How much does nicotine alter the flavor?
Bebop replied to Adversarious1's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
Just as a consumer, not as a DIYer, nicotine greatly changes a flavor. Im basing that on a couple of juices that I still vape having once vaped them at 24mg or 18mg and now I'm down to 3mg and a rare 6mg on the same juice. I dont know that flavor profiles are changed for different nicotine levels. I suppose it's possible but in my opinion nicotine adds a bitterness to a flavor and possibly not one that can be corrected by a flavor change. You may just end up having to experiment with it. -
The bubbles are no big deal. They are just trapped between glass and metal cage (frame) that supports glass. One of your o rings is likely damaged or over compressed (too tight).
-
Hard to tell but I dont see red oring at the base where the glass meets the base. Do you see the super thin red line right at base in my pic? This oring That oring might be damaged. Try pulling it out and flipping it over. Make sure you dont screw tank on too tight. The tank does not look crossthreaded
-
Yeah. I think the earlier version was the ego-T then it became the ego-C and the ego-T became a 650 mah bat packaged with a CE4 style clearo.

Make sure base is screwed to tank frame squarely and not crossthreaded. Post a closeup pic of it assembled if you can. Make sure coil is seated firmly Should look like this:

After lurking here for a couple weeks (and smoking while I read everything I could find on the subject, lol) I purchased on line a Joyetech Ego-c starter kit (650 mah ego bat and that proprietary tank system) for myself, and the joyetech eroll for my wife because I thought she'd hate that big cigar like ego-c. The day it arrived I had my last ciggy. A week later I was topping the 650 mah with iclear 16's and the rest was history.

Dry hit? What's that? I just checked based on my old posts the last time I built a new coil was July 3rd. And that coil is not the one I re wicked this morning. So this coil went a minimum of 5 weeks and probably more like 6 weeks before I changed the wick. The only thing I noticed was a slight drop in vapor and flavor, nothing like a burnt taste or a fail.

I am still diggin' TC. this morning I was vaping away and I wasn't quite getting the vapor I was expecting. As I was taking apart the STmini I was thinking 'when did I rebuild this last?'. I couldn't remember, lol. It's literally been that long. This thing has been chugging away for weeks and weeks. No surprise, the coil showed some gunk, more so than usual but I have been vamping tank after tank of one of my sweeter darker juices in it. I pulled it apart, the wick easily slid out of the coil. I brushed off the crud. I wasn't in a place where I could build a new coil. It cleaned up pretty well, not perfect but nicely. Threw a fresh wad of cotton in her and reloaded. Bam, good as new. Fresh taste, great vapor. Back in business in a couple minutes. I'm still really impressed with the performance of these coils. Usually, you know, you vape a week and you gotta rebuild. I'll probably let this one go another while then maybe put in a new coil in a week or two, if I get ambitious, lol. Might even try one of those verticals. 'Course, I will be getting my new RBA bases here pretty soon so I'm sure I'll build 'em up right away. i have no complaints about TC.

sorry to abandon you like that. Hit a busy spell.... ok, I'm a little uncomfortable trying to help you get "high" lol. But here's the deal: vaping or vaporizing liquid is not like smoking. Hookah is smoking. In vaping there is no combustion. There is no smoke. So you don't have the chemical properties associated with combustion and you don't have the tars and other particulates you have with smoking. In short, I think you're going to be hard pressed to get that feeling from vaping. besides, it's not good for you man. Your body and your brain need oxygen. To deprive yourself of that is not a good idea. It probably won't kill you right away but over time, not good. Not something I recommend getting in to. Honestly, I just don't think vaping is for you. Sorry -

Bebop replied to JJVape's topic in New Vapers Forum
Hookah is a marinated tobacco product. Flavored tobacco. The "high" is oxygen deprivation (lots more CO2) and chemical inhalation. Probably comparable to cigs in chemicals and depending on the method, more CO2. (carbon dioxide). Anyone who has smoked non filters knows this "high".... -
Isn't it awesome not having a car payment? My truck is 11 years old. I can fix everything on it. Cheap insurance, cheap registration, the only thing I really pay for is gas but I don't mind. I know im facing getting another EV or hybrid one day (wife has one) but until then I'm enjoying the freedom.

Bebop replied to DenZacker's topic in Introduce Yourself
Up your nicotine for a month but definitely get a better rig. -
Have you tried A & D Vapors?

Just ordered 2.

Great looking Clapton! Eric would be proud, gunner.

Cool. Sounds like the new one addresses all my old issues with the STmini. I like it.

In my opinion the sub tank mini is a direct to lung tank and doesnt perform well as mouth to lung. Direct to lung likes lots of air. If you are not used to it, do a short blast with lots of air. Mouth to lung you have to use higher resistance - 1.5 or above and close off that airflow. It's tough because even with the lowest air setting the sub tank mini is pretty airy. Good luck

Let me know what you think of the redesigned RBA section.
