  1. I agree with you Compenstine. I use 30ga for all my twisted builds.
  2. Thanks for the great knowledge and ideas everyone. I also am of the opinion of non telescoping mod with different tubes for each battery configuration. Now with that being said I do love the v3tronix flip as it is quite different and has the ability to adjust from an 18650 with a kick, an 18650 without a kick, an 18500 with or without a kick. The cool thing is that it only takes a few twists to get into each configuration. A huge plus in my book.

    RBA

There are a lot of RBA's out in the market.

  5. Just google vision vamo and plenty of links come up. Plenty of youtube video's out there as well. I believe the differences are just upgraded electronics and a few cosmetic changes. Nothing ground breaking. Happy hunting.
  6. I wouldn't say that RBA/RDA's are king as looks and taste are both subjective. I would assume that majority of the rebuilding community would think that they are the best thing since sliced bread, however I think the majority of the vaping community as a whole are not into rebuilding and are quite happy to call their various devices "clearomizer's" as "king".
  7. RBA= Rebuildable Atomizer RDA=Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer
  8. This is a great idea. But sheesh. Its so expensive and I will bet that trying to get one will be next to impossible.
  9. Or maybe even an engraved wooden tube mod lined with SS that has SS or brass accents.
  10. The cost of the device would have to be kept down to a reasonable price. The device would also have to be able to be used with both of the kicks currently in the market. I hope that they come up with a kick that capable of a 20 watt output (did I read somewhere that this may be in the works already?).
  11. I like the zodiak themed series idea. This would really make it personal for everyone. Hand engraved or even a 3d engraved to assist with making it more difficult or costly to clone on a large scale.
  12. Thanks VD77. Now that's what I'm talking about! These are some great idea's. Keep them coming folks. After I get enough I will compile them and send them his way to see what he thinks.
  13. Hahahaha. My kick's cost more than most of my mods. But I love the idea of taking out the guts (kick) from a particular device and putting it into another one. Can't do that with an electrical device. Different mechanical devices to satisfy my mood for the day and with the cheap mechanicals that are as good as some of the originals equals a win win in my book. Now that's flexibility that I love.
  14. A good friend of mine has been a mechanical engineer with a reputable company for a very long time. He holds a few different patents. We were speaking about some of my mods and it has really sparked his interest. He says that he has access to professional machining equipment from folks he works with and would be interested in assisting me in coming up with a design for a tube mod, sorry mechanical only at this point. He has thrown out the idea that carbon fiber and stainless steel might work. It sounds cool to me but I'm still new to the vaping scene. Do any of you have idea's or would be willing to throw some idea's my way. If I can come up with something he said he might give it a try. What do you all think?
  15. IMedic I guess your right. Now that I am having some decent RBA/RDA's coming in and if I like them I may order a setup for each mod separately. Perhaps EHPro or Tobeco will make a Kayfun lite with some brass accents that would pair nicely with my KTS. That would really rock.
  16. Welcome to VT. Like the old saying...."Every journey begins with a single step". You've made the right choice to quit the analogs. Everyone here is willing to assist you in your vaping journey and support you (mentally) should you ever have the desire to return to the stinkies.
  17. I almost bought the Frenilla but opted for the H1N1 and a resupply of the Custards Last Stand. I tried the Creme Brulee but my on and off vaping wife stole it (I like the CLS much more though). Nicoticket is definitely one of my favorite vendors.
  18. I whole heartedly agree IMedic. The only have 2 original products that I own are the...the Silver Bullet and the V3Tronix Flip (xmas give from my wife or I might have not paid the outrageous price). All others KTS, electric angel (EHPro), and Nemesis are clones as well as my Trident RDA clone. I love the clones and these days many are performing almost as well if not as well. I will probably end up selling my KTS as I don't use it much anymore.
  19. I bought an I Clear 30 the other day from a local B&M and vaped it for a couple of hours and was impressed. Since I like to rebuild I youtubed it and found the above video and tried following it. For the life of me I was not able to get the plastic grommet back on and after about a hour gave up. It is super hard and for the effort is just not worth it.
  20. Just got in my Trident Clone, got it set up with a single micro coil atm and its vaping great. The taste is so much better...almost too good that makes it almost tastes different. My vaping journey has just improved. Now just waiting on my kayfun lite/russian 91% and aqua clones to get in.
  21. I use organic cotton (bought from Walgreens) for all of my builds in my KPT2. Personally I find that a tight and slightly larger (larger than the original flavor wicks) strand of cotton works best. I can tell when I don't get it right because after a quarter tank I start to get the gurgles. I Immediately remove the flavor wick, blow out all excess juice and then replace the flavor wick. This normally works wonders for me. Note: I have read that some folks do use the end of Q-tips. I would personally avoid regular cotton that our women use for their nails as it is bleached and stuff. If you do use this then make sure to boil it properly. Like I said above I use organic cotton and I have never boiled it before I use it, I guess I'm just to lazy and like to live a little dangerously. I would always suggest boiling the organic cotton to anyone else. Oh and dont forget to saturate the cotton flavor wick or it will burn immediately and give you a mouthful of the most awful tasting crap in your mouth. Been there done that and it only takes once to forget.
  22. Advise well taken on the batteries Spydre. I've seen the video in the other post. That's super scary.
