  1. Yeah, bcarter, sounds like you just need to tone 'em down a little bit. Or, you could let the medic do it
  2. The T2 is awesome. A great performer. I use mine daily. They're cheap because they're popular and they make a million of them. But they don't perform cheaply, that's for sure. When I use a low resistance coil (1.8) they tend to pop, especially with certain juices. I'm assuming that's what you mean by pop. A crackling sound when you vape.
  3. I'm using a standard ohmmeter I believe i'm measuring by touching the center post and then the outside ring. (Looking inside the clearomizer where battery connects.) Does it matter if the tank is full? The reason I'm doing this is to isolate what coils to buy based on vaping experience. Every once in a while I just get that right combination of juice, coil, and voltage and I just want to know what it is. Also recently I recieved some coils marked 2.4 but they measured 2.0 and 2.1 How likely will resistance change with the span of coil life?
  4. Yeah, good luck with that, lol Somebody out there is inventing something really cool that going to put a hurt on our wallets in a couple months..
  5. Well it's been a few days now and ever since I swapped the coils out in the Vision Victory tanks I haven't had one issue with leaking. They seem to be doing fine. I still think it's a great little unit with just a marginal nose up on performance over the Kanger T2. The T2's are work horses though. Hard to beat them. They have been trouble free for me for months now.
  6. I was wondering if the o-rings were a standard size. I can figure it out and Orchard sells o-rings by size and I can just grab a bag. I think I would prefer a ceramic tip. I dont have taste issues with metal but i find ceramic or delrin more comfortable
  7. Ok. Before I pull the trigger on the Davide... Mini or not the mini, that is the question. In the reviews I read the drip tip is too loose. Experiences?
  8. There is a stamp engraved in the bottom end cap. Not all knock-offs are bad. Some are better than others. My genuine joye-tech ego battery also comes off the charger alrready on.
  9. I find the comraderie really builds and builds. In my usual social group there are now more vapers than smokers. Vaping is definitely catching on, lol. And i do have compassion for smokers, I was one for too many years to adopt a "Holier than thou" attitude. I do find it more difficult to be around smokers but only because of the stench. - it's awful, aand I don't like breathing it anymore if I can avoid it, which I can. But because of the benefits of vaping I am compelled to bring it up because it's a good purpose. I'm not a militant ex-smoker but I do like to help my fellow man out if I can.
  10. This is an interesting philosophical point. One thing we vapers all have in common is a renewed sense of smell. It it's a very dramatic thing, realizing how badly we must have smelled in our analog days. It is literally shocking. Smokers know they stink. They buy gum and they use perfumes and colognes, breath mints, mouthwash etc. I knew intellectually that I didn't smell great but I didn't find out how offensive it was til I quit. I mean everything about me stunk. My clothes, my hair, my car, my fingers.... Yet, I had to quit to REALLY find that out. To me it's a really significant aspect of quitting. One that, is not easily argued with a smoker. I physically recoil now from someone that I can smell cigs on. But it's an intensely personal thing. It should be easy to tell a friend they stink. It's not .......and even if it is in their best interest, but then, maybe it's only in my best interest.....I'm the one that is offended.
  11. Have you tried any other Fuzion flavors?
  12. Ok. So maybe this vendor was doing me a service. I measured the resistance of the coils and one came out 2.1 and the other 2.0. Its quite possible they confirmed the resistance no matter the markings and sent me what I asked for. Pretty cool, actually
  13. Cann you post a pick of your e-cig holders?? Or a link...
  14. She said it...not me , dude ROFL
  15. Thats interesting. Even if I turn my battery off before I put on the charger, when it's done charging the battery is on. I always have to make the point of turning off my battery after charging.
  16. Alas.....many of us weren't born with that gene....
  17. Dude, that thing looks ready to blast off to the moon! I clearly need to update my rig....
  18. Lol! Okay, I'm sharing that story. Thanks, CJ
  19. Ok. I have to get one of those now, dang it Rixter lol
  20. Yeah he's not ready yet for sure. But at least he's looking at it. Rixter - well its a start! But maybe that's what he needs - a real showpiece. Not exactly a Harley Davidson lighter but def a showpiece
  21. Lol, okay before you all dogpile on me here, let me explain my provocative post I have a friend who just thinks vaping is not macho enough. Believe me he's the nicest guy you'd wanna meet, honest, but he does view vaping as kind of nerdy and I kind of get his point. He just cant seem to get past this one aspect of it. He does see that there are health benefits but he can't picture himself with all the fancy gear. He's kind of a Marlboro Man, ya know? Which is fine, but he's kinda stuck on that image thing. I know for me I went thru a little bit of this myself but my purpose for quitting outweighed the image thing so it didnt last too long. Have you run in to others like this? Is there any gear a little less nerdy and techy? Ya know a skull and crossbones vaporizer kinda thing or something to get him over this?
  22. Good question. I have never washed my new arrivals either but then I've never noticed a problem either. They seem to be fine in general.
  23. You're well on the way. Congratulations. Sorry about the grief your wife is giving you. Sounds like she can't see the big picture right now but she'll come around. Is she a smoker? My wife and I have gone from about $60/week smoking to probably $15/week vaping. Sure, the initial costs were high figuring it all out but we're really beginning to see the savings now. And wwhat is that cost when compared with health? Priceless!
