others. Looks good. A couple of forums don't come up on "new content" (which I use almost exclusively) Rants is one. Maybe that's by design. I think another one I miss unless I look for it manually is supplier "deals". I like to know when vendors (including VT) run specials but those never come up on "new content" (may be by design as well).
  6. Check to see if your threads on the battery conflict with the airholes in the side of the base. You can try raising the positive post/disc on the battery slightly so it makes contact sooner. I have found on some batteries the threads are different lengths and do restrict airflow. Next best thing is reaming out the air holes as comp describes
  7. Just want to put in a plug for Rip Trippers single micro coil rebuild of the nautilus coils. I've seen a couple different rebuilds of this dual coil but what I like about the single coil rebuild is you don't have to disassemble the whole coil housing to rebuild it. It's a much simpler build and Rip says it out performs the stock dual coil. Look for it on YouTube. I'm gonna try it later today.
  8. Yes it's fine. That's a standard 5v wall adapter. And your charger hss the correct rating.
  9. Bravo! I can't help but think of "Love Actually" when I read that hahaha.
  10. Did someone say sing? Did someone say back ups song? Hmmmmm......
  11. I like Starship1 and yes I find it be of good quality. I'm not as hot on the other flavors but people like them.
  12. Good luck this time AV. Im not gonna jump all over your choice but I will say that quality gear and juice will jave a lot to do with your success. Save some bucks and instead of buying cigs spend about $35 on a good battery and tank and make it work. Good luck!
  13. I personally have not experienced this - mainly because I am completely satisfied without subohming. But from my reading it seems airflow is key in the area of sub ohming so you might want to address that in some research.
  14. Oh yes. That is important, especially if you are using cotton. You do not want a cotton wick to go dry for sure.
  15. I just watched his rebuild video for the nautilus coils. Very nice and simple single coil rebuild. I'm gonna try this
  16. Can't really prevent it because it's the juice you're using. Look up "dry burn" on YouTube. That will help.
  17. Hi Christopher! Thanks a lot. No worries. Really appreciate the hard work and long hours and attention to the forum. Hope you have time to bang on the keys now and again. Cheers
  18. My first was Liqua tobacco. It got me off cigs the first day. I remember being horrified with the idea of vaping "flavors", lol. But about 2 weeks later I tried a cappuccino flavor. It Was. Awesome. The rest is history.
