  1. A few years ago I got him an NJoy, that was expensive buying the cartridges constantly. This time around we started with clearomizers and ego manual batteries. There is a vape shop about half an hour to 45 min away that is where he got the flavors he likes 2 so far couldn't be more opposite each other one is Atomic Fireball and the other is Green Apple (extra juice).
  2. Finally!! First night in a longgggggg time my hubby slept through the night, no coughing fits to wake him up with a need to use his rescue inhaler. He hasn't completely given up his cigarettes but we've found flavors he likes and he is using his e-cig.
  3. Welcome to VT, you'll love it here
  4. That's just it, have e-cigs made any claims, other than it's an alternative to smoking cigarettes?
  5. Thanks for sharing! I agree it's like our legal system innocent until proven guilty. There is more than enough proof that cigarettes are bad for you, and yet they don't ban them so why ban e-cigs? They can't be nearly as hazardous to our health as cigarettes are.
  6. Let me know if they've changed, I'm really curious. Interested to see if your stuff is basically the same as I've read other places, people say their health has improved and doctors are the proof of if this is better for us or not.
  7. I take effexor to help me sleep and started vaping a month ago, so far no issues here. My husband (who has COPD) and uses inhalers and takes chantix has finally started vaping and he's sleeping much better at night, in fact I think he's waking up in the middle of the night less having fewer coughing fits.
  8. I just read a really good article on Ashtray blog. It talks about a man who had a really high white blood count and smoked he had tried the routine stop smoking that the medical professionals suggest with no luck. This man started using an e-cigarette and his white blood count dropped dramatically. It's a really interesting read, and should go a long way in towards the medical community to quit saying such bad things about e-cigarettes. There are some other articles on the site that are just as informative one I read about if there even is such a thing as second-hand vapor. I'll post the links to both articles here for anyone else that wants to read them. 9. The bottom line is, the government is losing money from all of us not buying analogs anymore and they have to find someway to make up that money. They didn't tax cigarettes so high because they want us off of them, but because we are addicted to them and they knew we'd pay. I'm sure if the government could find a way to do it they'd tax each and everyone of us for breathing.
  10. I just took a quick look around your site, really great selection and I love the option of having a sample pack and the price seems very reasonable for samples. I may just have to try some of these out and see what wonderful flavors you have. Oh and welcome to VT
  11. The only reason the FDA is trying to get e-cigs listed as tobacco is because the government couldn't get them controlled claiming they were a medication. My thought here is if they can't tax them and make money off of them then they will try to ban them. Forget the fact that they are allowing us to keep more of our hard earned money since we don't pay big tobacco or the taxes the government has imposed on them, and the fact that we feel better since we quit (or drastically cut down) our addiction to cigarettes. After all if the government can't make money off of us they see no reason to try and encourage us to be healthy by choosing the healthier alternative to get nicotine.
  12. My husband was diagnosed with early stage emphysema a few years ago and since then he's been telling me that in order for him to quit smoking I need to quit. I can't say that I was ever into the idea of quitting because to be honest I enjoyed smoking. But I bought a couple of the n-joy kits about 5 years ago and gave it a shot, needless to say that was a complete flop what I enjoyed about smoking just wasn't there. Then he was gone in Afghanistan for a few years so I didn't worry about trying to quit. He returned home about a year ago and he's being treated by the VA, well they finally gave him Chantix (I'm not so sure he really wants to quit). My daughter has a friend on facebook who was talking about this place she found local (Buckeye Vapors). I went and checked out what they had to offer..so much has changed since I bought the first n-joy's and for the better. I ended up spending almost $200 to get us both set up with stuff to start these are so much better the liquid with cartomizers is so much better than the other stuff I get the throat hit think that's what was missing before. First few days I went from 2 packs a day to 5 analogs a day had the typical sore throat for about 2 weeks woke up one morning and it was gone. My husband on the other hand, we've gone back to Buckeye Vapors and got him other flavors, stronger nicotine I've tried to explain to him about the sore throat and that if he'd just cut way back on the analogs and only use the e-cig and give it two weeks the sore throat would be gone but he doesn't believe me. I can't believe I've figured out how I can quit (the reluctant one) and he's still going at the analog cigarettes. I'm not giving up my e-cigs it's nice to be able to breath when I wake up in the morning without the stuffy head and it's easier to breath period. Wish me luck on this journey because I think it's going to be a rough one to help him get him off the analogs and onto something that will be better for him.
