Welcome! That's a good start and you can upgrade to a Clearomizer later. The first key will be to find a good e liquid to vape. Most likely you will want a tobacco flavor to begin with. I used Liqua Traditional Tobacco to start with. There are some others Good luck and happy vaping! You can do it. I didn't think it was possible but it is.

My latest creation- 60% peanut butter, 30% Strawberry fields, 10% waffle. I think I'll bump up the waffle a little bit over the peanut butter but this one's good! Just like mom used to make! Good afternoon snack

Starbuckets Mocha Java - SweetVapes....mmmm

Yes, I haven't found a great vape to go with a beer. Honestly smoking along with having a beer was par for the course in the past. The coffee flavors definitely don't go with a beer. I'm thinking I'll have to try a nutty flavor or maybe even break down and try that pizza vape I saw somewhere. Oh no, another e liquid quest, lol.....

I find my tastes changing more frequently than I thought I would. Before, smoking analogs, I wouldn't even change brands because I wanted "that" flavor and other brands did not do it for me. I thought it would be the same with vaping but that is not the case. I find myself flipping flavors frequently, 3 or 4 different flavors a day, sometimes 5. In the beginning, vaping tobacco flavors got me off analogs quickly. Then I switched to coffee flavors to get away from tobacco (and I haven't gone back to tobacco flavors at all). The coffee flavors seemed great because they weren't too sweet and in fact I did not enjoy any fruity flavors for a while. Lately they have grown on me and I find I can vape strawberry, peach, melon, and really enjoy it but I have to say the coffees are still my main vape. But, I do get tired of vaping one flavor all day and find switching it out keeps me happy.....for now, lol.

My Wife got an order from Sweet-Vapes just before the weekend so we've tried out some new flavors. I won't review them other than to say they were all decent and quite vapable. Juicy peach, cinnamon roll, Spearmint, Chocolate truffle. I digress.... This is the first time I have ever paired a flavor. The cinnamon roll by itself was good. Perfectly acceptable and enjoyable. A little "bready" but not bad. But when I took a sip of coffee and then vaped it, Wow! It came alive. I'm not kidding, it was significantly better. I was quickly addicted and now I have to vape the cinnamon roll with coffee. I tried vaping it through the day but it just wasn't the same. Again not bad, but I was amazed how the combination was outstanding. But then I thought, the only time my wife has ever struggled through this process is when she has a glass of wine. I mean the first words out of her mouth after we tip a glass is "oh my god, I want a cigarette". Fortunately, she has some tobacco flavor vape and that totally does it for her. But again, she loves the pairing of wine and tobacco flavors. It's funny, I don't have the same thought at all. I'm happy to have a beer or a glass of wine without vaping. In fact I don't enjoy the combination of sweet and alcohol. I guess that was a bit long-winded, lol. I'm interested to hear about other's "pairings". It's kind of added a whole new dimension to this thing.

I am south of San Francisco in the foothills about 30 minutes from Santa Cruz and Halfmoon Bay. 49ers, Giants, and Sharks. Lots of outdoor stuff and great weather and not too far to get away from it all - Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Monterey. Damn...now I want to go fishing...
-
Not a huge college football fan...I catch games here and there. But maybe you should start a fishing thread. Nice sized crappie. You pull those out of a local lake? I'm not far from the coast and my favorite is deep sea. The salmon fishing is getting better locally. I'm going out in a couple of weeks. Lots of rock cod, ling and halibut. We don't have great lake fishing nearby (about 3 or 4 hours is best). The Sierras are about 4 hours out and great river and stream fishing there.

I noticed this too. In my car withe air conditioning on its different than outside. It makes sense since it is vapor and you would get different amounts of vapor with different humidities.
-
I have noticed this too and at first I thought it was pg to vg ratio but after trying different combinations, that doesn't appear to be it. The only thing I can think of is flavorings as mcquinn has mentioned. It must have something to do with the way the flavorings burn off. I have noticed that my coffee flavors tend to only hold up when I keep the tank above half. They actually taste better with longer pauses in vaping while my other flavors I can just vape away. It's interesting

Outstanding! Great story. I'm happy for your dad and happy for you as you clearly are diggin' the vaping papa

RIP JG... That's just way too young. Great actor.

Just put in another order. I'm giving the spearmint a spin along with a couple of other coffees and a watermelon. Oh yeah, more pumpkin spice and strawberry fields. BIG bottles this time. I should be good for a while, lol. My wife put in a sweet Vapes order too. Gonna be a good summer!

I live in a large metropolitan area and I don't run in to many vapers in my travels except for the occasional stop at a vape store (there are 3 fairly near by) which always seem to be packed with people. I have referred quite a number of people to vaping and most are sticking with it and I see them regularly. My wife and I have personally gotten about 8 - 10 people to quit smoking in the last 2 months and they love it. It's a huge success for us. I'm looking forward to it being more common and it seems to be headed that way.

I vape all over the place, some places more discreetly than others. Love to vape when I drive. I have to watch it on long drives because I no longer have a gauge (a cigarette). I tend to chain vape in a car.

My 1000mah lasts me maybe 24hrs and I would say I'm a heavy vaper. I also carry 3 batteries which I rotate so I'm never without (gawd forbid!) my batteries are just over 2 months old and seem to be as strong and durable as when I bought them. My Joyetec batteries seem to put out the same voltage all the way to discharge. I have an Evod battery that drops off voltage the last 15% of its life which is slightly annoying because I tend to vape it to death just so it will die and I can charge it.
-
This is what I have learned in a nutshell..... You can't beat the Kanger T2's for a low cost, good performance Clearomizer. With my Joyetec batteries, the pull is not airy at all, in fact, it is a little tight but not bad. With an Evod battery the pull is a little airy but I have to draw a little differently - not suck so hard. Both are acceptable. I have not tried the Vision batteries yet. Probably will when it's time for a new one. If the pull is too tight, milkshake tight, then I'm holding down the button too long and it tends to burn out the flavor a little and shorten the coil life. I found that backing off the battery just a nudge (I mean physically loosening it just a hair) improves a tight pull. There is definitely a "sweet spot" on pull that gives just the right amount of resistance and awesome vapor production and flavor. The quality control factor on all of these devices is not to a standard I would expect, but then I am mixing and matching various clearos and batteries. I have found a little tweaking is necessary to get the best performance. I have found the T2's to have the best wicking action over the C4's and iclears in general. The C4 styles just don't seem to wick as well and lead to dry hits. My favorite combination is a Joyetec variable Ego battery with a Kanger T2. I have found that i like certain juices a little "hotter" (more voltage) than others and the variable battery gives me this. They will keep me happy for a long while.....or until one of you discovers the next best thing, lol

CE4+ was the first version that had a replaceable coil
-
If I remember correctly the CE4 does not come apart at all. The CE4+ does come apart and the CE5 is the latest. Sounds a little fishy..hmmmm
-
Are you sure theree is a coil head installed?. The CE5 has a coil head with wicks that install on the top just below the mouth piece. Make sure its screwed in tight too. Check your battery connection too
-
I have gotten a couple dud clearomizers or atomizers before.
-
Thanks Tam, I'll check it out

Sorry. I went on vacation and got distracted.... I found some 306's but they come "bridged" and "debridged". Any preferences? What does that mean?

Nothing major to report on the return trip. Again, no problems with security at any airport. On the flight back to SFO I vaped in my seat. I took smaller drags to minimize the vape and did not flaunt it. Nobody said anything. All in all, pretty uneventful.
