If you cleaned it up we might be able to see it better. If its not firing at all its likely shorted out at the coil or the coil is fried. Look for a break in the coil or a short (coil touch the deck). Also check the posts with a meter to confirm the battery is connected and its not a switch problem.

Hey Will, You publish a lot of interesting data on batteries. Do you have any data on performance, longevity, anecdotal info on the various ego style batteries, i.e. Vision Spinner, Joyetech Ego, Evod etc..? Thanks in advance!

^^all good answers^^ I have only noticed excessive heat when my connections are dirty, there is liquid or a film on my battery contact points, or the coil is old or the resistance too high in the coil. All these things lead to high resistance which creates heat. That and chain vaping, lol

I'm sold on the spinner. No issues after 6 months. I love the extra mah. They are a little bigger than the Joyetech. I have both. I think I prefer the spinner.
