The other two are up and down setting if you are running a .3 ohm coil in that Melo then you will need to set the power somewhere up in the 30 Watt range or higher to get it to work properly. I wouldn't be surprised if the Provari won't fire that coil. It's too low ohm. I don't think a 2 year old Provari will fire below 1 ohm coil. That's a guess but I'm pretty sure it won't fire a .3 coil and that's why you are getting the E1 code. That melo tank should fire on the Eleaf although that's probably right at the lower limit. Make sure the eLeaf is in power mode and not TC mode. Sorry to hear about your job. That sucks too.

I would try lowering the wattage to the 30watt range and bumping the temp up to 450. You may be putting too much power to that coil too quickly which just shuts it down before it has a chance to get going. Also Temp Control loves airflow so open up that airflow and give it a good pull. Hope that helps.

There is very little rhyme or reason. This is political and finacially motivated. It's that simple. P.S. i just saw an ad on TV for the "Logic Pro" e-cig. So Logic must be in for the haul. This is probably a good example of how it goes from here and a forecast of what's to come. The Logic Pro is basically an evod Ego set up with a "cartridge" which houses an atomizer and a few mils of liquid. Not refillable. Cartridges are sold in 5-packs for $10 and they only do a tobacco and a menthol. All proprietary. This is how they will survive the regs with minimal millions spent on approval. They must have submitted their applications. This is probably the model for what this industry will become.

Well. It would be smart to be wary of eBay suppliers. They have been known to cause a considerable amount of grief with consumers with counterfeit mods and tanks that are loaded with problems. Just a caution as we see so many complaints from those who have used eBay as a source of products. Not all, of course, but a significant number.

Asmodus makes a couple different models. It would help if you could tell us the model and also the tank. If if you've tried your friend's mod and like it AND you trust the supplier on eBay then go for it. Did your friend get his on eBay from the same supplier?

Can you post a link to the mod (battery holder) and tank? Or a full description?

Couple extra tips: Some juices spit more than others. Probably due to ingredients used. Especially with higher power devices. Using a juice with a higher VG content can help with this although I find that with some juices higher VG also mutes the flavor. Coils have a "break in" period which is usually pretty short - maybe 1/2 a dozen hits or more. They tend to spit a bit more at first. You can over prime a coil and excess juice on the coil will spit until the excess burns off. Turn up the power a little and use big air until the gurgle goes away then back it down. also, when the coil starts to go bad and gets gunked up and the cotton gets gunked the coil may start spitting more. If your "nurse" your hit too softly with low airflow or a timid draw the juice sits on the coil and pops and spatters. It feels counterintuitive, but if you do a strong pull increasing the airflow, you increase the evaporation rate and reduce spitting too. A low ohm coil, less than 1 ohm needs much more airflow to function properly. More airflow increase the vapor production.

Sorry Rich. Just realized you were on this and i butted in Yes. You can get any ssocc kanger coil (upgraded). They come in .5 and 1.2. You can also use the nickel coils .15 but you have to use Ni mode
