that's interesting, I've always gotten genuine coils from discount vapors, but I haven't ordered for a while.....

I have had similar experiences with other vendors. I halfway wonder if it isn't a problem with growth. A lot of these places are fairly new and I'm sure they are experiencing growing pains. I don't think Fuzion is that old of a company and it wouldn't surprise me if they have 10X their juice output in the last couple of months. You know, it probably used to be one guy making juice and now they are trying to figure out how to mass produce juice. I the best of all possible worlds it shouldn't matter but you never know, Their quality could be suffering from shear volume. I got a "bad batch" from one of my favorite vendors. I emailed them and they didn't even respond! Crazy, right? I'm going to try contacting them one more time and then, that's it, I'll be done with them. I do have sympathy for them, though. If growth in this industry is as predicted there must be some serious growing pains going on out there. Ask imedic, I'll bet he's experiencing some pretty good growth along these lines. Anyway, that's just my take on it. I think juice is the most inconsistent element of all in vaping. It can be very frustrating.

I have had reactions as you describe but much milder. I have always attributed it to quitting smoking as opposed to reactions to juices. And those reactions have diminished in the last 6 months as well.

Rock on!

Yeah, not all knock-offs are bad. But the really cheap ones are pretty obvious

Ok. I'll put my order in for a dot neck 335 in a cherry finish and a hunter green Les Paul with gold hardware, please.

Pardon me, ma'm. I'm starting to like this island idea. We gotta professor and a Maryanne. If the gov't keeps going the way it is this may turn out to be a great option. Maybe I can get Compenstine build me a bamboo guitar....

I was making a musician's joke, as in tuning up an instrument to play. To jam means to play music enthusiastically by yourself or with others as in " Everybody tuned up? Okay, let's jam!"
-
You could try working a needle in the airholes. You may have a clog or a burr Or you could just tune that sucker up and jam on it
-
Nope its fine to cover it. Sounds like you may be pulling a little hard on it is all.
-
Oh, we're on the same island.....Okay, I hear ya The coconut bikini looks mahvalous on you dahling btw

Cheater! The other hand was for your solar charger ....there's always one in the bunch...

Ok. You've been vaping for a while now. You've got a handful of great juices...you're fairly content... Suddenly a storm hits and swamps your boat. You only have time to grab ONE juice and get to the life raft. Your next 3 years will be spent wearing banana fronds or coconut bikinis.... Which juice did you grab? (Flavor and manufacturer please)
-
Well I have to add that I have seen a lot of inconsistency in juices in general. I have a few vendors who put out a consistently good juice and others are hit and miss even on the same juice. And in all honesty my tastes have changed massively since I started vaping. What I thought tasted fantastic 6 months ago is pretty mediocre today. All part of the ever evolving vape world...

Evod review (compared to ego + your opinion?)

45 days on a single coil? That's got to be a record. -
Anybody else do this, or am I weird
Bebop replied to HelloMiakoda's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Ok, I used your method last night and entertained the wife for some time, lol. I used a medium thick pop bottle (squirt). Serious... -
I meant to ask you as well, do you have the same taste issues with food and drink? If the issues are the same with food and drink (and smell in general since olfactory is a huge factor with taste) then your problems may be mechanical.
-
Hmontes- you can measure res with a basic ohmmeter. Touch leads together first and see if it reads 0. If not, then you will subtract this number from your measurement with the coil. The resistance will change slightly depending on if you measure a dry coil or one already in a wet tank. Wet measurement is most accurate

As long as your usb charging cord is not a cheap knock off, i wouldn't worry about.
-
Spidey, There are a few variables in what you are dealing with. You're just going to have to trust your own judgement on this. Burnt? Turn it down. Still burnt? Bad coil. Still burnt? Maybe the juice or your own tastes changing. Forget watts and volts. Are you getting vapor production? Good. I know it can be frustrating. It's not a perfect system. There is a lot of experimentation with vaping. Try to keeo it simple and as enjoyable as possible. Bask in the game of it all. Make it fun!

I would not be afraid to use it, Patricia. Just dont leave it unattended and make sure you're using a quality usb ego cord with circuit protection. Did the car adapter come with an ego usb cord?
-
6th paragraph down ....'nuff said....
-
Ah...ok that makes sense. It is true that the ego usb charging cable is what regulates the output. Therefore Patricia, you should be fine if you are using an ego charging cable from your car adapter to the battery. That being said, in the best of all possible worlds, as long as your car voltage output is constant you should be fine. I would be ok with charging it with that adapter except that I wouldnt plug it in until the car is running. Dont stop and start the car while it's plugged in. You should be fine in general. I think it would be smart not to leave it unattended.
-
You want to check and verify the output voltage. That doesn't sound right, Patricia and I wouldn't charge it until you verify that it won't fry your battery

Drip drip, Siz siz, oh what a relief it is... You guys are hilarious. Good news, I'll prolly get my new dripper in the mail today. Bad news, I'm gone all day and night today.
