I'm reading many of you mix your usage of analogs and Electronic Cigarettes....

For you that use Electronic Cigarettes and smoke Analogs as well, BEWARE!!! Using both in conjunction can be highly toxic and can cause a serious harmful reaction by your body, inducing you with NICOTINE POISONING. I have been the victim of nicotine poisoning twice now, once due to mixing my use of analogs and Electronic Cigarettes, and another time due to too much nicotine consumption (I vaped way too much which I first got my Tornado, 24mg juice to boot). Nicotine poisoning can be fatal, and is also referred to one of the worst momentary sicknesses there is. It can be compared to EXTREME food poisening that lasts for an extended 5-7 days, the first 3 days being critically severe. Please be careful people! I am only posting this in regards for your safety! I suffered nicotine poisoning because I did not know that mixing analogs and e cigs were toxic to your body. I also did not know the limits of nicotine comsumtion when I first started using my Tornado. Take this as a warning and keep things in moderation, always.

At first I thought it was food poisoning, thought I had eaten bad food from Del Taco... I went to the doctors, they told me I had Gastroenteritis (which I did have, but is a side effect of nicotine poisoning), which is inflamation of the stomach/intestines, usually caused by food poisoning and did not once think I had nicotine poisoning (I did explain I use an E cig and is quitting smoking analogs). I actually asked the doctors for an IV to help my severe dehydration by they declined my request saying I will be fine. BULL ******* ****!!! I was so pissed off to hear TWO Ph.Ds completely falsified my condition... A week later when I regained some energy, I studied up on my condition and concluded it was nicotine poisening 100% (PM or post if you would like details on my conclusion). So that makes me smarter than a Ph.D right? No it doesn't... but I find it truely sorry that I was able to conclude my own evidence in a few days over the opinions of two Ph.Ds who could not identify the severity of my condition what-so-ever. (I remember my urine sample was really dark, as dark as ive ever seen it, the doctor said "Hmm, you need to drink some more fluids son". And I wanted to say, "Well no **** doc, the human body cannot retain any fluids if intoxicated with nicotine poisoning". But anyway I wasn't worthy of an IV in their opinion... yet when it came down to it, I was probably one of the most viable patients in need of an IV.

If you begin to vomit and you taste an extremely bitter, disgusting taste, that may be a sign that your body is intoxicated with nicotine poisoning. If you think or know you have nicotine poisoning, your should seek medical attention immediately, and make sure you clarify specifically that you have nicotine poisoning... You will be treated differently.
However I did not seek any medical attention during my first sickness (which was much more severe than the second time and also from using analogs and e cigs in conjunction with eachother) for I thought it was only extreme food poisening that will pass in a few days. I stayed in bed, completely immobilized for 3 days and rested the next 5 days going to the doctors office once. When the nicotine poisioning symptoms went away, I immedieately got a horrible cold (lots of mucus in chest and head) that lasted for 3 weeks. The entire nicotine poisoning sickness DESTROYED my immune system. I then got a series of smaller/inferior chest colds or sinus colds.

I am now just getting my body back to 100% health. It has taken me 3 months to fully recover from what started out at Nicotine Poisoning.
It is now the end of March(30th), the initial sickness began in late December (25th). Yes, I got nicotine poisoning on Christmas Day. I missed all the holliday events including New Years, it was very disappointing...

Ignorance is bliss, knowledge is power.

    Thank you for your interest
Smoking cigarettes in conjunction with vaping Electronic Cigarettes can cause a nicotine overdose, for cigarettes already have a considerably high amount of nicotine in them. Ingestion of too many cigarettes or too much vaping alone can cause an overdose as well.
I did about a weeks worth (150+ hours) of initial study on nicotine poisoning and food poisoning shortly after the severity of my sickness died off. Since then I have been only educating myself further in this subject.

First off, vomiting when induced with nicotine poisoning can create an extremely bitter and unpleasant taste in your mouth, something more unique to nicotine poisoning than not. Other chemicals/toxins can cause similar effects but this is a commonly found symptom in nicotine poisoning. Nausia comes hand in hand with the vomiting, which can be felt at substancial degrees.

Nicotine poisoning has the ability to send the body into a moderate to severe epileptic seizure. I experienced the first noticable seizure of any kind in my life while intoxicated with nicotine poisoning, which I would classify as severe. It was the first day, I remember I was standing over the sink vomiting, shaking uncontrollably, then my breathing began to seriously flutter, causing me to slightly panic and flee the room immediately, bringing me down a short hall into a room I hardly ever enter, where I lost complete control of my body, falling to my knees, collapsing to the ground unable resist, where I began to start foaming at the mouth. Luckily my girlfriend was there to help me and roll me onto my side (so all the foam/saliva could drain from my mouth), without her (if I were alone), I do believe the severity of this case would have been greatly amplified... hcaorppa no saw htaeD...

The difficulty in breathing is notorious with nicotine poisoning. Feeling as if you were going to pass out then snap back into it constantly... It could be explained as gasping for air and not getting any, only contracting your throat and lungs. This goes hand in hand with the vomiting. Also, severe coldsweats come with the breathing difficulties. I experienced more coldsweats while vomiting/diarrhea than when trying to rest. I have experienced many coldsweats throughout my life(all drug related) and the coldsweats that I got from nicotine poioning topped them all. Coldsweats at these levels usually cause the body to sporadically change body temperatures. One moment you will be pouring sweat, feeling like the sun is going to burn you alive, then suddenly a serious drop in body temperature can occur. This can be felt externally as well as internally.

Now here's for the gross part. The amount of diarrhea and vomit your body will produce is absolutely disgusting. It will go beyond the point of pure liquid diarrhea, your body will reject any kind of fluids that are being entered when the nicotine poisoning is fresh (first 4 days). Your body will most likely rid itself of all fluids at this point, meaning any food and waste will come out too. This means you will be vomiting and diahhreaing until it is nothing but liquid, then you will experience those two simutaniously, many of the times it being projectile like. I was unaware that you are not to induce vomiting while intoxicated with nicotine poisoning. I was doing this often and also drinking lots of fluids. You are not supossed to eat or drink ANYTHING while intoxicated with nicotine poisoning. I did not handle the situation correctly since my girlfirend and I misdiagnosed myself initially. The first day, I was vomiting/diarrhea for 8 hours straight NO BREAKS INBETWEEN. Severe cases of nicotine poisoning, like myself, are relentless and cruel, not stopping to recover or feel better, how I said nicotine poisoning has been described as one of the worst short lived sicknesses.

Severe stomach pains will be felt in the stomach and small intestine. I was diagnosed with gastroenteritis by the doctor, which is inflamation of the gastrointestinal tract. Gastroenteritis is a cause of acute diarrhea, explained above ^^. Gastroenteritis is usually caused (50%) by food bourne illness but can also be caused by an ample amount of a toxin running through the body.

During this entire sickness, you will find yourself running at appx 25% physical energy, the fatigue will set in. I could barely walk up and down my stairs, I moved as little as possible. It was also extremely uncomfortable to lay in bed, there was no comfortable position for me, the body is in constant aching pain... (I have a nice bed too). I constantly felt extremely fatigued no matter what I did.
The mental clarity of the mind is altered when intoxicated with nicotine poisoning. I felt some what delerious (nothing too bad) also, I couldn't focus, had a serious lack of attention, and sometimes I would talk about something that really made no sense at all.

So with some research, all of these symptoms are commonly found in nicotine poisoning, which is different from the rest of the sicknesses out there. Nothing is quite like nicotine poisoning, the only comparable subjects being extreme cases of food poisoning or a similar intoxication of a similar chemical/toxin.
Speaking with other nicotine poisoning victims helped me justify my cause even further. Basically at that point, all of my conditions were validated. Everything I explained here was commonly found in other nicotine poisoning victims, some of them properly diagnosed and some not like myself. Of course these are not all of the details... but I am not going to walk you guys through everything

    Facts about nicotine poisoning:
-Causes an extremely bitter, unpleasant taste in the mouth (somewhat unique)
    -Lasts 5-10 days
    -Moderate to severe seizures
    -Considerable breathing difficulty
-Critical body temperature fluctuation along with severe coldsweats
-Causes extreme nausia, vomiting, and diarrhea (Gastroenteritis is a part of this)
-Extreme fatigue and constant painful body aches (can cause delerium)
-This sickness can be identified as something greater than the traditional stomach flu or food poisoning.

To fully conclude my theories, the second time I experienced these symptoms was when I first got my TW Tornado and I vaped about 30 drops of 5 different 24mg juices in less than an hour... I was then able to link my evidence together and conclude my thoughts. The second nicotine poisoning experience was much less severe than the first time. I only threw up for about an hour (tasted that extremely bitter disgusting taste, "A RED FLAG") and experienced minor fluctuations in body temperature. Other than that, there was not much else to document, but I was able to immediately identify the cause. Many of you may have felt something closer to this experience here? Maybe not, but my first case of nicotine poisoning was most definitely severe.

    OMG,

I am shocked! I cannot stand how corrupt these people are here in N.Y., more so than any other State, and to base it on lies, not uncommon for N.Y. They want us to pay their ridiculous taxes. What snakes!

We need to give them a taste of their own medicine.

As far as I can tell, the U.S. Court of Appeals reinstated the FDA authority merely to stop entering the Country March 2010.

Here is one main dispute about how to regulate them:

They cannot decide if they should be regulated as tobacco products, rather than drug or medical devices. Also the original case has NOT been exhausted from the lower Courts to the higher Courts over jurisdiction of the product.

Please remember there is still time to fight this by directly calling or faxing your elected officials and to tell them how this device has helped you and to dispute them and what they claim are facts.

This Bill still needs to pass the Senate and subsequently within a matter of so many days depending on the votes to be signed by the governor to become an active Law on the Books.

    See:

HOW A BILL BECOMES A LAW IN New York STATE

    http://www.bcnys.org.../sb/billlaw.htm

"Many believe that the FDA was reluctant to take legal action as long as its jurisdiction over the product was being challenged in court, and especially after a lower court judge questioned the agency's authority. However, now that the Court of Appeals has issued an order reaffirming the agency's power over e-cigarettes -- at least until the current case in the higher court is concluded -- the agency may feel that they have to be more aggressive and crack down on the growing market."

    http://en.wikipedia....ronic_cigarette

    January 2010

In January 2010, federal judge Richard J. Leon ordered the FDA to stop blocking the importation of electronic cigarettes from China, and indicated that the devices should be regulated as tobacco products, rather than drug or medical devices: "[...] With the passage of landmark tobacco legislation last year, the FDA's new tobacco division will be able to regulate the contents and marketing claims of e-cigarettes, in the same way it is about to begin regulating traditional tobacco products. But the agency's drug division cannot ban the devices [...]". Richards mentioned in his reasoning that e-cigarettes were not marketed as medical devices to help smokers quit, as FDA had argued, but rather as safer substitutes to give users the "nicotine hit that smokers crave".[35] In February 2010, the FDA began an appeal of the ruling in a federal appeals court in Washington.[36]

    March 2010

However, as of March 2010, a US Court of Appeals reinstated the FDA's authority to stop e-cigarettes from entering the country. The agency said in its appeal that it has regulated nicotine products, including nicotine patches, for years under the drug and device provisions of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA). The agency argued that tobacco legislation enacted last year "expressly excludes from the definition of 'tobacco product' any article that is a drug, device or combination product under the FDCA, and provides that such articles shall be subject to regulation under the pre-existing FDCA provisions."[37]

It was then up to states until the FDA regulated what these devices were at the Federal Level to take their own action as did California. It was only going to be time before other states make their own interpretation, or demands and control as far as I see things, while other areas are still disputing it. The only reason I believe the FDA's first attempt to control it was faltered and was appealed was because of a Law Suit by an ecig company here in the U.S. and the various agencies attempts to define these devices and which agency will control them did not seem to agree.

You can read about the lawsuit here and interestingly why they cannot ban cigarettes as the Attorneys argued here link below, but can ban these!

    http://legaltimes.ty...e-embargo-.html

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed a bill that would have banned sales, stating "[...] If adults want to purchase and consume these products with an understanding of the associated health risks, they should be able to do so [...]"[38].
In New Jersey, legislators have started work on a proposal to ban the use of electronic cigarettes in all "no smoking areas" of the state.[39]
Please remember there is still time to fight this by directly calling or faxing your elected officials and to tell them how this device has helped you and to dispute them and what they claim are facts.

Possible Debate Issues to Bring up with Facts:

You may want to dispute that the various assemblymen that voiced their opinions that led to such votes against it taped on the Video Evidence were NOT BASED on any real conclusive facts and that they by rendering us to the alternatives will be causing all much more harm than good. I would suggest that they do their homework next time and I would counterclaim to them that the chemical they claim is in antifreeze is in fact approved by the FDA as a food additive and in fact already in many of our foods.

Ironically the Honorable Titonce did not even name the chemical he was speaking of that he believed to be found in antifreeze and ecig devices. Here is what I found. I either buy ejuice in made with PG and VG, along with distilled water possibly some may have nicotine in it and maybe some sort of tobacco flavoring, and or candy flavors. I believe a sort of tobacco essence and flavorings are used. If there are any others than it is not to my knowledge. I currently am even making some of my own ejuice out of the same ingredients mentioned minus the tobacco flavor and nicotine. I would like to hear from those who actually make and sell the ejuice to properly be able to dispute their claims, if there are any from the U.S. here. But here is the info on the two main possibly 3 ingredients I know of aside from Nicotine.

There was some argument that Diethylene glycol was found in only some of the cartridges, by only two venders. While this may be the case, and Diethylene glycol is listed as a dangerous substance, we need to dispute that it is common to these devices or the eliquids we buy for them or use.

    One possible tobacco essence:

    3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone

    http://www.chemicalb...N_CB5768714.htm

    PG: propylene glycol

    http://en.wikipedia....ropylene_glycol

    Quoted from therein:

    Applications
    Propylene glycol is used:

As a solvent in many pharmaceuticals, including oral, injectable and topical formulations. Notably, diazepam, which is insoluble in water, uses propylene glycol as its solvent in its clinical, injectable form.[5]

As a humectant food additive, labeled as E number E1520

As an emulsification agent in Angostura and orange bitters As a moisturizer in medicines, cosmetics, food, toothpaste, mouth wash, and tobacco products As a carrier in fragrance oils As an ingredient in massage oils In hand sanitizers, antibacterial lotions, and saline solutions In smoke machines to make artificial smoke for use in firefighters' training and theatrical productions In electronic cigarettes, it is used to deliver vaporized nicotine As a solvent for food colors and flavorings As an ingredient, along with wax and gelatin, in the production of paintballs As a moisture stabilizer (humectant) for snus (Swedish style snuff). As a cooling agent for beer and wine glycol jacketed fermentation tanks As a non-toxic antifreeze for winterizing drinking water systems, and in applications where the used antifreeze eventually will be drained into the soil, water, or a septic system.[6] As a less-toxic antifreeze in solar water heating systems As a solvent used in mixing photographic chemicals, such as film developers In cryonics As a working fluid in hydraulic presses As a coolant in liquid cooling systems To regulate humidity in a cigar humidor As the killing and preserving agent in pitfall traps, usually used to capture ground beetles As an additive to pipe tobacco to prevent dehydration. To treat livestock ketosis As the main ingredient in deodorant sticks. To de-ice aircraft.[7] As an ingredient in UV or blacklight tattoo ink Propylene glycol has properties similar to those of ethylene glycol (monoethylene glycol, or MEG). (Note: Infrequently propylene glycol may also use the acronym MEG, but as an abbreviation of methyl ethyl glycol- the industry standard acronym for propylene glycol is PG or MPG (monopropylene glycol)). The industrial norm is to replace ethylene glycol with propylene glycol when safer properties are desired.

"Anyone can easily see what's happening here. Big tobacco is using lobbying techniques, and is trying to use their power to manipulate our governments assembly and senate to doing their dirty work and stopping any competition in the industry. Hopefully democracy proves to be stronger then capitalism in this matter because there is 4,000,000 of 8,000,000 smokers whose lives will be saved in the next 20 years because of the electronic cigarette, according to a letter written to the FDA from the American Association of Public Health Physicians."

Please tell them next time to get their facts straight. As far as the Honorable Titonce's story about a child being able to get these devices over the Internet that carries nicotine, please ask him what child he has given a creditcard to in order to buy such a thing, and what parent is not watching what their kids on doing online, as well as to show us just one ecig website that does not ask if you under or over 18 before entering?

If they are so worried about children on the Internet than maybe they should do something about porn websites or either stop watching porn themselves on our dime instead of doing any real labor, while trying to control what we do as adults.

We are not going to pay for their outright hypocritical views and actions any more while they pick our pockets. We have woken up to their thievery of our pockets as well as any types of ingenuity that save us from their taxes, their control and the various CORPS PAYING THEM to enact laws to KILL us, as well as and their attempts to make some logic out of the ridiculous.

Example, if they are really so worried about our health, and we are in fact buying these devices because not only are they safer, and cheaper, but save ourselves from the thousands of carcinogens deliberately put into tobacco products, then why do they allow us to eat food that contains aspertain proven to shut down all of our organs and cause Cancer, beef with hormones that effect our biology in negative ways, or Monsanto with bioengineered seeds and grains with effects altering our very genes in such a way that we will never be able to reverse any adverse effects and all kinds of additives that are killing us! When should we ever trust such arrogant, corrupt and greedy people ever again to control our health much less their attempts to look or act sane anymore! (THIS PART, JUST MY ANGRY RANT, LOL!)

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO MENTION ALL THE FIRES THAT OCCUR AS A RESULT OF CIGARETTES AND LOSS OF LIFE AND HOW THESE DEVICES WILL PHYSICALLY SAVE LIVES AND PROPERTY UNLESS THEY FORCE US BACK TO CIGARETTES.

ALSO MENTION THAT CIGARETTES HAVE OVER 4,000 chemical agents, including over 60 carcinogens AND 599 additives that are very dangerous and approved by the US Government for use in the manufacture of cigarettes is something every smoker should see, yet it is illegal to ban them!

This post is meant to let all of you in New York know that this is not even remotely close to being over. Even if it passes the Senate, it still is _not_ over.

Recently in Illinois we went through the same thing due to SB3174. However, the majority of the outcry against the bill didn't even take place until after it was passed by the Senate. Our bill had moved fairly fast, and this is the reason most people didn't even realize what had happened until it was already on it's way to the House. Yet in the end we were able to defeat the bill for the time being. S7234 is not as far along as ours was and therefore you have even more time to fight it than we had.

To give you an idea of what happened in Illinois I'll list the time line below. I am including the steps taken by the citizens of Illinois in protest of the bill as they happened.

    3/10/2010 Senate Third Reading - Passed; 049-004-000
    3/11/2010 House Arrived in House
    ------

It was at this point that most of the E-Cigarette users in Illinois had first heard of the bill. There were many here that may have thought it was too late at that point to even fight it. Letter's went out to representatives and authors of the bill from concerned Illinois citizens. And as was found later, letters of protest came in from people living in other states as well.

Further people were alerted after an article was run by the Chicago Tribune.

3/11/2010 House Chief House Sponsor Rep. Marlow H. Colvin
3/11/2010 House Placed on Calendar Order of First Reading
    3/11/2010 House First Reading

3/22/2010 House Assigned to Human Services Committee
3/23/2010 House Added Alternate Co-Sponsor Rep. Naomi D. Jakobsson

On 4/14 a hearing was scheduled in Springfield. In a fairly impressive show of protest, Illinois E-Cigarette users attended the hearing and were given a chance to speak against the bills passage. It was noted that the officials at the hearing seemed to take what was being said to heart and perhaps even begin to question their own reasons for signing the bill in the first place.

The hearing ended with no final decision and a preliminary date for a follow up hearing was listed to take place on 4/21.

On 4/15 there was yet another update to the status of the bill as the chair of the Human Services Committee removed her name as a Co-Sponsor of SB3174.

4/15/2010 House Alternate Co-Sponsor Removed Rep. Naomi D. Jakobsson

The plan after this was to show for the following week's hearing in even greater number than the first. Surprisingly enough, it didn't even get that far as no notification was given that SB3174 would even be called on 4/21.

    4/23/2010 House Rule 19(a) / Re-referred to Rules Committee

On the 23rd it was essentially dismissed from the current senate session as explained by Rule 19(a). And in the end a follow-up hearing wasn't even needed. It can pop up again if it is re-introduced in a future session but as of now we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Anyhow, I just thought those of you in New York would like to see how the same situation panned out here in Illinois. Even if just to give you a little more hope when it comes to your chances of defeating the bill.

On my end, I will be writing a letter or three as a concerned Illinois citizens in support of E-Cigarette users in New York.

Some of the newer members may not be aware of the ongoing FDA Vs. Smoke Everywhere & NJOY Case. So here is a summery that was put together by Sun from ECF.

This is an action sounding in equity. In April of 2009, Smoking Everywhere, Inc.(SE) filed suit against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), to "stop FDA from improperly exceeding its delegated authority by attempting to regulate electronic cigarettes" to the extent that FDA declared such products to be a new drug and/or new drug device combination. SE further alleges that FDA exceeded its statutory authority by adding SE’s products to an FDA Import Alert list, thus allegedly preventing their admittance into the United States.

In addition to the Complaint, SE filed a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction Motion. SE claims that its electronic cigarette allows people to inhale vaporized nicotine without the cancer causing agents found in cigarettes. SE claims that the Electronic Cigarette is a "tobacco product"

SE contends that FDA exceeded its authority by claiming that electronic cigarettes are combination drug/device products that require FDA approval. SE argues that Congress has clearly indicated that FDA does not have the authority to regulate tobacco products relying in part on the holding in FDA v. Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., 529 U.S. 120 (2000). SE also pleads that FDA lacks the authority to regulate electronic cigarettes because they are not drug delivery devices.

Soon to follow, NJOY, Inc. filed a Motion it Intervene in the case which was granted and advanced, for the most part, the same allegations as SE,
The FDA was quick to counter SE and NJOY and filed a brief in opposition to SE's Motion. contending that electronic cigarettes are indeed both a drug and a device, and that Brown does not exempt them from FDA’s jurisdiction. Additionally, FDA argues that SE’s marketing practices purport that electronic cigarettes are intended to "prevent, treat, or mitigate the withdrawal symptoms of nicotine addiction," thereby squarly placing them within the FDA's jurisdiction as this would consitute a "drug" subject to full regulation.

The FDA was also quick to dispute SE’s claim that the Brown Court forecloses FDA regulation of all nicotine products in general, stating that Brown only foreclosed regulation of tradional tobacco products and the electronic cigarette simply can not enjoy the sanctity of the Brown holding as it is not a traditional tobacco product, but rather a nicotine deliver system.

In the interim of the filing of this action by SE, On June 22, 2009, the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control was signed into law. This historic legislation granted authority to regulate tobacco products to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The Honorable Justice, Richard J. Leon, who is assigned this case in Federal District Court in Washington D.C. requested a rehearing and further briefing from the parties after the enactment of this litigation. This delayed SE’s and NJOY’s request for injunctive relief right though the summer and into the fall.

In September, ASH filed an Amicus Curiae (Friend of the Court) Brief in Support of the FDA, followed by another Amicus Curiae Brief filed ad hoc by a group of E-cigarette users called the Alliance.

On January 14, 2010, some 10 months after this litigation was first filed, the Honorable Judge Leon issued a ruling, granting SE and NJOY a Preliminary Injunction against the FDA to stop the FDA embargo against SE and NJOY’s products coming into the United States. See Attachment 7111.

The FDA quickly requested an Interlocutory Appeal and a Stay of Judge Leon’s ruling.

On February 2, 2010, the Appeals Court (DC Circuit), issued an Administrative Stay of Judge Leon’s ruling and on March 31, 2010, the Court granted the FDA’s Request for a Stay of Judge Leon’s ruling pending the Appeal. The Court also denied SE’s and NJOY’s Motion to Strike the Stay.

We pick up the Case at this juncture on Appeal.

    CONSIDERATIONS:

No matter how the Appeals Court or Judge Leon rules, the e-cigarette is going to be subject to regulations. If the Court determines the E-cigarette to be a "tobacco" product, the FDA will not be able to ban it, but would be able to make reasonable regulations such as no flavorings and a reduction in nicotine levels. The FDA can also mandate many other reasonable regulations such as possibly tamper proof and "dose specific" cartridges thereby rendering bulk e-liquid banned.

Should the Court find that the E-cigarette is in fact a medical device and drug combination, then the FDA can ban the E-cigarette until the requisite applications are made by Manufactures or Suppliers and studies are done in an effort to gain FDA approval which is a very time consuming and costly venture with no guarantees of approval.

So every business day that the Court is open, I will be checking the Docket Sheet and reporting here what, if anything happened with the case as this case will ultimately determine the future of our Electronic Cigarettes and how we use them.

The situation is indeed one of great concern to all who use the electronic cigarette as an alternative.

HA what a way to spend some tax dollars. This is absolutely unbelievable... this subject matter is the kind of stuff that pushes people to the convergence of anarchy... this truely leaves people stunned with a gaping void for respect to our government. What they're doing isn't even legal in fullest terms, one could fight this and win in a court of law, which I'm sure many vendors are doing so now.

Not saying this is going to cause something like the LA riots... but this here has potential to go way over the top. Whether or not the FDA has been issued a warrant, I believe this to be a true act of violation to the fourth amendment.

I'm flabbergasted. And having a hard time believing that the US Customs dept is spending this much time and this much of *MY* tax money on seizing a shipment of personal vaporizers and nicotine liquid when there are plenty of other things out there that are legitimate threats to myself and my family.

I guess it was only a matter of time though.

I won't go into the debates regarding what I feel is right for my family and I to use and consume, because there's just no point now. But this is utter ********, and I'm having a really hard time understanding how easily they can cast me off to die from smoking cigarettes. "Personal vaporizers are the devil so go smoke cigarettes intead, get cancer, and die like the dog that you are". **** you FDA.

    This is ******* ****.

As much as I'd like to start blasting letters off to congressmen wishing that they die from the same slow and painful death that they are now wishing upon us, I just can't do it. Instead, I'll start sending letters to the congressmen in my state thanking them for not falling into the same level of ignorance that others have in the states that are now considering banning personal vaporizers.

So I now say, "Thank you congressmen of Oklahoma, for not wishing that myself and my friends and family members die a slow death from tobacco related cancer. Thank you for not trying to ban personal vaporizers in our state and this great union, and allowing me the freedom to choose how I wish to free myself from my tobacco addiction and not affect those around me anymore with second hand smoke. Thank you congressmen, for allowing me to use personal vaporizers instead of having to resort to products that have been proven to have a less than 30% rate of success in quitting the use of tobacco cigarettes. Thank you congressmen for allowing me the choice to not use medications that have been clinically proven to increase my chance of suicide, depression, aggression, and death.

Typically I'm neither religious nor patriotic in the common sense of those words. But I'll say it now: God bless the United States of America. God bless me and my family. God bless anyone trying to better themselves and to better their health and the health of those around them. May the spirit of our founding fathers prevail, and lead us through this grotesque and dark time when the FDA can blindly curtail the freedoms bestowed upon us by men of free will.

    God bless us all.

If you are working 6-10 hour shifts I highly recommend an eGo. I use a Totally Wicked Tornado(same thing) and I get fantastic battery life out of it. I cycle between 3 batteries and keep them as charged up as possible at all times(vape about an hour or two then switch batteries). This keeps the voltage output at maximum strength, for when the batteries charge begins to die down, so does the voltage output. This voltage taper off can be found much more commonly with standard 510 batteries as compared to eGo batteries, but the same principles apply to both.

But anyways, an eGo charge should last you a days work, if not it will probably last close to the end of your shift.

An absolutely incedible juice... A smooth tobacco overtoned by a sweet yet distinct caramel flavor. The tobacco runs smoothly as the caramel finishes the hit with that decadent "caramel topping". A smooth and moderate throat hit makes it an excellent choice for an all day vape. I ordered a 5ml bottle of this and found myself back at their site ordering a 30ml bottle two days later. It's THAT GOOD I **** you not. Two of my buddies also tried this stuff out and love it more so than anything else they have tried.

I spelled caramel wrong in the title... and I can't fix it?? CMON!!!

To dry burn a 510 atty, simply rinse with water, blow out both ends to get it somewhat dry, screw the atty into a battery, then energize the atty for at least 8 seconds while blowing into it. Repeat the last step about 4 more times. If all goes well, you will see an orange glow each time, and it will get brighter each time. Then, either direct drip or insert a cart. Works like a charm.

The amount of nicotine(mg) in an eliquid bottle is measured per ml. For every one ml of eliquid, there is (x)mg of nicotine, 26mg in your case. Your 10ml bottle of 26mg nicotine contains 260mg of nicotine in total. Mathematically, you are consuming 37.14 mg/1.43ml of nicotine per day by vaping a 10ml bottle of 26mg eliquid per week. But not all of the nicotine is absorbed when vaping (no official studies have been made on this but it is said to be roughly 60-80%). But basically you have doubled your nicotine consumption.

I'm sure there will be many opinions and personal experiences posted in this topic, therefor this is my best advice for you.

When it comes to the smaller electronic cigarette personal vaporizers (PVs), I would say the Totally Wicked Tornado/Janty eGo is a fine choice for a fine price ($80 kit). I have a review of the PV in the Reviews section of the forums as well as a big vapor production montage in the videos section (I'll post links for you). It is a 3.7 volt device which around the average of these simpler devices. There are also higher voltage PVs that are much more powerful but I have no experience with them. There are also low resistance atomisers which make a traditional 3.7 volt operate closer to the power of a 5 volt PV, again I do not have any experience with these (but mine are in the mail)

As far as juices go, I'd say it is more personal preference to what you like (PG or VG wise) and what setups you would be using. But I can recommend these companies Vapor Talk, Wet Your Stick, and Totally Wicked eliquids; great variety and solid customer satisfaction and service.

@Guineahill: How you said, "Some people just need more time than others. And some need more help. And some will probably never take to it. But I'm going to do my part to spread the word!" that is a very well rounded display of thought. This sounds like the basic principles behind my motivation, and everyone handles their business differently.

Many people will naturally turn a blind eye to Electronic Cigarettes, thinking they are "bad" because they have nicotine and your body is relying off a substance (or for whatever similar reasons). This is a very generalized statement but suprisingly many individuals fall into this category. I feel it is my job to pull some of these people out of the darkness and truely enlighten them on the reality of Electronic Cigarettes and their monumental bennefits.
