  1. The members of AEMSA are the big hitters of the industry, if you could look at the numbers, lots of Mls. This boards favorites are all small, boutique, cottage types that fall way down the list as far as production totals. That usually means better juice overall, and less money to spent on things like association memberships. I'm hoping the FDA mandates AEMSA certifications in the near future, then everyone will have to go thru the process.
  2. It's a starting point. At least they are trying to help the industry and it's issues.( you know the spiel "how do you know what's in there?) Yes not everyone has signed on, but they will. I think I would rather have well informed people from our industry to try and put something together that makes sense, than the government, that would not. But I guess the rest will sit back, do nothing and wait for the FDA or Mayor Bloomberg to shut them down.
  3. There is way to many bathtub mixers out there, how do you know when your shopping? Yes you can get reviews off VT. Almost all industry has some sort of association to assist and ensure product and profitability every car dealer belongs to one also b. And when you have the ability to see data, you will find that your top notch suppliers might make good juice, but nowhere near the volume of others. Your probably throwing a hissy cuz your vape dudes haven't received this designation, and that's okay
  4. Yes' usually that burnt taste is crud built up on the coil, and cleaning will remove a lt of it Of course YMMV!
  5. Is your favorite juicemaker AEMSA certified? After recieving some really bad, I mean terrible, I mean so freaking bad I had to call the maker and ask WTF is in that juice? So after some great vapes and good discussion, I have made the decision to only buy liquid from AEMSA certified labs, with a few exceptions.... The purpose of these Standards is to create a responsible and sustainable practices and process for the safe manufacturing of e-liquids used in electronic cigarettes. Our members believe we have a responsibility to self-regulate the e-liquid manufacturing process based on professional criteria. AEMSA aims to accomplish this by creating, implementing and upholding standards for the manufacture of e-liquids. One of AEMSAs primary goals is to provide consumers with higher degrees of confidence our members products are manufactured with professionalism, accuracy and safety AEMSA standards are established based on the following Core Beliefs: We have a responsibility to verify the accuracy of any nicotine content in the products we distribute. We have a responsibility to ensure the quality and safety of all ingredients in our e-liquids. We have a responsibility to prepare our products in a clean, sanitary and safe environment. We have a responsibility to ensure our products are packaged and delivered in a safe manner. We have a responsibility to provide a level of transparency into the monitoring and verification process.
  6. Some spider, some straight crack, and some just melt away. I have been told it depends on the quality of the polycarbonate...
  7. I clean coils constantly. I think I have 20 in the rotation now. I usually switch the heads out when they don't perform as well, and always start with a clean head on new flavors. And the Kanger heads are so easy compared to a top wick feed to clean. Drop the heads in a shot glass and let them tumble under the faucet with very hot water for a couple minutes, then let em soak for at least a half hour. Then drain and refill with alcohol, high % rubbing works fine, and let them soak for at least a couple hours. Then drain and rinse again with hot water. Then allow to dry for a few days. Works great, and helps conserve some cash...
  8. I thought you sold that e pipe??

  11. Casaa has asked for everyone to take a breath and hold back a bit they have a meeting with FDA on Monday , and we should get a clearer picture of what's happening. Casaa has asked not to email or call the FDA at this time.
  12. There is usually an effective date, normally minimum 30 days for a rule to go into effect. And I'm sure someone will push legal actions that might give them even more time. Very different from gambling and not paying taxes...
  13. After starting my new PT gig, I'm doing it all day. It's really a blast to get em started, or solve their issues and get em back on track. It's also really easy to sell something your passionate about...
  14. Put me down for some then too...
  15. Yes liquid is where all the money is made, very small margins on hardware.. I wouldn't stock up too soon, wait till legislation is made, you'll have a window to still purchase online if need be..
  16. Agreed, vape doesn't hold up well, and the rings are thin. But I am enjoying "frenching" some flavors.....
