Attach the base to the mod. Then try and pull the sleeve off the base. It's just a press fit. It doesn't screw off. Since it's new the orings are probably dry so it might require a little effort. Try twisting the sleeve in the same direction as the thread to put the base on the mod. Use rubber band, paper towel - anything to help your grip. once you get it off you'll want to lube those orings with a little juice to make it easier.

hope this helps Also. I think you want it dry. Oils will make it difficult to grip. You ou also don't want to get oil in between the base of the RBA and the box. You don't want to add anything that could get in the path of the juice holes that come up from the squeeze bottle into bottom of RBA. dry it all up. Take off the chuff cap, the sleeve and take out the build deck. You should see the RBA base with the o-rings. You can use rubber bands as Tam suggests. Sometimes I use post it notes as they can give me a better grip. Just wrap the sticky side of the post it note around the base. Dry is better. You get a better grip.

Smoking cigarettes is bad for your health as it reduces oxygen, a necessary component in nutritional health. Ask your doctor what he/she thinks. Be honest with them in regard to your intentions to smoke. They can help you.

I think you are missing the main point. I agree that the FDA is not planning on banning vaping. In fact, the regulations are poised to allow big tobacco to take over the industry. That is the point. Aside from a couple of large vaping manufacturers, nearly everybody else will be wiped out, paving the way for big tobacco to market their cig-a-likes, and opening the doors back up to regaining the "sin taxes". The fact that we will be able to keep our vaping gear and it doesn't mean a whole lot of changes for those of us who are established vapers, doesn't change the fact that new vapers will have very little choice in products and I predict that the success rate of people using vaping to quit smoking will plummet. i don't mean to be doom and gloom. Vaping will survive. But bottom line, I think it is going to be less effective with regard to quitting cigarettes and all cost advantages will be removed thereby severely reducing it's efficacy.

Yes. That is what I'm talking about. sorry it's so complicated. But here is the simplest idea that you need to use with these complicated devices: you need to know what material your coil is made from (Ka- kanthal, Ni - nickel, Ti - Titanium, SS - stainless steel) and then match the mode in your battery to that coil. So it's important to know what coil you are using. If you do not match the modes with the coils you may get unpredictable results or different behaviors when you put your tank on different batteries.

Can you post the exact coil you are using in the Melo? do you know it's resistance? Do you know if it is a Temperature control coil? Your pico and your TC 40 have "mode" settings. Do you know if they are both on the same mode?

We know what's going to happen, right? As soon as they have successfully carried out this coo and decimated the ecig industry as we know it, we will suddenly start seeing reports about the virtues of vaping, the new test results, the "studies now show" articles.

Well, I'm happy to report all went well without the slightest hitch. The only thing I noticed was how upfront TSA was about it (specifically mentioning eliquid was to be presented for inspection as a liquid) and the flight attendants specifically stating that you could not use ecigs while on the flight. I packed my 18650 charger, about 150mils of eliquid, 4 full sub tank minis, and 3 cases of spare 18650's in my backpack. At the scanner I simply pulled out the case from my backpack (didn't bother opening it) and ran it thru the scanner without incident. On the return trip, I had bought a couple of 30ml bottles of some new flavors that I forgot to put in my case and left them in my carry on and not a peep. My conclusion for the time being is that nobody gives a rat's *** about ecig and hardware and it must be way more common now than ever. Even if regulations go in to effect, I don't think it will affect air travel. Incidentally, ecigs are flourishing in Florida. I saw quite a few B&Ms even in the small area I was in and the one I chose to visit was one of the best I've seen. Well stocked and a well informed staff.

Yep. Your body is in shock. You're detoxing and having wuthdrawls. I went cold turkey when I started vaping and those first couple of months were rough. I was lucky. Never took another cig but the body definitely went thru some changes. I wouldn't worry to much on the taste. It'll come.

Interesting problem. YOU HAVE VAPERS TONGUE! jk. But it might be true to some extent. The only other thing you might want to look in to is hydration. Your body needs fluids to keep all its working parts working. Vapibg definitely dehydrates you. And, as the nose is key to taste, you might want to look in to pouring on the coals to hydration to keep your sinuses clear. Do you have any cold or allergy symptoms? That could be a huge factor in taste. But honestly, if there is a downside to sub ohm vaping it would have to be flavor. There is something about low ohm vaping that really sacrifices flavor. At least, that is true for me. Im not sure of the science behind that but there is a trade off of sorts when it comes to subohming. Bigger clouds doesn't necessarily mean bigger flavor.

Let's back up... What tank and coil are you putting on it? Exact, please Are you saying it has never even powered up? That's unusual. Did you try powering it up without a tank on it? (3 clicks) Im asking because if your ohms are too low (below .4) it wont power up with that tank on it.

Ok cool. Sorry I'm traveling so my responses havent been quick. Yeah I get it on the different juices. I found a brazilian coffee juice that was amazing....aand it was a coil killer. I put up with it for about 6mos then finally gave it up because it was making me crazy. But some juices will do that.

I just meant that is a low ohm build which means lots of power and high heat. With really sweet and/or high vg juice its just about the best coil wrecker you can make. You can't have your cake and it eat it too. If youre going to run a low ohm coil and high heat they aren't going to last. It's like you bought a mustang GT and you're asking how to get better gas mileage. Change juices, experiment with different ohm builds. Have fun. How come you don't know how to figure out your power? How do you know if your build is safe and your batteries are rated high enough? Do you not use a calculator vape calculator like steam?

You don't say how many watts you are vaping at that is a pretty low ohm build for Kanthal. You don't have much choice but to build up your ohms or drop your wattage to get more life out of that coil. I assume you are reworking your cotton between builds. But either way I would bump the coils up to .8 each and start there. Otherwise you're going to have to suffer like the rest of us and keep building.

I just looked the AOI up as I hadn't heard of it. That's a pretty slick looking device. I kinda want one. Joye makes some great stuff.. i just wanted to add that sometimes specific juices pop more than others. I really don't know if it's the flavoring or what but some juices just really splatter. It might be related to PG content as well. Not scientific but I seem to notice that higher PG content liquid tends to splatter more or just thinner juice in general.

I'm comfortable with what I have accumulated and in no rush. If the deals are too good I may stash a couple of items but for now I'm not panicking and I don't think there's any reason to. BUT, for the first time I'm contemplating DIY juice. The last frontier in my vaping journey. No anxiety yet. I feel we have lots of time.
