The make up of the flavoring can vary greatly even with the same maker. One of my favorite coffee juices doesnt burn essily but it goes thru a coil in less than half the time as other juices. Sounds like the boss isn't so boss.

A pipe dream? (Pun intended) The Holy Grail of hardware manufacturers. The idea that the holder of a 10 year old technology will dominate the market is a little absurd. What I think is the tobacco biggies will survive the FDA and then pass on the costs to the consumer and the consumer will pay "$6 a pack" prices to vape. Meanwhile, we'll be firing up the still hidden in the back 40 and sitting around clutching our our mods and pro tanks talking about the glory days of vaping...

Well.....I'm sure you'll get many reactions to this. But here's what I do.... I NEVER poor old juice back in to the bottle it came from. Not good. If I don't care, I dump the juice, dry up the wick as much as possible and then add new juice if it's a similar or like flavor. I never mix crazy flavors, like a mint with a coffee or a fruity then a bakery. Most of the time I just vape down and re wick the coil and start fresh. If it's one of my favorite juices I start fresh with a brand new coil. The solution is to have LOTS of tanks, haha.

Yeah that's interesting. When you fire coil without cotton, does it heat evenly from center outward? Are there hot spots? I'm assuming it's a micro coil - are there any gaps? My first guess is too little cotton. Does it dry hit quickly?

Well. The short answer is once you burn that coil or keep pushing that high wattage you kind of pass the point of no return on that coil. Best to slowly increase the wattage and then back down a notch when you first taste that burn. Eventually that coil will burn out depending on the juice you're using and you can't recover it. You could try cleaning the coil, rinsing thoroughly soaking in alcohol and see if you can recover it if not too bad.
