  1. I started with a similar kit. I wouldn't go cheap. That's me, though. 9 times out of 10 going cheap ends up being a waste. Even as it is, you'll get a good vape from this kit, but 2 months from now you'll have experience, you'll have more education and you'll be looking at even more things and this kit will become like your smoking ; a thing of the past.
  2. Lol. No. It. sounded like you were getting ready to drop the hammer on a few people....
  3. Yes we do. I totally get a kick out of the new guys succeeding. I dug the help when I first started.
  4. I'll look for the flash in the eastern sky, lol.
  5. What you missed is TAM BUILDING HER OWN COILS. She bought a torch!. We're looking forward to pictures. You're just in time. Jeffb has been awful quiet lately. I'm sure he'll chime in. And your post is still going strong...
  6. Marlboro lights to RYO less harsh than that? Well, 24 wont kill you but you may find it a little strong. You are just going to have to experiment a little. It's all good.
  7. You'll spend a little over $100 to get fully set up with a satisfying vape. I recommend 2 vision Spinners (batts), a charger, 3 Kanger T3S's or 3 Evod BCC's or 3 Kanger mini protanks, (they all use the same coils). Couple packs of coils. Then there is juice which is highly subjective. You'll burn another $50 - 100 finding your juice. If you dont have a local place you can try juices, ask for recommendations in eliquid sub forum. Start at 18mg (nic). Dont think about it, just do it. You wont regret it. Dont go too cheap on the juice. That's where success is. Good luck!
  8. Ok. You'd have to measure the output voltage of the battery to verify that's your problem. It does sound like your battery is weak if all else is true Once I went vv I have never gone back. And the Vision Spinner at 1300mah lasts a long time. Worth the $$
  9. What batteries are you both using?
  10. Yeah I dropped a vendor because even though their juice was great, they were heavily colored. I try and stay away from coloring as much as possible.
  11. You can do any ohm from 1.5 to 2.5 but you'll probably like the performance with what you have- 1.8. It's a good middle of the road
  12. that's interesting. I don't think I've ever experienced a hot vape. Even on a top coil unit with my tongue right next to the tip I barely detect any warmth, lol.
  13. Went out to dinner last Sunday night and caught a lady discreetly vaping at her table with an Ego-style pen. Did a search for local B & M's this weekend. In almost a year we have gone from 2 vape shops to about 15. 3 of them are full on vape bars specializing in juice with hundreds of flavors and some basic gear. About 6 or 7 are full retail "vape only" shops with all the gear you could want. Another half-dozen are smoke shops with a significant section of their store set up for vaping, mostly introductory stuff and a couple dozen flavors. This is all within about a 25 mile radius.
  14. Im almost out of Monkey Buns! Fortunately I have a large bottle of spiced apple waitibg in the wings
  15. The article said 10mg per kilo or roughly 1ml of juice for every 2.2 lbs of weight. Im sorry I find it hard to believe a little bit.
  16. That's funny. I didn't think of it as a milestone, lol, but you're right. Woohoo!
  17. It lasted maybe 8 - 9 months? It just suddenly won't hold much of a charge. Oh well, good excuse to go shopping for another spinner.
  18. Did you quit cold turkey or gradually Do you still smoke Do you plan to quit vaping Are you dropping nicotine levels Is it a hobby/recreational or is it practical Other health benefits besides breathing Also your $20 savings I thought was a little conservative. Sorry, not trying to be overly critical. Wish you well on the paper!
