  1. There are no definitive studies on this yet. From what I have read the consensus is that it is less than a normal cigarrette. But it is also true that different people have different rates of absorption. There is also some evidence that since there are no tars that it impacts the way it is absorbed. I wish I could tell you more but there just isnt enough info out there yet. Also, there is a lot of FALSE info out there designed to build fear in vaping. Again, even though the action of vaping mimics smoking, it is not smoking and so not a lot is known about the specifics you ask for other than testimony of those who have been vaping for years.
  2. 16mg per 1 ml So about 25mg per tank. But, that doesnt mean you are absorbing 25mg. Prob not even half that. Your are also not getting tars and CO2 ( carbon monoxide)
  3. It's a wonder when you realize how bad we smelled back then....
  4. Then vaping 1.6 all day is probably not right for you. If you vape more than you smoked then I would drop it down to 1.2 or lower. It's going to be little bit of trial and error. For me, I think the absorption of nicotine is a little less than regular smoking. 1.6 - 2.4 would be roughly equivalent to a full flavored cigarette. And that would be vaping 1 - 2 ml per day. Measure how much you are vaping in a day by the ml. Pay attention to your symptoms and adjust accordingly would be my advice. You can't really consume enough nic vaping to kill you because you would get sick long before you reached that point.
  5. How much did you smoke? And what did you smoke?
  6. Yeah you just need a streaming device, like a roku, or a sony. Play station, etc Then link it to your amazon account and away you go. Lots of free older movies, and reasonable rental rates on newer stuff. For brand new movies in HD you'll pay $6 or so Edit: pretty much all the smart TVs out now have streaming built in if you want to go that way. Super convenient if you like linking a laptop to the big screen as well.
  7. You have to take this to a new thread, spy. It would be awesome. Maybe the lounge? Good post
  8. You should start a new thread for the worst named juice ever (that actually exists), lol I thought "monkey buns" was bad but that has clearly been trumped
  9. Lol, welcome to your new journey. Steeping is a bit of a misnomer. I guess it comes from the idea of steeping tea leaves in hot water to extract flavor. In vape-ese, steeping means the infusion of flavors over time as the ejuice sits and ages Welcome
  10. Yeah, I would go with Netflix or amazon prime, then. Best availability for what you want IMO
  11. In my area, we've played the game of bouncing back and forth between u-verse, comcast, Dish..... They all have their advantages and disadvantages and the costs wash out in the end. They're all expensive. Between that and cell it's a small fortune, lol But, I gotta have my sports during the playoff seasons. For as little TV as we watch it's hard to pay that bill Streaming does appear to be the future, though. Maybe netflix, amazon et al will get sports packages in the future.
  12. Sorry if I confused you. The 3 basic parts of ejuice are USUALLY pg, vg, and flavoring. 90% of what I have come across is some combination of these components. Juice makers feel that a higher pg content helps the juice carry more flavor. The vg produces more vapor but doesn't carry as much flavor. Some juice is made with only vg and flavorings. But flavoring scan make up as much as 30% of the juice. That means that in a 10ml bottle of juice 7ml is vg and 3ml is flavoring. What is flavoring made out of? Honestly, it's difficult to find out. Probably water, some form of extracts or reductions of organic compounds, and some kind of base to suspend it in. I can't say there is pg in a 100% vg juice. It is possible. If so, it's minimal. Bottom line: what ever it is it's better for you than carbonized vegetable matter (tobacco leaves)
  13. Christopher brings up the only real downside. You will loose all sports
  14. Netflix is better in my opinion. We got rid of hulu Edit: and we redbox on occasion
  15. ...unless there is pg in the flavoring. Who knows. I have spent HOURS AND HOURS researching flavorings and its impossible to know.
  16. Bcarter, dry burning and changing out wicks - ever think you'd see the day??
  17. The blu cart is a pad soaked cart sim to boge. There is no pouring out possible.
  18. I have only experienced one juice out of all that I have tried that changed for the worse after 6 months. And it wasnt that it was horrible or foul. It just lost its initial flavor. I thhink 2 years is a bit of a stretch but 6 months to a year should be expected as long as you don't let it suffer extreme changes in temp
  19. You do realize that no juice is 100% vg. The base may be 100% but as soon as you add flavoring, which can be as much as 30% of the juice, your def vaping something other than just pure vg. And since just about all flavorings are proprietary its impossible to find out whats in that flavoring. I'm only pointing this out, not trying to change your mind on what you vape.
  20. I would shy away from the c-lips kit. Proprietary fit and 380mah will go fast The ego-t kit looks better and will last plus you can add to it later Just my .02
  21. Bam! Another smoker - done! Welcome
