I use an eGo-C battery and Kanger T2. I also have an eGo twist. I know I can order replacement atomizers for the T2 in various ohms. Typically I have used 1.8 - 2ohms Given the same voltage setting I am assuming the atomizer with a lower resistance runs "hotter" than one of higher resistance. I'm guessing that vapor production is related to voltage across the resistance. In other words, to create the same vapor with a higher resistance I need to either boost the voltage, or, pull longer and hold the button longer. My question is, does higher resistance increase the life of my atomizer even though I may be sending more voltage through it to get the vapor? Or another way to think of it is, if I don't change the voltage do I get a "cooler" vape and longer atomizer life? Plus, don't I get the advantage of not frying my wicks with a cooler setting to give time for the juice to wick on to the coil? I may have to pull more or longer perhaps to achieve this. Am I thinking correctly with this? I want to know more about advantages/disadvantages of playing with voltage and resistance

I have 3 Kanger T2's now , my favorite so far. The pull (drawing of air through the atomizer) on these seems pretty natural. I dont find them too airy. But I have noticed that the various parts are not exactly precision fit so just make sure all th e pieces are nice and snug when I put them together. Sometimes i get to much air but I find the threads are a little sloppy battery to clearomizer and when I rethread and snug iit up i dont have any problems.

Lol, I just checked it out. They might be on to something over there. I couldn't find the hot buttered corn on the cob with salt and pepper. :-( But doesn't someone make a French bread? I'll start with tomato soup and cracked pepper Caesar salad (I know someone is working on this somewhere) The roast beef (medium rare please) Mashed potato (if they can do tomato soup they can do potato) Strawberry cheesecake Keoke coffee Oh no. I'm backsliding. Now I want a cigarette haha :-)

I just ordered a small batch of stuff from Vape Dudes....yeah and I'm sure I'm not done yet. :-). I will probably go and order a few more things from a couple of other vendors as trials - SweetVapes and maybe EC. And then I'll make a few adjustments and reorder and get off this merry-go-round for a while, lol I gotta say so far my favorite is gourmet Vapes but I'm very concerned over the heavy coloring they use. The Ocean Spray cran-grape is amazingly accurate on taste but it is literally deep purple in color. The Keoke Coffee is just this side of black. And I don't know if I'm crazy or not but I swear I perceived an improvement in taste in all of my juices from GV in just a few days. Juices I'd really like to see: Beef Jerky Ham and Split Pea Mashed potatoes and gravy Hmmm....maybe I'm just hungry....

bcarter is essentially correct. However if you smoked lights cigarettes could be as little as 16 mg per pack. You can google your old smokes anf figure out their nic content. Then buy the equivalent strength in ejuice. The mg rating on the e-jjuice is per ml. There are debates on whether we vapers absorb nic at the same rate. I think not and thats just my opinion. Most of us prob vape a little more than we smoked "by the numbers". I smoked full flavor tobacco filters pack a day and i vape around 2ml per day at 24mg. Sometimes a bit more. I tend to vape heavily first part of day and taper off sometimes switching to a lower nic content. Keep in mind i'm just a guy on the internet with an opinion. Pay attention to your body when you vape. It will tell you a lot. I suggest starting at lower levels and working up. You'll know when your satisfied.

I have tried liquids from a few places in a variety of mixes. I am a newbie and still figuring it out. My sweet spot seems to be 70/30 18 - 24 mg nic. I started and got off analogs using tobacco flavors but now moving away from that. I realize my tastes are changing as are my taste buds after 30+ years of smoking :-) so I try not to be overly critical. It is Vapor - our local shop. All they make is 60/40 in various nic strengths. The menu is somewhat limited. But.... It's tough to beat a friendly atmosphere, amazing help, and the ability to taste test on the spot. I really wish I could "build my own". I can't always get exactly what I want on the spot but on-line is cool. Platinum Vapes - another shop. Only make 50/50. Lots of flavors and ability to taste test. Just not satisfied with 50/50 right now. 50/50 for me is all bark and no bite. Ordered a ton of stuff from Madvapes. It's "steeping" as it's just about all unvapable. Jury still out Gourmet Vapes - ok, now we're getting somewhere. All 5 flavors i ordered passable with the exception of the cherry which is very much like a cough drop. Juices heavily colored. That worries me. I don't need the color. Their Keoke Coffee has moved to top of my list. Will probably order more of that I have discovered that ratio pg/vg, nic levels, flavor strengths and equipment all effect flavors and I have spent hours deciphering reviews of juices. I understand flavors are subjective but when one reviewer raves about a flavor and the very next one calls it a dirty dish rag you have to wonder....

My wife loves a straight vanilla from "It Is Vapor" but they only do 60/40 pg/vg so not much help there I guess. I personally cannot vape vanilla. It just doesn't do it for me. I have tried it and it's a very good no frills vanilla but she does 12mg juice and I'm learning how much nic levels affect taste so I cannot speak for other nic levels in the It Is Vapor shop.

A 50ml bottle of 100% pg combined with your 50ml mistake juice will get you 65/35. Pretty close and very acceptable. Should be a decent throat hit from that

Hi. Patricia If you order 80/20 and mix 2/3 of that with 1/3 of your mistake juice that will give you a 70/30 mix that you really wanted in the first place. Still a good deal Make sense?

I would like to know a couple of things based on your experience. Roughly what percentage of the time that you order new juices are they great right out of the box? What vendors give you consistantly good juices? What are your experiences with ordering new juices?

Adding 90/10 would give you a 60/40 ratio. Fun with math! Given equal amounts...

Mix away! I'm a mixer too. Not always with success but it's fun Nicotine levels in e-juice are measured by the millilitre (ml) When you buy "24mg" juice that means there are 24 milligrams of nicotine in 1 ml of juice. A 10ml bottle has 240 mg of nicotine. When you fill your 1ml tank with "24mg" juice you have 24mg of nic in the tank. If you vape 1ml of juice you have consumed 24mg of nic. Now take your 1ml tank and fill half way with "24mg". That is 12mg of nic. Now fill the other half with "12mg" juice. That would be 6mg of nic in half a ml. Your tank now has 12 + 6 mgs or the eqivalent of "18mg" juice. I used "1ml tank" to make the math easier to see. In real life you have a 1.6ml clearomizer or a 2.2 tank (capacity) The key factor in nicotine consumption is volume of juice vaped. I'll my old ciggys as an example: Amer Spirit Black- 2.2mg nic per cig = 44mg nic per pack 1.6 ml clearo loaded with "24mg" juice = 38mg nic per tank means I can vape about 2ml of "24mg" to be equivalent to a pack. Math is fun! All of that is to say if you are mixing 2 different "mg" juices you are always getting less than the highest rated mg juice

Patricia- I have all Joyetec eGo batteries and they all perform well. I get through most of the day on a 650 but the 900 is pretty good for heavy vape days. Recently I got a 1000mah variable voltage and its cool but I'm still experimenting with it. I'm finding that some juices taste a little better with a little more voltage. So far it's been pretty consistent. My wife has a couple eGo knock off batteries and the voltage drops when the battery starts to run lower than 50%. I don't seem to have that problem with the Joyetec batteries. The voltage is pretty consistent to the end of the charge. Bcartervol98- I can't get over how wild and variable the juices seem to be, lol. You can't pay me to vape the vanillas but I'm a coffee flavor nut. So far the coffee variations are my favorites but I'm still searching for the holy grail, lol. What got me off analogs was Liqua traditional tobacco. I enjoyed that for a while then began mixing cherry in to it and that was pretty good. I tried a bunch of other flavors but favored some mochas, cappuccino and other coffee flavors and they are my main vapes. My wife got a strawberry/lemonade. All I taste is strawberry and all she tastes is the lemonade! I have found that no matter what people say and no matter what the description says I have to try it to really find out. After reading great reviews and comments about one particular vendor we ordered 10 different juices from this vendor and found them all unvapable! Terrible! It doesn't make sense. I have more or less resigned myself to experimenting and forking over the cash to check out different juices. I'm like a mad scientist over here mixing different juices. It's crazy. I just want to find a few good flavors and settle in with them. At least I can say I'm smoke free and that makes me very happy! Now, I have to get back to the lab....I just got a small sample shipment from Gourmet Vapes...muah ha ha!

Patricia, Isn't it amazing? I never would have believed I could quit ciggys. I am really happy. Recently I have switched to a Kanger T2 tank very similar to a Clearomizer but I like the performance a little better. I am likely to stick with this for a while. I'm off the tobacco favors completely-just something I wanted to do because I want to get away from "smoking"- but I'm not a real fan of the "too sweet" juices so now I like basic coffee favors, nutty flavors. I'm still on a search for a couple perfect flavors for variety. I must admit my wife pulled out a licorice the other day that was amazing but a little too candy for regular vaping for me. Bcarter, You could start a business. I live in a fairly large metropolitan area and really there are only 2 convenient vape stores near me so I feel for you that you can't just pop over and check out stuff. No doubt the industry will change and likely be more regulated in the future but I think it's here to stay. From what I read its just too successful to disappear. People are quitting, doing less damage to themselves and others and improving the quality of their lives. Go for it. You'll be the only gig in town!

Hi Patricia I was a fairly heavy smoker. American Spirits black pack a day. Your success will depend on a couple of things. Find a local Vapor retailer that is fairly well stocked and has knowledgeable people. They will help you try out and experience different devices and juices. It may take finding a couple of places and choosing a place that works for you. I have found that 1 place does not necessarily carry everything that is available. Often times they only carry one blend of juices and they may not be right for you. Find an actual vapor store, not a mall shop or a liquor store that sells e-cigs. Find a nicotine level that satisfies you. This may take some experimenting but you might want to start at 18 or 24 and work down from there. Try various mixes of PG/VG. This will help deliver the flavor and the "throat hit" that you are used to from regular cigarettes. I found it important to simulate smoking as much as possible at the beginning with a big throat hit and a good tobacco flavor. Keep your purpose in mind for quitting cigarettes. Whatever that is for you. Go all in. It doesn't have to cost a fortune to get started but keep in mind that it is an investment and it worked for me to jump in and go for it. Keep reading and asking questions and seeing what other people use and do. I started with a basic eGo C starter kit. I was able to quit cold turkey with that. My wife started with a Blu-cig kit and she faltered for a while as it didnt quite give her the satisfaction she needed and then went to an eGo kit and she has now quit completely. If I knew then what I know now I would have started with an eGo battery 900 mah and a Clearomizer. Hey, these are just tips from a newbie. Hope it helps. I'm just saying what worked for me

I am relatively new here and I'm still experimenting heavily. I have been off analogs completely for 6 weeks now and it's amazing. I started with an eGo C set up with a cartomizer which was a fine start and got me off the analogs. Then I switched to the iclear 16 which gave me better performance and I loved that but I had some minor problems with the quality. I tried a T3 tank which was pretty close to disastrous as I had leak problems and taste issues that I couldn't really get over. Then a friend recommended the T2 and I have reached a plateau now that I am VERY happy with. Short wick and 2.0 res atomizer. I have been very happy with my Joyetec eGo batteries that have been solid performers , one a variable. I'm really happy with T2. Great vape, great flow and taste. And I love the "pull". Very natural. My whole game now is finding the right juices. Nowhere have I found more inconsistency than in the juices themselves. Still searching for that right combination of pg/vg and nic. All in all though, I couldn't be happier that I'm finally off the analogs. 6 weeks and counting. All is good

See? You learn something new every day. Good suggestions all, thank you . I'm not that fond of the fruitier juices. I tend to go for the coffees, mochas, etc. which may partially explain why I don't get a lot of life out of a coil.

Hello vapo wizards. Last weekend I bought a T3 tank which I am using with my eGo C battery. Generally I have been using the iclear 16 clearomizer up until then and I like it overall. I found I had to keep the iclear topped off to keep the best vape and flavor so decided to try a bottom coil T3. 1. I'm not getting the best vapor from the T3. It's marginally satisfying. I'm using exact same juice - a 60/40. I'm thinking I need to go with a variable battery so I can boost the current. I believe the T3 has a 2.5 ohm res. 2. Exact same juice and the flavor is significantly different. What could cause this? I mean the flavor is there but diminished and there's a slight different after taste. I didnt expect the flavor to be so sensitive to the change. Any suggestions? This reminds me of a car I owned when I started upgrading performance mods. It never ends does it? :-)

I'm interested to know how it went. I'm flying to PA in a couple of weeks and I would love to vape on the plane if I can.
