  1. Hmmmm..... How much did you smoke? Lights or full flavor? Will you be able to charge on the go? Or how long do you need your battery to last between charges? Do you have any vaping experience?
  2. Thanks, guys. It's been a pleasure.
  3. Hehe. That Hydra gets around. Great line of juice.
  4. Wow awesome. I agree with him. His "we sre the new smokers" comment is right on and not to be taken lightly. For the last 6 months or so my wife has a co-worker who "knows all about vaping". This guy has been feeding my wife a constant stream of regurgitated anti vaping info. In every case I have sent my wife all of the debunking articles related to all of his attacks which she forwards to him faithfully. Finally, after 6 months he has stopped feeding her this BS. But I'm not betting he isn't spreading this stuff around elsewhere. THis is a real attack and I think we take for granted sometimes that we have it easy because we right now it is easy but the day approaches when that ends and we find ourselves the new "sinners" and the sin tax starts.
  5. Okay, Comp. What is in this stuff?? My 10 ml sample is dwindling as I write this. Good stuff..
  6. Okay, this will be my last public pat myself on the back. I've long long since passed the point of knowing I'll never smoke a ciggy again. Been a great ride in no small part due to the guidance and commraderie found here at VT. I want Christopher and all the guys that put VT here and keep it running to know that I deeply appreciate what you have done for me. Thank you. It is no small thing. I was basically killing myself and now here I stand trying to imagine what a pile Of 15,000 cigarettes would look like - the ones I would have smoked if I hadn't started vaping. So, yeah, I'll pat myself on the back today. But it's really a gesture and acknowledgment to those that had the genius to create the greatest smoking cessation product ever and to those who blazed the trail before me and created a path out of that death trap and especially those that keep the trail wide open for the next guy. Cheers!
  7. I just realized i had put my hydra bones away for a rainy day. I cracked it open and Ive been sucking it down ever since. This is REALLY really good!
  8. Well, I just saw one of these California Dept of Public Health ads last night on TV. Just as commentary, I had a surprisingly strong reaction of betrayal. These ads are very slickly produced. They are not cheaply thrown together and they are very cleverly designed to frighten the general public with alarming misinformation. It's done with an authoritative air and this group of ads punches up long debunked issues on vaping.. There are NO facts, NO supporting evidence, no studies cited etc. it is just pure and simple rumor mongering without substantiation.. Appalling. It is discouraging to think your own tax money funds this BS. The really sad part is in this modern day media "no accountability" mentality where anyone with the bucks can stand up and spew lies and innuendo designed to cripple a well-meaning, grass roots movement, the uninformed will eat up this garbage thinking they've just been given the facts and they will unwittingly propagate this BS. Frankly, the Cal Dept of Pub Health has just made enemies of millions of potential allies. It is just the very definition of insanity. Cutting off your nose to spite your face. This sort of unbridled irresponsibility from those in a position of trust is exactly how corruption spreads in a society and how that society weakens as a result. The CDPH has just stood up and declared they are not interested in public health at all, but are in the pockets of those who would profit from the very diseases they so righteously claim to be fighting. Insane. Here is a link to a very good article debunking the CDPH's campaign. http://www.electroniccigaretteconsumerreviews.com/still-blowing-smoke-org-fact-vs-fiction/
  9. The battery should have both connections. It appears male only at first glance but there is an inner set of female threads that are not obvious.
  10. May the great bunny leave eggs all over the place!
  11. I've played around with this idea a little. I have an opinion about it I'd like to share mostly because I want to find out if I'm missing anything or if there is more I could learn about it. In general I believe the following to be true: Application of a small amount of water works extremely well just after releasing the fire button. It blows deposits right off the coil clean as a whistle. Care must be taken not to get water in to the device so this takes some skill that may not be suitable for the average user. Thorough cleaning and drying is a must. Risks: On an unregulated device potential disaster in two ways - direct short with water while firing or short from residual water unseen. I wouldn't reccomend this at all unless you know what you are doing. Regulated device - should shut down with direct short. This includes ego style batteries. Risk if water gets in to casing is battery is ruined permanently but shouldn't be a catastrophic failure i.e. explosion Other risk - shorting out batteries can degrade them and make them unpredictable? Particularly in non regulated device? As Tam said a good dry burn and cleaning is just good enough. Might not be worth the risks. I'm open to other opinions..
  12. But comp, you HAVE to get that thing working. I mean, it's just too cool to abandon.
  13. That last one looks like it even has the whammy bar lol. Cool coil haha
  14. The perils of DIY.... It's like when you figure out how to install a new appliance at home and your neighbor says "hey, can you do that for me???" Ummm...not unless I see green haha. People don't realize the time and effort into any kind of diy.....or maybe they do!!
  15. The sweeter the juice, the faster the coils go. Just the way it is...
  16. Im staring 2 years in yhe face myself. Just around the corner. Congratulations.
  17. Ummmm..... Lame Stupid Store? Lacking Social Structure? Lop Sided Stripclub? .......no idea.
  18. No, it is interesting. no worries
  19. We discussed this pretty thoroughly some time ago. The general consesus was 1. Does vaporizing caffeine alter it? Nobody knows bit like renders it less effective 2. No evidence that there is enough caffeine to make any difference or even practical since caffeine is more easily ingested in common ways. Most descriptions seem placebo effect. Personally, I dont need any more caffeine than I already get in one or two cups of coffee a day. Im not that fond of the idea of burning out my adrenals artificially anyway. Let us know what you think. Always open to new data.
  20. Haha. You're a true troubadour, Jon. Dig it.
  21. I wish I could like your post 1000 Xs, Comp.
