  1. Couple things to look at- 1) coils smothered with juice and can't keep up. Especially if coils are old or have build up. At .28 ohm you should be comfortanle pushing 60 watts or more. 2) airflow. The air holes must be lined up correctly with the coils. And you need lots of airflow for clouds. If the airflow is not lined up correctly you won't get clouds. 3) battery output. Your close to maxed out on that mod. Verify you have batteries that can keep up. 4) hot spots on the coil. If the coil isnt getting even current it is not efficient and won't produce clouds. With the cap off berify coils heating up evenly.
  2. Yeah I'm not sure. the Tesla One is described as an unregulated sub ohm mod. That means on a fresh charge it could be putting out as much as 80watts on a .2 ohm coil. And since you can't control it you have no way to "turn it down" other than let the battery fade in voltage from use. the only other thing I could find is that the Vortek tank has a juice flow control and if you are using 80vg then you have to have that on max for sure. Also you have to check your airflow control and balance between them. im a little stumped. I personally don't like that setup as you have no control on the Tesla One. But that doesn't explain why the kanger is not working either. Get a a fresh coil. Put it on the kanger and start on low wattage. If the kanger has TC mode, use it. If it doesn't set it at about 15 watts and work up from there. And ma,ke sure the juice flow control on the vortex is wide open.
  3. See my edit on previous post. if it is the .2 ohm coil from tesla then you should be using a TC mode device only. If you don't have a temp control device then you have to switch to the .5 ohm coils.
  4. This has all the ear marks of dry hits. are you sure they are .2 ohm coils and not 2 ohm coils? can you actually measure the coil resistance using a meter? What at is the actual description of the coils from the box or packaging? Have you verified the settings on your mod so you are not in TC mode ? The description of the tank states that the tank comes with .5 ohm kanthal coils and .2 ohm nickel coils. If that is what you have, then you were using TC mode on the .2 ohm coils and now somehow you are not using TC mode. There is no way you are putting 30-40 watts on a nickel coil unless you are in power mode instead of TC. That's my guess.
  5. Pretty sure you can swap out the mouthpiece (drip tip) on the ego one for a bigger one if you want. That's what I do on all my tanks too.

    Yeehaw! Good for you.
  7. Good. straighten out those coils, measure their resistance and make sure it's safe before you go too crazy with it. Good luck. Do not blow yourself up!!!!
  8. Any chance you could do a clearer picture in focus? Its not good enough to diagnose. Very hard to see actual connections. It looks like it should be one leg up, one leg down like this build.
  9. Nope. If I were you I would reflect colored lights at the cloud. my quick answer, without a terrible amount of thought, is that in order to produce color the vapor would have to contain particles. And that's not good. Vapor is essentially liquid that is atomized - it's a true cloud. It looks white because of natural reflection of light off tiny "water" particles. In order for the cloud to appear red, for example, you have to beam it with red light, or, it has to have particle matter that reflects red light only from white light. You don't want anything to do with inhaling particles of matter like that. Not just a bad idea, but possibly fatal if it's even feasible.
  10. I mix juices here and there mostly with good results. The general rule I follow is if I think flavors are complimentary in real life then they'll likely be ok when mixing juices. However, not all flavors are created equal. In other words, half of one and half of another is not always the best combo. Also, some flavor so will cancel each other out and you end up with a "no" flavor or something odd. Remember nic is measured mg/ml. This will help you figure what nice you end up with so if you have a 6ml tank and you mix 1/3 (2ml) of 12mg with 2/3 (4ml) of 3mg you get 24 + 12 = 36 / 6 = 6mg final. mixing juices of different viscosity requires a little blending so it wicks evenly. Otherwise, the sky's the limit. Go for it.
  11. Boy these ebay stories come up a lot, no? Ive never used ebay for vape gear at all so have no experience but the stories are pretty frequent - the ones we hear about anyway. Clones/knockoffs or funky packaging seems to ne the rule.
  12. Don't see why not. But i have 0 experience with the Magnus. Its a dual vertical coil sub ohm tank with .2 or .5 ohm coils. If you like hot vapes it'll work. And the design is pretty typical...
  13. I just think it's wrong to fall in to the trap of attacking ourselves. This is an age old trick, my friends. The. enemy thrives on turning us against ourselves. It's all they have. They don't have the truth or the science behind them so they have to generate propodanda in an effort to create I'll will towards us and if they can turn our sight on ourselves then guess what? They get to sit back and watch us squabble amongst ourselves. These anti-Rip YouTube vlogs by twisted420 and others are NOT HELPING. They are backyard gossip over the fence distractions that only serve the anti-vaping enemy. The correct thing to do is IGNORE it all. Ignore Rip's video and stop the infighting. It's ridiculous. Rip should take responsibility himself for his own contribution to the mess but this pointing fingers at Rip thing only hurts us. Vapor Joe and Twisted420 et al just look bad for the vamping community too. That wasn't aimed at anybody personally. We all know Rip blew it. He should fix it himself.
  14. Ouch. It's a blow but not a knock out punch. The Cal Dept of Pub Health isn't fooling anyone. They can keep cutting there own throats as far as I'm concerned. These big propaganda machines eventually crash. Maybe it'll lead to some truth and reform in California. One can hope, I guess.
  15. Chantix boasts 44% success rate in 9 -12 weeks when coupled with therapy Bahha hahahaha hahaaha! As usual, the preceding post is opinionated, full of innuendo and ridicule and for entertainment purposes only.
  16. First of all we need some clarity on exactly what coil you are using and what your settings are on your eleaf. Coils are usually rated in ohms. Do you know what ohm your coil is rated or measures? Are you building your own coils? Is your eleaf set on voltage mode or wattage? What is it set to? Haha....great minds?
  17. There are industry standards that most manufacturers follow that essentially allow you to marry any tank with any mod. There are a few exceptions but even those have adapters that you can use. Everything you have listed is compatible. The only thing you are going to run in to is slight variations in performance that may not amount to much at all. And then there's the learning curve where you learn what your preferences are, what you like and dislike about a mod or a tank. This will change over time too. Have fun exploring. And don't forget to pay forward anything that doesn't suit you. A little good karma never hurt a vaper.
  18. Are those stainless steel coils? I don't see that you have a TC mod. Just thought I'd mention it. If i missed something, carry on. You'll be happy with a lot of that.
  19. That is sad..... The last of the A&W. We had one that combined with another place for a while but it just wasn't the same.....I think it's long gone.
  20. Turn it down a little? 3.8 3.9?
