  1. Nothing wrong with vaping at 7w. For sure the eleaf gives you plenty of options to try just about any tank you like. And you can get more performance if you want it. If it's not handling your cravings I'd look at nicotine content first.
  2. I've used everything from garden variety cotton to obi wan kenobi and thos stuff is great.
  3. So, I finally bought some cotton bacon from Lightning Vapes (along with a bunch of wire, and what the heck, I tried a couple of their juices too - blech!! ) I have been using the cotton bacon for a couple weeks now..... I LOVE this stuff. It's my absolute favorite cotton now. Wicks like crazy and easy to work with. My only complaint - I waste a LOT of cotton. That's no biggie, it's cheap but I love how fluffy and juicy it is.
  4. Welcome, Tahoe One of the best stocked vape shops I have ever seen was in Placerville.
  5. Deez - how can you work while thest of us stay home? Would anubody miss you if you didnt show up? Pineapple pie? Never tried it. I'll try anything at least once. Stuffing is half the turkey. Fact. Have a great day everyone.
  6. All the pre-cooking is done...... hope you all have a nice day off and get to enjoy some friends and family and a relaxing day. i am thankful for all the good advice and comraderie and the funnies. . happy Thanksgiving mike
  7. I'm sorry but I think it's toast. I had an ego style battery do the same thing and I'm pretty sure it wasn't the button. Since yours is a hand-me-down I'd be willing to bet it's done. You can buy a decent ego battery for $10 but they do have a limited life even if you get a good one.
  8. glad to see TC is still alive! I haven't tried Ti yet. Last time I looked in to it I thought it was a little sketchy with regard to breaking down with heat. I don't know. Rixter and I had a conversation about it months ago and I kind of abandoned it but i know a lot of guys are using it. Also, I tried some of the Ni wire from lightning vapes that is tempered. It works really well. Definitely easier to work with but might be a little gimmicky. I never really had that much trouble with Ni but it's definitely different.
  9. You should definitely notice an improvement in flavor.
  10. B - I meant more discreet relative to my sub tank minis which put out way more vapor. You'll find the BVC puts out a little more vapor than the kanger coils.
  11. Two things - i think you need the redesigned base to fit the BVC. And I don't know if the nautilus BVC fits, but you can try. but I do know this. The juice doesn't not flow thru the top of these coils. It enters thru the small holes punched around the bottom. However, if you want to prime them, I drop 2 - 4 drops directly in to the top then dab a little on each hole. If you do this, you can virtually start vaping right away. If you don't prime them you can just wait a few minutes like you have, but I'd wait a few extra minutes because the coils are larger/have more cotton. I should add - if you have gurgling problems with the BVC (usually from over priming) , just jack up the power a little and burn the excess off briefly then drop power back to normal. You will find that you can run the BVC with more power than you have been using but it shortens coil life a little bit. Just what I've run in to with the BVC. I still use them occasionally when I want a more Discreet vApe.
  12. Nickel for sure. Some guys use Titanium. Kanthal won't work - yet. Set your temp about 450 - 460 to start and work up from there if needed. I don't like setting it too high as it kind of defeats the purpose. The better your cotton and wicking, the higher temp it will take. If your wick stays wet it will take a higher temp. It's a balance.
  13. Right now, I'm still planning to go (never been) . i kind of refuse to cower down to this kind of threat. But, I'm not blind stupid either so I don't see myself jumping in to a hotbed of insanity either. We'll see.....
  14. Oh - see.....I did post twice haha. Wanna hear something really ironic? 2 weeks ago I just finished planning and budgeting for a 2 week vacation next summer with another couple ............... In Paris..... im a little freaked out. geez, what is happening to the world? I don't know but it's F'd up........ if if I could, I'd make one of those emoticons dealies and it wouldn't be a happy one....
  15. ....and....apparently, as if once wasn't enough, I have posted this twice.... Arrrgh...... Oh well, double dumbass on me...
  16. This is not a serious post! Man oh man. With Holidays approaching, planning trips and managing my work and playing schedule I have been swamped! Part of my inactivity is navigating the forum changes. I know it's not rocket science but I haven't had the time to sort out my preferences and get used to the new look. It "feels" really different and I can't put my finger on it. Especially on mobile. It "Feels" far away - whatever that means. Instead of being immersed it's as if I have to go deeper into layets to reach what was on the surface - if that means anything. And it could just be that I'm a little stressed and I need to bump up the nic a little, lol. Honestly, if you have any tips on what you've done to set up your access to VT they will be welcome! If I'm just crazy, tell me! I invite the interaction. <----------- see, i cant even do an emoticon anymore! Haha This is not A serious post. I'm doing fine. I tell myself that every morning! Oh, and this is not a criticism of the new website - if more of a pronouncement that I am an idiot! :)

  18. I love my Zephyrus tank, if that means anything...... :)
  19. Okay. I just found a new coffee that's pretty darn good. (new to me). GQ Vapes "Caviar". Why they call it "Caviar" is a mystery to me but, whatev. I shake my head at half the juice names I see anyway. Anyway, this is described as a coffee with cream and a hint of caramel. I'm vaping this on a subtank mini kanthal build at .75 ohms at around 20 Watts. There is no pg/vg listing but if I had to guess, it's in the higher vg range of 70%. It's not too thin, vapes slowly and produces good clouds. What I like: I like my coffee flavors natural and not overly sweet. I also do not like the "burnt" flavor associated with so many bad coffees. This one fits the bill. I get a good strong coffee flavor with a secondary cream layer that smooths it out. A tiny bit of sweetness which is probably the caramel overtones but I don't get a strong caramel flavor. I want the coffee taste first and only a hint of other flavors and this one delivers. It's coffee but not harsh and has a nice smooth finish. What I don't like: There is not a lot I don't like in this flavor. In fact it ranks in my top 5 coffees. It's not terribly exciting as a flavor, maybe. I don't think it's an ADV for me. But it's a nice switch from other flavors and when I'm in the mood for a good, straight coffee, I'll head here. Because of it's natural tones and understated sweetness this makes a terrific pairing with a sweet cinnamon roll or coffee cake. As always, the entire preceding review is subjective and relatively meaningless. But in my opinion, since I love coffee flavors and have tried many many bad ones, this one is right on and sure to please most coffee vape lovers.
  20. You guys are missing out... i made one of my famous batches of split pea soup - sauteed onions, carrots and garlic and diced canadian bacon. Talk about stick to your ribs. That and a loaf of french bread and I couldn't be happier...
  21. What's the diameter on the russian? Know offhand? Wait....is that a wrap on the istick, Tam?
