HELP NEED TO FIND A CARTOMIZER SIZE FOR MY RIG
joe2003 replied to toddbrennan's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hard to tell from their pics but it looks like an RN4081 to me. If so any cartos for the NJOY Npro would fit -
I have to disagree with all of this. A typical vaper will only get about 2 hrs. of charge time from these batts and go through 2-5 of these cartos per day. I would recommend you use the links here on the forum and go to VaporTalk store and get an eGo kit maybe a pack of empty cartos if you think you want to try them and a vivi nova tank for ease of use and easy to fill. While you're there you can select from a nice variety of juices to put in them. Most folks recommend 16-24 mg to start with. Sadly the thing about batts is the bigger the batt the higher the MAH which means the longer the charge will last. I wish there was a batt the size of a cig that would last all day but the tech just isn't there yet HTH

Mine too! But then my truck is 18 yrs. old hehehe Welcome back Uma,we missed you -
Check out madvapes.com,they carry laser pointers just right for modding to use a 10440 batt and any connector you like. They also carry flashlights and many styles of batt boxes to mod. HTH

Are you filling the cartos before you put them in the tank? If the cartos are properly filled then the holes may be too small or you may need to add more holes to get proper wicking. Also if your juice is too thick (too much VG) it may not wick well. The only other thing I can think of at the moment is you may be using too high a voltage for the resistance of your cartos. My personal setups stay below 8 watts.

Battery Fire Potential w/noflame ecig battery
joe2003 replied to timinftl's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
I'm not familiar with the noflame brand so no help there. There are several cig-a-like brands, mostly kr808 stuff, that have good reps and have refillable cartos:Smokeless Image Volt and V4L(vapor 4 life) pop into mind, If ya wanna go really small and cig like the joye e-roll/ovale e-mini has gotten very popular but the carts only hold ~.5 ml of juice. They seem to be super easy to fill and the PCC is neat too lol. As for the batts they are all Lithium Ion so they all have the potential to overheat/vent/ cause fires. The autos may be more likely to have problems due to liquid getting inside and causing shorts or switches to stick. All batts can be hazardous and there are cases where cell phones, laptops etc..had batts go bad and cause damage. The percentage of problems is small but the potential is there so caution and study are advised. HTH -
I've enjoyed the vid chats in the past, not so crazy about the text chat tho. The kewl thing about vid chat is you don't have to be on cam to get in on the convo :>)

Welcome from NW BAMA,maybe we can eventually get enough vapers to have a vape meet

No you shouldn't have to change anything once you set your device for your sweet spot. VW devices have built in ohm meters that sample the resistance of the attached atty or carto etc... and adjust their voltage to meet the power output that you set. The main variable is the accuracy of the units ohm meter but once you find the power you like it will be consistent up to it's amp limitation or within it's power limits (high or low ). If you like to change delivery devices or juices frequently then the VW unit becomes a bit less convenient because then you may find yourself resetting it for each different juice or device to suit your taste lol.

Hi Noah, Today I'm vaping Sweet Georgia Peach pipe sauce on an epipemod

Hi and welcome, I'm not surprised that the NJOY King burned your throat, Their red full flavor burned mine a bit and I've been vaping for three years and was a Marlboro red smoker for many years before that ! Njoy claims the highest nic content of any e-cig I'm aware of. For a light smoker and casual vapor I suggest trying a starter kit from smokelessimage.com , they are cigalike and you can get sampler packs of their cartos in several diff strengths. I would suggest 6 or 11 mg to start with and see if you need more or less nic from there. Once you find a flavor you like they sell juice bottles to refill your cartos with, then you can also expand out to the many other juice sellers that have great juice like at the VAPORTALK store:)

vivi nova heads inconsistant?
joe2003 replied to joe2003's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Thanks for the responses. It's not really a deal breaker for me since I have multiple VV devices it's just irritating because sometimes I want to use a small setup like a 650 ego and have to meter everything to get one that will have enough watts to satisfy me lol. Not really ready to try rolling my own yet either, I'd have to get a lighted magnifying desk unit first lol. -
Some questions for Brian and others who have tested the heads for the vivi's. Have yall found the ohm ratings to be very optimistic? I have coil heads from a few different places and they all seem to be very inconsistant. Some have been up to 1 ohm higher than the printed rating. I suspected my meter the first few times but vaping confirmed that it was closer than the stated ohms on the head. The 1.8 that read 2.8 was definitely weak in the vape lol. So is it my meter and my imagination or just my bad luck? Have their been some bad batches maybe? Any input on these is appreciated.

Since I've never used one of these you can take these ideas for what they are worth lol From what I have read you could try dropping a few drops of juice directly on the wick to help start the capillary action, check to make sure the coil isn't too tightly wrapped around the wick and maybe try removing the filler hole screw(if it has one)for a few minutes to give it time to start the wicking process. Hopefully one of the experts (uma ) will be along soon with better help.

I've used Boge cartos in a tank as my daily vape for months now. You really need to fill the carto as well as the tank. on the initial fill they will hold 20 or more drops even after you let them sit in a full tank. If I vape the tank completely dry I will put a few (5-10)drops in the carto when I refill the tank. Using them this way I usually get 2-4 weeks of use out of a single carto HTH

Wow,never heard of any of those except the dry mouth! They sound like allergy symptoms, maybe to PG or the flavoring hmmmm
