  1. What device are you using? (Tank and battery)
  2. Yeah, take it back to where you bought it. Have somebody look at it. You've only had it a week or so, right? They'll replace it. or take it to somebody who knows what to look for and can physically check it. But it sounds like you got a bad one. Sorry couldn't help.
  3. I just bought 2 of the LGs. Should have them in a day or two. My efests seem fine. I really inspected them. They never get hot. But i never push them either. Better safe than sorry. For $20? Its a no brainer.
  4. Things to check Coil screwed formly to base When filling tank you are filling to outside sleave, not the center chimney Not over filling so juice gets in to center chminey Base with coil screwed formly to tank while still inverted. Couple questions: 1. Does it gurgle right away or does it work fine for a while then leak slowly over time? 2. Does it leak out of the air slots? 3. If you blow thru the mouthpiece to clear the chimney of juice does it clear up for a while and then start leaking again? 4. Do you prime the coils with juice before assembling to tank?
  5. Joye tech is pretty quality stuff. Are you sure it isn't a clone? They are pretty simple devices so if you checked the usual then I'd suspect a clone or knock off coils.
  6. In Calif nobody knows how to change a light bulb or make coffee. For some its a daily routine. Venti is Italian for "20".
  7. It's a large coffee at Starbucks - 20oz I think
  8. I have 2 of that exact battery. this is oNe report of one incident. Im going to replace tHem anyway. Not worththe rIsk. the editor iS giing me terterrIfic grigrief right now. Im gOing to stop pOsting on my phone tIl. Figure tHis ooUt. SpeSpending more tIme corrcorreCting my pOpOsTs lol
  9. I should add (just for fun) that's an averagecup of coffee. Around here, we dont call it coffee unless it's a venti with 4 shots. And by here I mean Calif
  10. I will keep an eye out. I am getting ready to do a Ni build on my Doge X2. I've had an awesome K build on it that I havent wanted to disturb bit its time now. Tomorrow ive got some free time to mess with it.
  11. yeah. I mean probably he most dangerous point in the ZA. You dont immediately recognize them. This could be iN some ways more suspenseful.
  12. See. That is just sad. But I would say the same about street racing, neglectful parenting, irresponsible gun ownership. The extreme elements to any endeavor have always threatened responsible behavior.
  13. where did you hear that? Do you have any testing or reports that show that? Can you link to a study on that? Thanks The average cup of coffee contains 150 - 300 mg of caffeine that's a LOT of hits off the ecig to amount to anything even if what you say is accurate....
  14. I agree with you that competition style vaping or "sport" vaping doesn't help vaping causes and in fact endangers vaping in general. I think it's also important to make a distinction between competition cloud chasing and sub ohm. Sub ohm does not equal cloud chasing necessarily. Yes, you get higher performance with sub ohm but you can easily curb that performance and not flaunt it. We are really talking about a behavioral aspect of vaping, and not sub ohm. I will be the first to admit that sub ohm (or low ohm) vaping is a little indulgent. But it can be done responsibly and probably is done responsibly by most. That is the key. There are plenty of Ferrari driving the speed limit out there
  15. Fear the Walking Dead? anybody catch the preview Sunday night? yay? or nay?
  16. absolutely, and they are all appreciated greatly, Dragongunner, Bush, Rich, and a bunch of others - it's a good group. Sometimes I wish people would just say goodbye so we could wish them well...lol. But more likely they'll just drop in and say hi when they can....
  17. Well, B, you bring up some good points. It was definitely different back then and there were dozens of good guys contributing, if not technically, socially anyway and it was good. I, as well, always shied away from steering people elsewhere because this is a good site and you get good and honest help here. I know I appreciated it in the beginning. I owe my success in vaping to VT in general and the large body of well meaning contributors. I can't help but wonder if the proliferation of B&Ms has contributed and there may very well be the same proliferation in forums as well, I don't know, I haven't really searched them out since I found VT back in the day. It may be a case of saturation as well. What are the things that contribute to VTs success? Or what could we add? Or are these guys falling off the wagon and too embarrassed to come back? I don't know, I tend to hope that they move on but continue to vape and spread the word.
  18. So I was at my local vape shop trying out some new juices as I get a bug to do this now and again. They have a nice bar set up and you meet some friendly people there. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly (rare for a B&M, I know). Anyway, it's fun to hang there now and again. anyway, guy sits down and it was interesting, brand new to vaping. Been smoking for years and years, and this guy has all the questions. I end up spending half an hour with him talking gear and liquids and ecig news. It was fascinating. Real noobies are still out there. This guy (I would say mid 40s) was just real interested in vaping and desperate to quit smoking. He had all the problems noobs have with nice levels and throat hit and vapor production. He had concerns about all the stuff he's heard about how vaping is just as bad as smoking. But something compelled him to come in that day. I straightened him out, got him all dialed in on a couple flavors, gave him some tips, told him my recommendations on some gear. Another girl there picking up some juice chimed in with some good suggestions. The guy was quite happy and didn't bat an eye dropping a couple large bills on counter and walking away quite pleased. He was so grateful and thankful. Geezuz, I practically cried when he was thanking me because it was so heartfelt and genuine. We made another vaper that day. Sometimes I get so used to the routine of vaping, I forget there are other people out there who know next to nothing and are desperately trying to get the monkey off their back on smoking. It's brand new to them and you can feel the raw emotion of them struggling with their addiction. I really hope the government and the nanny contingent don't kill vaping as we know it. I don't see a guy like this making it on cig-a-likes. Smoking is a real addiction, and probably more insidious than heroin, because it's legal and "accepted" and you are still functional but it's no less tormenting to the addict.
  19. Are they not entertained?! do they have lives or something?! Lol i hope our missing comrades are still vaping even if they are not posting.
  20. Hey Comp, this weekend I mixed your PBFB with one of my coffee vapes and it was delicious, I have to say. I've pretty much powered through my PBFB and my Hydra Bones so look for another order coming soon.
  21. I definitely increased my vaping when I dropped my nic levels. It was also more enjoyable because I liked the flavors better too so it was a bit of a double edged sword. I have periods of the day where I cannot vape freely and it used to be tougher but I have since gotten so used to low nic levels that I don't stress out about it at all any more. In fact, it's now at the point where if I even vape a 12 I'm like, "blech!" - it tastes terrible to me. I keep a mini PT loaded with 6 and I can stealth vape a few hits of 6 and I'm good for a while. For me right now, 6 is a nice compromise between flavor and nice when I want it. Other than that I'm happy with 3 all day even though I'm probably vaping a bit more than I would if I was using 6.
  22. Well this weekend is the annual San Jose jazz festival and Im getting ready to kick off a nice gig here downtown. Weather is awesome, lots of peoples, music everywhere. Gonna be fun.
