Did they tell you the ohm rating of the coil they built for you?
-
that's normal. And it varies with the type of juice

And also, I'll just add - that set up is designed to used with a direct to lung hit instead of a typical drag like you would on a ciggy. If you try to drag it like a cig and then inhale it's going to choke you out. You want to open up the airflow and inhale directly into the lung in one smooth hit. It's a little counterintuitive if you are used to pulling it in to your mouth and then sucking it in to your lungs. Try a small direct to lung hit. You should notice a big difference.

Rich is right on. How is airflow controlled on ego one? Is it adjustable? It's kind of a must for sub ohm

Supposedly, cotton scorches at 450 or 460? Anyway. If it's wicking well, no problem but if the wicking can't keep up with the heat it'll scorch....

Second Samsung 25R down in as many months
Bebop replied to Earthling789's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hmmmm.....funny that you mention this. Ive been been rotating MXJO 2500mah, efest 2800 mah, and LG H2 3000 mah 18650's i just bought the LG's and been using for a month or so. They don't seem to have the mah rating they are marked with. And funny still, I swear they are discharging overnight. Yeah, I bought them at a reputable place. I don't know, they don't seem to last. They do work but they die pretty quickly. Can't explain it but they definitely aren't outperforming the other two...... -
Many of the testers at vape shops have little or no nicotine. If you then are buying a flavor that has more nicotine you are definitely going to taste a difference. Since it is happening with so many juices you have mentioned that is my first guess as to what is going on. What nicotine level are you vaping?

What setup do i need for Cloud competitions?
Bebop replied to JoeyForte's topic in General Vaping Discussion
He almost does blow his face off! I love the part where goes to take a hit off it at 6 volts and does a double take when he remembers he set it so high. That would have been epic. Seriously though, this guy is a shame. -

In short - if you have to ask this question?, you're going to lose. I hopethat was taken with some humor, Joey. -
Vape for life? When is it time to give it up?
Bebop replied to Mike's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Wow.. Great topic. Maybe because I've been in a similar frame of mind lately. I've been vaping now for about 30 months. My original idea when I started was to quit smoking. And I've accomplished that with no reservations. Even if I quit vaping, I know I will never go back to smoking. Using simple devices I weened myself down to 6mg in about a year. Then I dropped down to 3 or 4 with sub ohming and even that seems too much. I definitely have times when I mindlessly vape but over the last couple of months I've gone for longer and longer stretches without vaping. And actually not missing it. 2 years ago, if I forgot my kit or didn't bring enough juice I would have turned the car around and gone back, lol. These days, not so much. More and more I find my self taking a couple puffs and I'm good. Recently my wife said she's feeling done with it. She announced she wants to stop vaping by next summer. I know her. She'll be done in a few months. I'm starting to entertain the idea bit I don't feel any pressure one way or the other. I still kind of enjoy it, especially at certain times. I just don't have the fever any more, and I'm totally ok with that. -
Yeah. Could just be a bad coil.

You don't mention which tank or battery you are using. disassemble all parts and clean them well especially the electrical contact points - the threads on your tank and battery, the center pin of your tank and battery. Sometimes leaking juice and build up on your contacts can mess with your resistance levels.

Yeah, no doubt it's my juice and wicking limiting me.

Rixter's Review of GearBest's Kangxin Mini VF 50W
Bebop replied to Rixter's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Ooh....I'm looking for another temp control mod. Don't get me wrong, I love my Heatvape too, but I've been wanting another back up and maybe one that's not so beefy as the invader mini. This might be the ticket.... -
Lol. Tam is a very giving person. I say she's wearing a halo and some sort of flowing gown.

I'll just toss in my 2 cents worth. prob has nothing to do with the iStick 50. Most likely it has to do with the design. I'm not familiar with all those tanks but when you're talking about heat, you're talking about heat transfer. So, proximity of the coil to the posts, size of the chamber, heat sink properties of the coil housing, insulator thickness, length of coil legs - there are quite a few factors involved. The design differences could be pretty small but could still add up to higher heat transfer, enough to cause a significant difference between tanks. Especially when you chain vape. Coils retain a lot of heat. When you chain vape, the heat convection just carries on and builds up. Frankly, I don't know how you get 28 watts on a .5 coil. I burn up a .5 pretty fast over 25w. Sweet spot for me is like 18 - 22, something like that. 28w is pretty hot to begin with.

It looks like Nicoticket used a lab that is using what is currently thought of as the best method for testing - GC, Gas chromatography. Appears legit. I think it's wise to be a little skeptical regarding testing. Its It's very easy to believe something on the internet if you agree with it. And there have been some testing scandals including using sub par testing methods or trusting a 3rd party claim they have tested.

...and it will double as a boat anchor.... i have to switch hands often so I get an equal workout.

They aren't going to ban diketones. They are already all over the place ( FDAs list of Generallly Recognized As Safe food additives). They already have limits in place. What they will do is try to regulate the production of e-liquids. They will likely make e-liquid manufacturers submit to heavy testing and manufacturing guidelines (no making e-juice in the bathtub) which will effectively eliminate about 90% of the e-liquid makers (wild guess but in the ball park) . The problem they are going to have is that it is so easy to make e-juice that they have to come up with a way to control it and that's going to be very difficult. Making backwoods whiskey is rocket science compared to making e-juice so I say good luck to the FDA on capping e-juice off.

Hmmmm......very interesting.....

Hehe....nice try, Tam.....

Welcome Don. Enjoy your new adventure. the mini nautilus with the ileaf is a great combo. No need to rush in to sub ohm. Take your time. Feel free to pose any questions you have about it and we'll be happy to answer. i would recommend bumping up to the 30w ileaf. But no rush.

Awesome. Let us know where we can get diketone free E-liquid.
