I don't know how you are vaping on an ego setup at 4.8. That seems awful high. You could be scorching your juice and inhaling some nasties. Also.. are you changing your coils regularly? They do break down and start giving off nastiness making harsh vape This could be contributing to your wheeze

Bad coil. The battery has circuit protection function. It resets by briefly plugging back in to charger. You def have a short in the coil. Replace the coil and it should work.

In my opinion, you should be totally fine vaping 50/50 or higher vg. How heavy of a smoker are you? I can't imagine 5% pg would even be ennough to set off the device. We are talking a very small quantity. Also I have heard that tobacco flavorings require less percentage of flavorings which would further reduce the likelyhood of pg content. Maybe one of the DIY juicers can verify this. Or even come up with a vapable formula that contains no Pg. I mean, pg is a food grade product and you are likely consuming it or absorbing it already in other ways. Just my opinion, but I dont think you have to worry if you go all Vg juice

If you do decide to help him understand vaping ( IF you want to - it's totally up to you) the correct action is not to take up any of his objections at all. Don't even get in to it. Just ask him if he's willing to look at some information. If he is, great. Uma has loads of articles, videos etc of reputable people presenting the truth about vaping posted here on this site you can reference. If he's not willing, I wouldn't bother pushing it at all.

Fascinating problem. You are correct that the scram unit can potentially pick a false positive on propylene glycol. However, don't be surprised that you would need a chemist and a team of doctors to prove it was the pg. If I were you, I would set up a video camera, have you constantly on camera and vape and try it out. I cannot find any information that vaping pg would set off a scram monitor. There is virtually no info on the metabolism of pg from vaping and if it falls within the parameters of alcohol metabolism as measured by scram. Sorry to say you're in a tough spot and you may just have to conduct a test with your supervisor present. Wish I could help further

Not recommened as it is not compatible with more available parts. You will soon be needing to replace parts and you will spend more in the long run. I know the price is attractive but it will cost you more very quickly. Recommend the evod starter kit on this site. $49 gets you going and you can upgrade and add to it with readily available parts. Dont set yourself up for a fail. Your success is important
