Which kit is this? What tank are you using?

You have version 2 with the ports on the side of RBA? What is the pg/vg mix of your juice? My first guess is too much cotton or not enough. Or, it could simply be too much power

No cany. It's definitely stripped. It's the 510 female thread in the center. Unfortunately there is no way to connect to this mod without this cap. Kinda sucks. My tanks are clinging to about a thread and a half and that's it. I'm just being real careful with it till I can find a couple. I didn't think they would be so rare. Will try and contact heatvape.

Yeah I can put it in my cart but it says back ordered. That could mean forever, lol. Not sure what to think of it. There is one other place in Australia........

Yeah i see two parts missing (or one broken) the center stem and the top cap is missing the "cage" (or it's broken off) hard to see in the pic. Oh wait I see it now. Yeah just looks like the center stem is missing (i dont think it's a separate part, right?) Ok never mind. The stem screws in both ends. Missing the stem Never mind me. Late to the party as usual...

So while I'm putting anew coil in for her I hear this sound. It's familiar in a strange kinda way....HEY WAIT A MINUTE! That's my rig firing! the look in her eyes was priceless. She looks straight at me. "I want this", she says. Yep, next thing I'm building her a fresh coil in one of my sub tanks (translation: her new sub tank). Fill it with her current favorite peach soda. OMG, you should have seen her eyes glaze over. Yeah, her tanks are history. Classic.

Okay! Sorry my schedule blew up on me this week. Sounds like you're good. Mine will sometimes read higher for a couple of hits and then settles in. Most important thing is the coil being cool before you set "new coil".

As far as I know. I always do new coil as I want a fresh reading each time. But that's just me.

Yeah. That's the nicotine level. Completelyy separate issue. There is a coil (think of it like the filament in a light bulb) there is cotton stuffed in the "filament" that feeds juice to the filament. The coil has a rating just like a light bulb. When you hit the button the coil gets the current and heats up depending on the rating of the coil. If the coil is made with high resistance then the coil does not get as hot if the coil is made with low resistance. Your device is designed to send only one level of power to the coil.. Its "on" or "off". Therefore your coil resistance is important as it determines how hot your coil gets. (in the light bulb analogy it's how bright your light is - 20watts or 100watts). What's a little easier to operate is like the guys above have stated. A variable device that you can control the power (like a dimmer switch on a light). The coil resistance is not as critical because you can turn the power up or down according to your tastes. Next time you go in,, tell them your coil is a little hot amd youd like it turned down a little.

Hmmm..... I do know that in TC mode if you don't let the coil cool completely you will get a false reading on a new read. You have to let the coil cool. Or suck through it like crazy without firing it to cool the coil before getting a fresh reading.

But dont do that because the little bearing will fall out. Seriously, that sucker is like the eyeball of a gnat. Mine cones off easily and I have to make extra effort not to unscrew base incorrectly or that thing flys off. It will work without the bearing, it just won't "click" in to place.

I don't know what you mean, cany. "Can't get the coil back"? If I change battery or put tank back on after refilling, I hit "new coil" and it reads the coil and here we go. Nothing changes for me.
