  1. Consulting with vapers - that's good news!
  2. Standard mixes? As far as I have seen the standard mixes I've come across are anywhere from 90/10 to 35/65 and and 100% vg is pretty common so I don't know what you mean by that. As a matter of my own experience , I used to get sputtering and juice spatter when I used to use 80/20 and 70/30 mixes with a low ohm coil (1.8). Now that I typically use 50/50 mixes and 2.2 - 2.4 I dont experience that as much and if I do it appears to be flavoring related. I think 1cheater makes some valid points
  3. Wow. It's getting ugly, fast. It's fascinating. The vaping issue could be the largest example of the attempt to quash a viable and clearly superior health product - let's face it, and call it what it is - vaping is largely a smoking cessation activity that is empirically miles ahead of any other device or therapy and, it is Successful! The ignorance is hard to believe. The evil is appalling.
  4. ....and other gear. I really do want a VT t-shirt (or hoodie). Why don't we get some gear going? What would it take? A ball cap? A mouse pad? Coffee mug? Decals? Do I hafta go out and get a tat? What??? (I know nothing about what it would take to make this happen)
  5. I'm stuck on mystic palace Boston Cream Pie. My sweet tooth is in check.
  6. .....and the only thing I'll add to all this awesome advice is dont forget to clean all your threads as well. Remember it not only affects how the various pieces seat together but also affects electrical connection as well!
  7. Troy. You still have to post pics via a 3rd party site like photobucket. I download pic to my ipad. Upload to photobucket. On photobucket they give you several options. Select all on IMG option. Copy to clipboard. Come back here and paste into this space. After you paste and before you post, remove everything but what is contained in the brackets and the brackets themselves. (If you do this people wont be sent to your photobucket page but will just see the image on this site)
  8. It will pull all the way out if you pull too hard. You dont need to pull it out very much. Just a bit. Almost imperceptable. Just gently and slowly. Not enough to separate it from the little white insulator ring that keeps the two pieces of metal from touching
  9. Patricia The part in the tank that contacts the battery is the bottom end of the coil Sometimes if you tighten the tank to the battery too much it compacts the coil and presses it together too much. You can gently pull the bottom of the coil (doesn't take much). It's just a "press fit" with the body of the coil. It's easier if you remove the coil first.
  10. Okay nobody answered my post and it's been 9 minutes. I'm going to try it anyway.
  11. Okay, I did everything you said. Would this be a 3 home coil? I've got it hooked up to 7 car batteries and I'm going to stuff it with some insulation I found in the garage. Will that work ok?
  12. I'm sorry. You are in way over your head at this point. So much, that your questions don't make sense and that is why you are not getting the answers that you want. You are not understanding some basic concepts and those concepts have been explained in dozens of other threads that you can easily search and find on this website. You need to buy yourself a pack of pre-made coils, get your favorite juice and sit down for a few hours and Read and understand what you are reading. Please do this before you hurt yourself or others around you
  13. Welcome! Thanks for your most excellent and intelligent contribution. It is very appreciated. However ......the dark side awaits.....
  14. Welcome Replace your battery with a Vision Spinner - $25 , but keep your 650 as back up. That will improve the performance of the pro tank .

My mother is from UK so I'm once removed
  16. My wife really wanted an eggnog flavor for the holidays so I ordered her a small batch from Highbrow (which is our favorite on-line vendor for 3 months now) Highbrow boasts organic natural flavorings and although we have only tried a half-dozen flavors every one has been right on. Their basic mix is 80/20 but you can customize fully including flavoring. And surprisingly reasonable at $15/30ml Now, to the eggnog. If I was a big fan of eggnog I would probably love it. I don't. But it is pretty good. Creamy and spiced with nutmeg and it blends nicely together. I don't get any liquor flavor in this so if you like your eggnog without, then this is for you. My wife is in heaven. She loves it. For me it's more of a novelty flavor, something to be enjoyed for a few draws. Real eggnog fans should be pleased. (But not REAL real eggnog fans that would miss the alcohol. )
  17. I would first suspect the coil. Are you making sure the coil is primed before starting to vape it? If you start to vape before juice is allowed to saturate the coil the first time you fire it up, you could potentially burn the wick/coil giving a bad flavor that is difficult to remove
  18. Do you experience this with top coil as well as botttom coil units?
  19. I know at J-wraps they have a good selection of wraps for batteries plus they allow for custom wraps as well. Much safer than the oven...
  20. Nothing like finding a good all-day-vape! No matter how much ot costs... glad you found yours, Grant!
  21. The upgrades have been out for a while now. The first joyetech batteries i bought 8 months ago were upgrade batteries
