  1. come on mail lady I can hardly wait!! Nice vids jolly and wtg building up the anticipation. grumble grumble gripe moan darn slow usps.
  2. I like the lil round sticker packs from wallyworld color coded attys and cartos to match. put it all in a little plastic tackle box with dividers for on the go.
  3. cherry juice is iffy at best, haven't found one i liked you can just put a couple of drops in your atty and take a couple puffs without the cart to see if you like the juice. as far as the polyfill you can just take it out of the cart and rinse it under the tap till the color goes back to white that should clean it well enough, then pat it dry with a papertowel and put it back in the cart and refill. the best suggestion is to direct drip without any filler you get the best flavor that way usually. if you drive a lot or are to busy to direct drip then filled carts or cartomizers is the easiest way to go. hope you get your flavor the way you want it good luck and happy vaping
  4. It happens to a lot of us so don't feel lonely Some higher nic juice may help or maybe just some new flavors:animier: I've also heard that you can just add some PGA or cinnamon or menthol if you like to up the throat hit in the juice you have. Some of the DIYers will no doubt have some good ideas for TH.Good luck and hang in there.
  5. Sorry dude but as I understand the law,if you leave something Car boat motorcycle etc,for 6 mo. or more it's considered abandoned they can do whatever they want with it sell scrap whatever. If you can prove that you tried to contact this person or went to his home to try to get your property back you might have a case otherwise I don't believe you have much chance. Having said that, laws vary and circumstances can be taken into account so if the car or the principal of the thing is worth it to you then definitely pursue it legally.if that don't work an old fashioned a$$ whoopin might be in order:) j/k.
  6. Very nice roober, Mark's mods really are works of art What makes them extra special is that he gives them away. Basically he 's giving his time, labor and a piece of himself to the vaping community. Kudos to Mark for his generosity and to you Roober for showing it to us.
  7. I don't use auto batts so this is just an opinion but I think to defeat the leak issues you're gonna have to go with cartos as opposed to atty's and carts.Dripping is more trouble than it's worth with cartos but once you learn to refill them they last a decent amount of time. The best looking PCC kits are kr808d-1 at vapor4life but they are bigger units(PV's and PCC'S) than a 510. If you really wanna use autos, the best thing I can recommend is a 510 kit and cartomizers. A decent kit +a couple packs of cartos + some juice should be within your set budget. I don't know if the vapor talk store has auto batts.but Chris might be able to hook you up,He has everything else you need:)
  8. My all day fave is 555 but since I'm nuts I like nutty stuff. I also like the pina colada flavors I've tried so far (come to think of it that's nutty too)
  9. If you're using the atty's from your 510 kit on your PT there's a chance that the PT weakened the atty's. After I used my 4081 atty on a PT it barely worked at all on the standard batts. The older or more used the atty's are the more likely that is to happen. From now on I'm gonna dedicate my atty's to either 3.6 or 5v and hope that works.
  10. Hey Storm, Good review,I'm glad you went into details about vendor, packaging, and flavor types. Reminding folks that taste is subjective and not everyone will agree is a nice touch too "don't hold me responsible" haha. Too many juice reviewers just say "I like this juice and you should buy some" Keep it up dude.
  11. Hi, Haven't tried the mega cartos yet so I don't know what the ohms are. As far as damage to your batt. from lower res,the only problem I see is draining the batt faster so you'll be charging more often. If you take into account the fact that batt's have a certain # of charge cycles(not a set in stone # by the way, each batt is slightly diff.) then the batt will probably have a bit shorter usable life. This isn't really a downside since you'll be getting much better service with better vape for the life of the batt. And don't we all want better vape? It's the same sacrifice that 510 low res atty users make when they switch from regular atty's. Since batts are basically disposable items anyway we do whatever we have to to get the best service from them while they work and higher performance usually means faster drain. Hope this helped a lil bit, I'm sure the smarter members will be along shortly with more info. Welcome and happy vaping.
  12. We like using the fabric bags because you can pack more into them, and some stores here encourage the use of them.A few stores sell the fabric bags really cheap and offer discounts for using them. On the other hand we find a lot of uses for the plastic like small trash can liners and cat litter disposal. It really bothers me that certain types of people think everything in our lives has to be regulated. And what makes them believe they have the right to decide for everyone else? O.K I'll shut up now before this turns into a rant on big brother.
  13. Yeah I got a Q How'd you get so lucky? Congrats storm
  14. Who did you get the mod from? You should be able to send it back again for a refund or exchange.Yea I know it's a PITA It could be just a switch issue,do you have the means to test and repair yourself? PV issues are, sadly, pretty common whether they're factory or handmade units. If you opt for a high end mod just research for the one that suits you and also has a good rep on the forums. It's always a gamble but most of the certified suppliers are customer service oriented.
  15. The 4081 carto I got to try out is visually a brown 510 with 4081 threads I haven't tore it apart yet but the filler looks the same to me. When you pull the cap off there is an oring then a felt? pad and another oring. I don't know what juice they put in it as the wrapper just said REG. high but I can tell you it doesn't have the vapor or the TH that a 510 carto does. As far as longevity I haven't vaped it dry yet to try refilling cause I don't care for the taste but I'll get it all outta there eventually:)
  16. Hi Dave, that's great man Don't blame ya fer bein a proud poppa Still gotta try those LR atty's ,you guys are havin all the fun
  17. Smyvapor Just wanted to say thanks,I'm using the forest scene now. I don't have any suggestions for more but I do have a question. Has anyone noticed the letters in the leaves of the small tree in front of the large tree on the far right side? I can barely make out an O,M,E and something that could be a 9, or a g and something that could be an a or a Leo astrological type symbol. Anybody else see this or am I just spastic again, anyone?please?
  18. I was reading a thread about the rare 4081 cartomizer and it caught my interest, since I have an NPRO kit that I've been using sporadically for a couple of months now. The supplier is Discount Smokestik and they were offering to send these cartos out to a limited number of people for reviews. When I contacted them to see if any were still available I found them to be friendly and helpful folks,as they were willing to ship for free and also include a 901 adapter since my preferred carry is a DSE 905. This is a nice carto that works as well for me on the NPRO as the 4081 atty does. The vapor and strength of flavor are very close if not a bit better than the atty, and the throat hit is much better.I have to say here that the Npro isn't my favorite but it's because of the auto batts.I have a tough time using autos and I've tried 901 and 510 with the same results.I know it's me and not the batts.because my wife uses them with much better results. Since I now have an adapter I put the 4081 atty on my 905 to compare and I have to say the carto is at least as good and there are no fiddly tiny carts to deal with. The 4081 and adapter also came with a nice instruction sheet on how to refill the carto. If anyone's interested I'll have to report back on how the refilling goes since I've toked on this one all afternoon and haven't drained it yet. I do need to say here that the comparison may not be fair cause I've been using the 4081 atty on a 5VPT for ~3 weeks now and may have weakend it so that it's not at it's best on the 905:)After a couple of fills,If there is no visible burning,I will be putting 5V to this carto as well! So OK now for the carto comparison: The wrapper on the 4081 says its regular"?" 24mg.The flavor is tobacco-e with a hint of a mild nutty/fruity flavor. Not bad but not great, kinda neutral IMO.The TH is better than a 901 atty.Vapor is between the 901 and 510. Compared to a Greencig carto vanilla 16mg the vapor is close but the Greencig has a fuller smoother taste and the 4081 has better TH. Compared to a 510 carto? No contest! The 510 cartos have stronger flavor, more vapor and more TH.But I have had burn issues with the 510 after ~6 refills. I've never used a kr8 carto. My conclusion so far is that if you like your NPRO,4081 etc...this will make a great addition to your kit.No tiny carts to mess with and lasts pretty well.If you're a fan of the 4081 atty for DD like I am for the mild flavor and good TH you'll probly like the 4081 carto for the same reasons and you won't have to drip as often and can spend more time pacifier vaping. All yall know this is just IMO an YMMV.
  19. I'm really bummed out.I was so liking these 510 cartos until I took the 1st one apart! The one thing I wont accept is burned filler and that's what happened. That little sleeve that goes around the coil has a hole ~half the length of it burned all the way thru and the filler is scorched.I refilled this everyday for 7 days and never vaped it dry.I never tasted or smelled anything burnt but it was there. I know these are meant to be disposable and maybe I refilled them too much but I'm still disappointed.I've beeen careful not to "hotbox" it and didn't think I over heated it. If I can't get several days of use out of these I honestly can't afford to use them. Just for sheites and giggles I'll tear the rest apart after about half as many fills, but if 1 will do it being careful then I figure the rest will too.I like the convenience of only filling once or twice a day and if I traveled alot and could afford to dispose of them after only 1 or 2 fills they would have worked for me.As it is I'll have to stick with dripping atty's for the 510 experience.Glad I got some cheap adapters:) By the way this was not my only vape everyday so it got frequent breaks. On a side note the Greencig cartos are still goin good so I can use them when driving.Too bad they don't have the TH and vapor that the 510 cartos have. The search for the all day cart type juice holding thingie continues
  20. I would hate to steer you in the wrong direction when you're 1st starting out but since you did ask I'll give you 2 options and you can pick the one that looks best for you. #1 choice is here http://www.vaportalkstore.com/products/Janty-eGo-.html and you can get their Mentha juice to try while you're there. 2nd choice http://www.vaporkings.com/KR808D_1_Matte_black_base_e_Cigarette_starter_kit_p/kr808-kit-black.htm They have menthol cartomizers as well as refill juice in stock. The 1st one comes as a 3 pc. unit but you can get 510 cartomizers to try in it if you like The 2nd is a two pc unit that has auto batts. If you'd prefer manual e-mail or call and they might swap them for you.Later on you could get a 901 atty that will fit your batts or an adapter to try 510 or 801 attys to see if you like them. It's really hard to know what someone else will like but a lot of people are very happy with the ego/tornado (same unit diff.name).Plus with this PV you have many options to try later as you get used to vaping and want to try something diff.Like using 510 cartos as opposed to the cart and atty included in the kit. I really hope that you can get off the smokes and enjoy vaping. Good luck and keep us posted on how you like it.
  21. I've been using and refilling the same 510 carto daily since I started this thread. What I have noticed is that vapor production is down to ~.75 of new and it definitely holds less juice at every fill.I guess it's time to give it a hot water rinse and let it dry for a day to see if that helps. The Green cig that I've been alternating with the 510 seems to just keep on going the same as a cart would and it's filler can be reloaded just like a cart.Too bad it doesn't have the TH or vapor production of the 510 but the flavor is good. I have no complaints with either(after I modded the greencigs)and for a 2-3$ atty and cart combo I think they are definitely worth it.The 510 gets the nod for ease of use and the greencig gets it for longevity so far.
  22. E-mails sent and already getting the auto thank you from these Sen. I know they rarely read their e-mail but maybe we can get their attention with sheer volume.I sure hope we can stop this, for the NY vapers, for the suppliers(one of my faves here)and for all of us.I'm afraid this is going to be a long fight.
  23. Denver +1 from me too, well stated. A shout out to Chris and the VT crew, yall deserve it. I feel comfortable here and that's a first for me on any forum. I've mostly just joined in the past to have access to more info,I joined here because I wanted to be a part of the family, why?cause YALL ROCK
  24. OK I'm an idiot and too upset to work thru this Someone walk me thru this cause I can't get the e-mail link to work Sorry I know we're all upset but hopefully some of you are still thinking clearly. I've been called an alarmist and conspiracy theorist for years and when something like this happens to prove I'm right I kinda get brain freeze for a while.
