  1. Just want to clarify... Coil to base can be tight tight. I've never had a leak doing this. But base to battery finger tight only for sure. Are you guys getting leaks if you screw coil to base really tight? I've never had that problem...
  2. Monkey Buns on a fresh coil *eyes roll up in to skull* ..... Heaven.
  3. Bummer you can't vape in the house. Just makes it harder to quit. We've been vaping in our house over a year now without ANY ill effects. Good luck and keep plugging away at it..
  4. Did you get extra coils with your pro tank 3? Make sure the coil is screwed in to the base tight. If continues to leak, change the coil out. Make sure you keep the top of the battery dry too. Blow the extra juice out through the protank gently. Keeping it clear and battery dry improves performance
  5. Make sure coil is screwed in tightly. Make sure you don't screw your battery on too tight. This compresses the battery post and/or the pin on the coil.
  6. Congratulations! But did u get a good deal on the car???
  7. Tam fan, here! Thank you, dear, for helping me on my journey. I owe much of my own success to you. My wallet may be a little lighter but I am the richer for it. Congratulations.
  8. Yeah, with the right juice (fadora et al) I get tons of vapor on a single coil....
  9. Lol. Is cap'n crunch still around? I can't say it's aimed at anybody less than 40 anyway, haha
  10. That is highly unusual. My first guess is that the coil head is not seated firmly enough in the base before you screw the tank on. It is really the only thing that leads to the kind of leaking you describe. These are not precision machined. They do bind a little sometimes and take a little bit of effort but that coil head must be screwed in to the base firmly. I have been through a hundred coils or more with all the tanks you have and have never had a leak unless the coil is not screwed in to the base.
  11. SweetVapes has tanks , coils and juice. They have a well liked tobacco flavor juice. There are many others, just cruise around the website here and ask. Just pick a tank with replaceable coils for now. Don't bother with rebuildables yet. As I said, the evod bcc, pro tank, and anyvape davide are solid performers and all use them same coil. After that it's all about the juice
  12. Not a bad setup especially if it's not a knock-off. You can do better than the MT. Your juice is fairly strong at 24 If you wanted to upgrade go to a variable Voltage battery - Ego Twist, Vision Spinner, or Evod Twist. For a tank I would go with the Protank 2, or the Anyvape Davide That being said, finding a good juice gives you the most bang for the buck and is where u should start. You're going to have to experiment
  13. What type of tank/RBA do you have? What does your build look like? You should drench the wick/cotton. You should be replenishing the wick every few times. Also depends on the juice you are using. Do you know your pg/vg mix? So I just saw a pic of your juices. Looks like you have mostly around 40/60 so pretty thick. Depending on the style of your tank/wick whatever your going to have to keep it wet pretty often.
  14. It's the juice, and more accurately, the flavoring. It's not necessarily the brand. Some juices (probably due to high sugars) are real coil wreckers. It's an unfortunate consequence but it's juice flavoring that is the culprit. I stopped vaping one of my favorite coffee Vapes because I literally would destroy a coil with each tank. It happens...
  15. Yeah, roughly 5X that or about 15 ml of 36 would be enough to do serious damage. Less of course for children. Nasty stuff..
  16. Where's fish guy? Post some pics of cichlids,...
  17. There was a recall of a limited batch of batteries. Was pretty small
  18. Why is it the guys using 36mg make this mistake? Geeez .....
  19. That is hilarious. However, doing stupid **** when you're tired and stressed, well, you lucked out this time...
  20. Yeah, the point I was trying to make is that "opinion" on safety is not safety. Besides the safety comes from the user, not the product. A knife as a product is totally safe unless you put it in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to handle it. Is a 20ft extension ladder safe? Well, sure it is if you know how to use it. I'm sure there are a LOT of people who just read these posts and never make posts themselves and just trust what they read on a post and hope somebody responsible has posted. No offense to you Cyan, but your post came off like you were looking for opinions. This is science, man. There are laws involved. There is a correct way to go about sub ohming with safety.
  21. If 5 people answered and said it was safe, would you do it? If the answer is "yes" then it is not safe.
  22. Comp is right on! Don't forget, if you look close enough and hard enough at ANYTHING you can find trace elements that are carcinogens. The point is that the amounts are so low when compared to smoking it's a no brainer. These kinds of reports love to exaggerate the downsides.
  23. B&Ms can be pretty cool. The key is to develop a little relationship with the Knowledgable Ones, (my designation for the guys who know their **** at the store). Some of those guys started their vape shop because they love the hobby and they want to help people. While generally the prices are higher, they don't seem to be as outrageous as they were a year ago. Plus, the way the juice market has boomed in the last year it's fun to try out some juices. I buy most of my stuff on line but I do go out once or twice a month and visit a B&M or vape bar just for fun.
  24. Yeah the CE4 doesn't use the beauty ring. Scrap it. You might want to consider switching to an EVOD bcc (bottom coil Clearomizer). Much better performance and uses a pro tank coil that is pretty inexpensive.
