There are always bad apples in the bunch. These devices can be finicky. QC is a little to be desired.

For me, a 12 point drop was too much, too fast. 6 points was just about right. I went 24 to 18 to 12 over a few months and now I'm sneaking in some 6 here and there. I went from 18 to 6 and it was a little rough

Do you have a link? The only "volcano" i was able to quickliy spot is a vaporizer designed to pull extracts from organic materials. This is different than the mods discussed here. Most mods I've seen are metal but there are a couple of companies that make "wraps" for all devices and since you like the colors and bling I would check those out. Google J-wraps

I've had that dream, and then been relieved when I woke up and discovered I didnt screw up after all.

Well, I revisited some old juices recently. I wanted to use up some stock before my next juice order came in. All my juices kept in a kit in a cool dark place. Everything older than about 4 months is toast. Color and flavor very unappealing. Some of my clear or near clear juices had become dark amber to light brown. The flavors were way off. And not just because my tastes have changed. Certainly there is an element of that, but these juices have gone bad no doubt. Apparently the shelf life of juice is shorter than I imagined. What are your exoeriences with deteriorating juice? I generally like to keep my juices fresh, replenishing them every few weeks. And BTW, I have checked on these juices periodically but here's a case where steeping didn't help at all.

For some reason the B&M stores near me seem to be a little more aligned with on-line pricing. Def not twice as much but certaiinly a premium is paid in store. From what I see the main traffic is new people and the benefit is good customer service. If you don't have that , you won't survive long. Once the noobies get over the learning curve, know what they like, know what they want, I'm sure they migrate to more on line service. As long as you have the new guys coming in I think you can do alright. And, I have to say, I do enjoy going in and seeing and holding the gear. On occasion I will buy something on the spot even if it means paying 20-30% more (a rough average). The key is do I enjoy being there? Do I walk away happy? I bought my first RDA for $16 at a B&M, something I now know I can get on-line for $10-$12. But, I saw it, touched it, learned how to use it and watched how to rebuild it. It was fun. And I went home and dripped some fresh juice I had taste tested. It was great.

I have to stick up for my local B&M. They are not all bad. I happily pay $30 for 3-15ml bottles of the most vapable stuff I've ever encountered. The gear is over priced but is it unfair? Not really, IMO. Sure, I buy mostly on line but getting out and helping a B&M that's worthy is good too.

The positive contact points are the center post of the Clearomizer and the center post of the 510 connection on the battery. The outer threads (ego threads) make the negative side connection.

You should be able to tighten it up a little more than you have been without damaging the battery. I have heard that the center post can get depressed but it is repairable. It's never happened to me but I see that complaint on here fairly often.
