Hi ladybug. Welcome to the forum. Yes, you came to the right place. Pretty friendly here with lots of great discussion without much argument. You can help some of us Noobs out, so I look forward to your contribution.

Well, security at San Francisco didn't bat an eye. I had my whole kit in my backpack, which includes 2 complete setups, and 4 extra clearomizers with a packet of coils and a bottle of juice. While waiting for the plane, I just moved to a quieter location away from the crowd and didn't make a big deal out of it and vaped away. It was interesting. We changed planes in Atlanta. I had never been to Atlanta airport. They have "smoking rooms". It was a little weird. My wife and I decided to just use the smoking room to vape in - when in Rome, ya know. It was actually pretty disgusting. This is the first time I was around smokers like this since I quit. There were maybe a dozen guys in there. The first thing was the smell. Wow, even with the ventilation fans going it was pretty bad. Then I just noticed that most of these people looked depressed and kind of sickly and it struck me oddly. 2 months ago, I don't think I would have thought anything of it. These rooms are all glass. You feel like you're in a cage. At one point i could see this older couple approaching the glass doors, they stop at the door and the women fiddles in her purse, comes up with a cig and then comes in to the room with us. The husband stays outside the glass. She's got some kind of 100's and she starts puffing away. On the other side of the glass the husband is patiently waiting for her to finish. Once in a while he looks in toward her and she holds up the ciggy showing him where she is on it. This goes on for a few minutes and I feel for him. I'm so glad my wife and I are doing this together.

Well there's good news..... After a few adjustments, mainly smaller hits and a little break in period he's doing fine. He thinks it was just the initial abrupt change from smoke to vape. After playing with it on his own it took him a couple of days to get it going. The other day he just showed up happily vaping away like it was nothing. I'm glad he just kept going. Now he's doing fine and is on the hunt for his favorite juice, lol. All is good...

Tomorrow I vape Tomorrow I get on a plane Tomorrow I vape on a plane. I will be discreet for sure. It's a long flight so I plan to get a couple of Vapes in there...

Okay, cool. I see your point. But is it not also true that the amount of time expended in operating the battery would be a significant part of the equation? How would you measure that? Practically speaking if I use a 2.4 ohm resistance on the same battery (voltage constant) vs a 1.8 coil, I have that battery activated for 2 or 3 times as long to produce approx the same amount of vapor. I'm not arguing the Electical laws, I'm just curious about adding the time in to the equation

All great advice. Thank you to all. We're looking in to it. I think it's a combination of a lot of these and mostly maybe psychological. Well we're going to try and play around with flavors and mixes and see what we can do. He's willing to try. Plus he's motivated. Another friend has been off ciggys for almost 2 weeks now. It's a regular epidemic, lol. Since my wife and I started almost 2 months ago now, we have recommended the e-cig to 13 people, all friends and acquaintances. Of those 13 over half are full vapers now, others have cut way back and only one has fully reverted back to cigs.

Me too. I have been baffled by this. Even from the person sitting next to me, lol. I thought about this when I posted my review on vape dudes. I was just excited to finally get some great flavors after trying bunches. Honestly I feel bad if someone takes my word and then finds they hate it although based on what I've tried I find that hard to believe. But it really is subjective and amazingly so. However I just cracked open the Island Coconut from Vapedudes and I will update my review just to be complete. Hint: cue ukelele..

Yeah. It's weird. I never went through this He appears to be taking a normal drag - brings it in to his mouth first neither too fast or too much but immediately rejects it on inhale. Maybe try pg Oh, and he is a menthol smoker but i didnt have any menthol if that means anything.

Is there such a thing as some device for mixing a small amount of juice. I guess i could use a cap and then maybe a syringe without the needle or something. Where woulfd I look for such things? There is something I'm not getting about this I want to direct drip strictly for the purpose of trying out flavor mixes. I have an eGo battery with the C set up- atomizer, cone and cart What parts do I need? I dont see how this atomizer can work for dripping. Any suggestions on specific parts to use would be great. Ive watched Christophers video but I dont understand how that converts to the eGo.

I have a friend. Experienced smoker. I've recently turned him to the e-cig. He cannot take a puff without coughing. He does not do that with analogs. I've watched him and he doesn't appear to be doing anything unusual on the inhale. He just cannot take a drag without coughing. Tried different juices. It's baffling. Any ideas?

Most of what i have read suggests 2 years shelf life but i suppose how it is kept is a significant factor. I dont think nic degrades as far as potency. If you have a local shop get some flavorless and mix it

4 out of 5 juices right out of the box - Bam! Hello strawberry Fields - 70/30 standard flavor 16mg Okay, now that's Strawberry. No candy here. Tastes like you picked a fresh ripe one right from God's soil and didn't even wash it off. Mother Earth herself would be proud. I swear the juice was dripping down my chin. This one's a winner. Mocha Java Drizzle - 70/30 double flavor 16mg I like my coffee flavors and this one delivers. Intense coffee flavor with just a hint of dark chocolate. I really enjoyed that the coffee wasn't too heavily masked and this is not a sweet flavor. It's dark and smoky and rich and really more like a good cup of black coffee from a great bean. Terrific. This is now officially my all dayer. I think this would have been fine in standard flavor. Halfway through my first tank I cut it with some flavorless and it was still talking to me. Very nice Pumpkin Spice - 70/30 standard flavor 16mg Nice spice with an undertone of pumpkin. Another winner. I got this to surprise my wife because she's been asking for a pumpkin. Spicy on the front and pumpkin on the back. Perfect. She digs it. we'll see more of this. I think this would make a good mixing juice. Dudeaccino (naturals) - 70/30 extra flavor 16mg Okay, very good flavor. I think the extra flavor was a mistake on this one. I wanted it to tone down and smooth out some coffee flavors but the extra flavor made it a little heavy on the cream. This one might improve with a little time. Ever so slightly perfumey with very little coffee flavor. Not bad but not great....yet Island coconut (naturals) - 70/30 standard flavor I haven't made it this far! Haven't even opened it yet. I bought this as a coconut flavoring to mix with other juices. When I find an opening in a Clearomizer I'll give it a shot. I'll edit this post with the result Overall vape dudes scores big time with competent natural flavoring, not overly sweet. Bonus points for relatively clear juices. Mocha Java was the darkest in an amber tone. The others, nearly clear. I don't know why, it just makes me feel better. I don't need the coloring, just the flavor. It wasn't what I'd call fast delivery so I'd be patient with this. I think 7 days from Texas to California, order to doorstep. It was worth the wait.

I think the Vision will be my next battery. I had to laugh at the "drumstick" comment. That's exactly how my eGo 1000mah feels.

Both sound like winners. I like the waffle, grape and peanut butter idea. Sounds awesome I tried the obvious - peanut butter and chocolate toffee Fail :-( The peanut butter squashed the chocolate or something. Oddly enough it tasted like neither, lol coming up with the right combination of quantities is harder than I thought. I'll play with it a little bit more before I go to sleep. But it is strange how two awesome flavors did not make a good marriage. I mixed about half and half...

Going to PA next week and see what they can teach me there. Gonna make a stop in Cleveland at the Rock n Roll hall of fame while im there. Surely they vape in Cleveland? Well...I'll bring plenty of juice with me

My vapedudes is still not here! Of course, i had to go and order some juice across the holiday so I'm cutting them some slack... :-) Yeah it left texas on wednesday. Must be on the stagecoach to californy. Hope the bandits don't get it...

Local shop. New flavor. Not bad.... bought 15 ml. Kinda think it woyld make a good mix juice. What should I mix it with??? For now I'll vape it straight up!

Grant - yes, bcarter meant the coils. The coil and the wicks come as one unit together that is replaceable. The coil is what burns up after a couple of weeks. Different juices seem to affect coil life, also how you vape. On average they should last you a couple weeks and maybe 4 if you're lucky. When you buy the Clearomizer it comes with a coil installed. Just buy a pack of coils (recommend 1.8 - 2ohm) in addition to the Clearomizer and when you burn up a coil, you just take the Clearomizer apart and screw a new coil on and you're good to go. I have only cracked one Clearomizer but that was because I stuffed it in my jeans pocket. I have heard that Clearomizers crack with certain juices but its never happened to me. The eGo CC or T2 seemed to be more sturdy than the CE4+. Either are fine starting out. You will figure it out.

That's great Skeeter. Keep it up. It's completely worth it. You and I have had similar success. I had a few cigs left in a pack on my desk when I cracked open my new eGo kit, took a few drags threw out the pack and haven't looked back. That was 6 weeks ago. I'm still amazed. Great thanks, the holiday must have slowed the mail. Expecting my first order frrom vape dudes all in 70-30. Im still looking for a good solid all day vape.

Grant - if the starter kit has 2 batteries go for it. You will get to begin vaping right away with some satisfying results for That kit is 3 pieces - battery,atomizer, tank which is the mouth piece. It will perform adequately but youwill likely find you want a little better performance. To get that performance you will get a different atomizer-tank set up called a clearomizer. Recommend you get the Vision V2, or the Kanger T2 or the iclear16 or CE4+ , all different names for the clearomizer. They will replace just the atomizer and tank of your eGo kit. They will attach directly to your battery but be more efficient, better vape, last longer. The ones i listed are all "rebuildable". You only need to replace the atomizer, sometimes referred to as the coil. Its simple and cost effective. Make sure you get the rebuildable because the look the same as a disposable
