Well if ya don't like clearos then you probly won't like the new Janty Neo Puromizer. It looks like a purpose built clearomizer inside a metal tube with a side door for filling lol.

Ditto also

Yep both my TR-001 chargers do that with most of my batts.

Forever Upping The Nicotine
joe2003 replied to JonHitThingWithRock's topic in General Vaping Discussion
For me vaping higher mg nic wasn't doing the job,but when I went to higher voltage that was when I found my self not wanting more. Now I vape 0-9mg juice and if I want a li'l extra kick I up the voltage not the nic. Vv mods have done the most to keep me off the analogs and made it easier to drop the nic strength down. -
The vape on the Sd Keyring is really good,so far I've only tried the cartos they came with (the camel juice is fair but the high mg is too much for me since I normally vape 0-9mg will save those for my wife) Boge 2.0 and 3.0 cartos(my goto) and it does as well or better than an eGo or 3.7 mod. I got two of them and so far the vape time on a 2.0 is ~2hrs. and 3.0 is ~3hrs. Thats o.k, since it's supposed to be ~300 mah but the charge time is ~3hrs. so that kinda sux I've tried the usb charger that they came with and a 510 charger that I already had,had to use a 510 extender for that one tho. They will also charge on a 808 pcc with adapter I think I'll put 1 in the car and the other in the truck with 12v usb adapters for backups.

Thanks blu guess I'll stick with gen2 batts cause I prefer a consistant vape.thats why I like my Buzz Pro Vv. It's just that occassionally I want something a bit smaller. Just got a couple of SD keyring ecigs today to try out so far so good but the charging time is a PITA lol.

So how long of a draw do these second gen. auto batts get? I have the Bloog MF and it's pretty good but the cutoff is only ~4-5 seconds and I would like a longer draw if I can get it. I've read that some have a longer draw but I don't know which ones.

The formula that I learned is: Volts/Ohms=Amps Amps*Volts=Watts
-
The corresponding numbers are the watts (heat) provided by an atty or carto of a certain ohms vaped on a device set at a certain voltage. It is not recommended to go above 12 watts as this will pop most coils.(no more vape :>( lol It seems like the majority of vapors prefer between 6 and 9 watts depending on which juice they are vaping at the moment. Some of the lighter juices, especially fruit juices for me,seem to taste burnt or harsh at the higher watts. Generally speaking the more watts you use the more vapor, heat, flavor and TH you get. If I made any oopsies hopefully the more knowledgeable techies will be here soon to correct me :>). HTH

It's a bit risky but you can gently unscrew the top cap to check and see if the ground is tight on the side and if the positive wire is connected to the screw and not touching the body. I had 1 small issue with my BP and it was the hot wire. It wasn't tight enough on the screw center post. Since I tightened that up just a bit,no more probs. HTH

Yep forgot to give credit on that one, just thought it was time to put it up again . There's just so much good info here that my poor li'l brain can't remember who put what where and when

"Stacking" is using 2 (or more)batts in series(whether on top of each other or side by side in a box mod) to double the voltage.Which is what the IPRO does then the electronics in the unit allow you to turn the voltage down to whtever you like. The IPRO and BUZZ PRO have safety features built in to prevent batts from over discharging, over heating etc... but it's still a good idea to use protected or safer chemistry batts. You can also use batts in parallel to double or triple etc,, the Mah of a device but keep the voltage the same as a single batt. The Provari and Lavatube use a single batt.but have a booster chip to raise the voltage to whatever the user likes (within set limits depending on device) This is generally accepted as safer but still has some risks. That's the reason for vent holes and over discharge overheat protection circuits etc... Lithium ion batts that are used in most e-cigs and high end tactical flashlights and cell phones can and do vent hot gasses and if they are in a sealed case they become bombs. Not trying to scare anyone away but you should be aware of the risks. Some of the newer batts like the AW IMR have a safer chemistry that prevents explosive venting A great resource for learning about this is Battery University. HTH

you would probly have to grind down the skirt so that it would thread on (big minus for the looks when you do that)since the e-power is larger than an ego. Then it would probly depend on which switch you have since the ego booster is designed for the PWM switch of an ego. Not sure which is which but some e-power switches are direct fire and some are PWM regulated. HTH

Riva Se 4.2? Looking For A Solid 4.2 Mod Or Batt.
joe2003 replied to sasetrase's topic in General Vaping Discussion
From what I've read on the Riva SE it is an unregulated batt. which means it will start out at ~4.2v then steadily drop just like any other unregulated batt.such as the bolt mod you mentioned. Ego batt's are regulated so that they maintain the their voltage better. If you don't want a vv mod which is the best way to maintain a consistent higher voltage then I would suggest an ego booster. I don't personally like the way they look but to each their own HTH -
Using My First Lr Cartomizer With Bad Results
joe2003 replied to Soberrider's topic in General Vaping Discussion
1st If it ever tastes or smells burnt toss it. That carto will not get better, only worse and ya don't wanna be smokin diapers:) 2nd Boge LR cartos don't usually handle VG very well. Try to stay around 20%VG or less unless it is really thin juice or it just won't wick well. 3rd when you fill a new carto it's a good idea to let it soak for ~5min. just so the juice can get into the filler thoroughly. The filler is a bit resistant at first but consecutive fills are easier and don't need a waiting period. Apollo V Tube Questions (Lava Tube Clone)
joe2003 replied to mjradik's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My 3.5 ml tank that uses a Boge carto won't leak or flood unless I try to force too much juice in while filling, otherwise it doesn't care how i lay it down or throw it around. I haven't tried the Smok tech tanks though so not sure about those. -
nope sorry, the e-power is bigger Dia.

That's kinda hard to dance to. lol

Brain-Eating Amoeba Fatalities Linked To Neti Pots

Howdja get pics of my kitchen table jeff? -
maybe the Tekkeon Tekcharge MP1860A It is rechargeable and can power 2 USB devices at the same time and is not much bigger than a pack of analogs.I had one that was modded to use 510 connection attys or cartos that would last me ~4 days between charges. It should run a passthru for about that long too if you don't run anything else on it. It puts out 5V on each port so it should be just about right HTH
