  1. ] As promised.L - R Ego 900maH pass through with Kkanger T2 Ego 650mah with 510 carto for dripping Ego twist 1000maH with smoketek Octopus drip chamber
  2. Yeah. Look for thread "vaping on a plane"
  3. You probably scorched rhe wick. In my opinion 4.4 v on a little clearo is to high. Once you scorch the wick it loses its ability to wick juice and now you are just tasting scorched wick. You should change clearos to replaceable coil version or clean your clearo more often. Especially if you are a heavy vaper and are prone to continually hitting that thing (known as "chain vaping") with too high of voltage you get great vapor production at first but are prone to "dry hits" and thus scorching. Once you've scorched it, your done.
  4. Batteries: i recommend Joyetech brand ego c twist or Vision Spinner. Seem to have good reliability. Minimum 900 maH (size and life). If size an issue go to 650 maH.
  5. Great review/comparison. Very thorough with lots of great information. I know Ive decided to stick with my T2s for now. Especially since it's the perfect portable set up for me. I have recently tried out a couple of dripping systems that are great when I'm home relaxing.(it has now replaced my T2 as my "at home" set-up. Cant beat the flavor and vapor production). But, for ease of use its hard to beat the T2
  6. oops. change advisor to atomizer in last post oops. change advisor to atomizer in last post
  7. okay. you're probably even more confused now laugh out loud.I'm going to try to make this as simple as possible. You have an eGo T. that is a three-piece system. a battery, an atomizer, and a tank. in your system, you will have to change the atomizer which is located just above the battery. your tank when you plug it in is essentially plugging into the atomizer. a cartomizer, it's a two piece system where the tank and the atomizer are in one unit. dripping is a method that requires a different set up then you have. If you are experiencing a burnt taste then likely you will have to change your advisor which you should have got in your kit it's a small round cylindrical piecethat fits just above your battery. in your system, you're atomizer should last you 1 or 2 weeks. you will normally have to change your atomizer once every couple of weeks. its not that what you have been told in this thread is incorrect. there is just a lot there that is a bit much for a newbie to grasp. Read kitsunes post 4 links to figure out how to upgrade your system to a little better performance. Good luck!
  8. When you can snahtch the drip tip from my hand, young grasshopper, you will be ready Edit: that's funny. It wouldn't accept the word sn@tch when I typed it.
  9. It bugs me that the pockets are not oriented the same way but its a great case.
  10. Can you take it apart from the bottom? Is this the replaceable coil version of the CE 4? Hard to see in that picture. The little silicone piece that caps the coil may have slid upward towards the tip
  11. "I have only had person ever ask or tell me to stop vaping. And this was at the public library. It was an elderly librarian and I swear the look on her face was that of horror," I would have paid good money to see that!
  12. Uma posted a good video on how to fix a leaking T3. Short story: if the wicks don't fill the gap where they emerge from the coil housing, extra juice can slip by and flood the coil. This is corrected by adding an additional wick called a "flavor wick" that passes over the top of the coil as not part of the wick that threads thru the coil. Sounds more complicated than it is and is relatively easy to do....but you need some wicking material on hand.
  13. Nice sampler, Tam. Let us know what you think of EC blends. Haven't ordered there yet
  14. It's mostly about location for me. I'm never discreet when it's not warranted. Outside a pub in public no problem. I'm only discreet where I think I will be interrupted unnecessarily. It's not about conflict avoidance. It's about not wanting to be sidetracked or slowed down from doing what I'm doing at the time. I don't want to be asked to leave a movie theater nor have to explain what I'm doing or defend myself during the movie. I don't want to unnecessarily disturb or create a commotion with 60 other passengers on an airplane. I don't want to flaunt my e-cig in front of other parents and their kids at the park or zoo. I don't want security called on me at a street fair. There are lots of times when it's appropriate to be discreet.
  15. My coils last 2 - 3 weeks, but to prolong their life I have found that periodic cleaning, even if you are just using the same flavor, helps. I don't do anything fancier than every few days pulling the coil, rinsing it thoroughly with hot water including gently working the wicks drying it off and setting it on a window sill for a day. Meanwhile, I just load up a new coil, fill 'er up and vape for a few days, then do the same thing but swap in the older coil. They last for weeks like this. I have found that if you don't clean the coils while they're still working, the juice (probably the sweeteners in the juice ) gunk up the wick, essentially carmelize on the wick. The coil is fine, but if you let the wick gunk up it doesn't flow to the coil as well so you basically burn up the coil because the juice is not wicking. My method keeps the wicks wicking and the coil happy and I can cycle through coils quite a few times. Having said that, I have also experienced bad coils that don't seem to last at all. One shorted out completely after one day. There is something to be said for the quality and there is the occasional dud or poor performer. But even rotating a couple of clearos I go for weeks without throwing out coils. Hope that helps
  16. I think I bought the last box of short wicks and I'm down to my last one..... noooooooooooooo!
  17. Hey Arnie Yeah I was hoping to make it clear that i wasnt attacking you personally for your point if view but merely commenting in your awesome topic. I agree with many of your points and you make intelligent arguments. As pleasure vapirs leading a healthier lifestyle we simetimes forget there are moral issues with what we do and so therefore responsibilty increases with our choices.
  18. My wife experienced a little bit of this. I did not. Same juice. Same gear. All i can say is it did pass after a couple of weeks for her.
  19. Im going to line uo my rigs and post a group shot later when I get home. There is a pic of my octopus dripping set up (withe the collar) on my post "noobie trying to post a pic"
