  1. Good stuff Hurricane, I tried this method on one of my dead attys after reading this, finding it to start working but only in part. My buddy actually flooded this atomiser with literally 20 drops of eliquid (my VT Grape Soda to boot...) He said he couldn't see any drops coming out at first... DOH! Anyways I got a good orange glow to come back after 5 rinse and repeat methods but an insufficient amount of vapor was being produced to get any kind of a hit.
  2. Highly agreed, as I have already given you my opinion on the Tornado Jerimy. It is a great device for the money. Also, check out the new low res attys, they just turned my Tornado around from a mad man into a ******* unstoppable force! Yes I am a bit excited over these but you will find many people share the same views as me regarding these low res attys.
  3. kjdhksdsdbsjdb!!!!!!!! WOW these are incredible! These things are so good I don't even know what to write about them. HUGE vapor and amazing taste out of some high voltage juice I picked up. It can almost be for certain I will never use a regualr atty again. I'll add more details and opinions later on. Edit- Menthol users get on your horses, heaven has been located. Edit- I have never used any kind of device rated at 5v, so this is one hell of a vape for me. I'm going to throw up a video review of this later tonight, thinking of doing a side by side comparison with my standand/mega 510 atty.
  4. Edit- If your passthrough is running near 5v or higher, the passthrough fried your atty. Low quality attys are not intended for use at higher voltages.
  5. Do the math and figure out if you really are getting more or less nicotine by vaping, I have provided a simple formula below. I'm curious to know why you think we get less nicotine from vaping than what we believe to be so. I do agree with you about the placebo effect, I believe that plays a big part in the success of people quitting smoking cigarettes to vaping. Also, a nicotine addiction is not the same as a general cigarette addiction, for one may find the need to smoke much greater than the need to vape. Nicotine consumption formula: Amount of liquid [ml] (x) Amount of nicotine [mg] (y) Total amount of nicotine in bottle (t) Days it takes to consume fully (d) x(y) = t t/d = Amount of nicotine (mg) consumed per day. x/d = Amount of liquid (ml) comsumed per day. Roughly 60-80% of nicotine is absorbed by vaping.
  6. There is a slew of great atomisers out there although they would most likely not be compatible with your Gamucci. For starters, check out the 510 attys, they are highly popular and reliable. I'm sure there will be some great feed back on here shortly.
  7. I couldn't agree with you more about your 4 stated points, especially the act of smoking. Even as a little kid loved "blowing smoke" when it was chilly outside, I'll never forget how much fun I had with that . I also managed to inhale only half a pack a day, too many analogs just made me feel like crap. At the same time I was a weekend smoker like you, but instead of the bars the casino was my place to be. Like a bar, it's cigarettes galore in there... to the point where it just doesn't feel right to not be smoking! lol And don't ever feel like your rambling on, you established some great points of interest in there; if you ever read some of my posts you'll see I go on and on and on about some of the stuff I talk about! LOL
  8. Liberty Flights eliquids contain: Propylene glycol (75%) 3-methylcyclopentane-1.2-dione (2.5%) 1-malic acid (3%) 2.3.5.6 tetramethylpyrazine (1.5%) 2.3.5-trimethylpyrazine (0.3%) beta-dainescenaone (?) (0.2%) acetylpyrazine (0.2%) 2-acetylpyradine,ethanol (10%) rhodium (0.3%) vanillin (2.5%) ethyl acetate (0.5%) ethyl maltol (1.0%) 2-methyl-butyric acid (0.5%). I'm not sure how many other companies use these substances (other than PG) in their juices, for all 5 of my other brand eliquids do not contain these these substances, at least they are not listed in the ingredients label (if present). Maybe these ingredients are in there but just not listed in detail like this? Can anyone clarify that for me? Or how about the man himself ?
  9. So I just wrote about this a few minutes ago only to find everything VANISHED once I clicked post topic... so this will now be short and sweet instead of extensive and informative. Menthol Blend is a mix of menthol/mint flavors with undertones of tobacco. The Menthol Blend eliquid from Liberty Flights is more minty than menthol and the tobacco flavors are somewhat hard to pick up. The minty flavor greatly overpowers the tobacco taste, only being able to taste the tobacco at the end of an exhale. The tobacco is a nutty and buttery taste (a good mix) but how I said, hard to pick up. If this eliquid wasn't called Menthol Blend, one may not even recognize the tobacco flavors. However, these are my personal observations, for somebody else might differ entirely about the mixture of menthol/mint and tobacco flavors based on their PV setups. All in all, this is a great eliquid, I would recommend this juice to any menthol user.
  10. Ok, after reading this and a few other posts regarding mods, I am now underway with creating my own mod. Great inspiration mcquinn!
  11. Something I do know about the Electronic Cigarette Industry, cheaper/knockoff products do tend to fail at much higher rates than those of similar high quality products. I have made the distinction of only purchasing the high grade of e cigs and their components. Although higher quality products are usually more expensive, this is not always the case here. Proper research should be taken into consideration when purchasing anything related to electronic cigarettes. This is a highly new industry with many new and upcoming products, which leaves room for deception and many poorly configured items without a big fat NO/BAD/INFERIOR stamped on them. Using better quality products can/will eliminate many problems for you by default.
  12. I love those RY4 kind of flavors, I have a couple different kinds; unique blends of flavors I have only found in vaping. Although I have yet to try the Dulcis (high on my list), I have ordered the Grape Soda from VT. It is fruity and it is sweet... but it is GOOD. Waiting for packages is always a downer... but it makes it that much better when you do pick it up Vapor Talk eliquids are of the highest quality among eliquids; I'm sure you will not have any issues regarding quality (nasty beer-like juices lol) with your VT order.
  13. Nicotine definitely helps me focus, a couple days without it, I feel like a veggie.
  14. Ding ding ding we have a winner! I can't agree with you more about our government... everything is part of a bigger picture hidden by deception.
  15. I'm sure there will be many opinions and personal experiences posted in this topic, therefor this is my best advice for you. When it comes to the smaller electronic cigarette personal vaporizers (PVs), I would say the Totally Wicked Tornado/Janty eGo is a fine choice for a fine price ($80 kit). I have a review of the PV in the Reviews section of the forums as well as a big vapor production montage in the videos section (I'll post links for you). It is a 3.7 volt device which around the average of these simpler devices. There are also higher voltage PVs that are much more powerful but I have no experience with them. There are also low resistance atomisers which make a traditional 3.7 volt operate closer to the power of a 5 volt PV, again I do not have any experience with these (but mine are in the mail) As far as juices go, I'd say it is more personal preference to what you like (PG or VG wise) and what setups you would be using. But I can recommend these companies Vapor Talk, Wet Your Stick, and Totally Wicked eliquids; great variety and solid customer satisfaction and service. Tornado review: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/4831-totally-wicked-tornado/page__p__42438__fromsearch__1&#entry42438 Big Vapor vid: Hope this helps you out, happy vaping.
  16. I have taken my TW Tornado through airport security at least 10 times now, all passing through an xray machine (many of the times alerting the attendants). I have not experienced any technical difficulties by sending my PV through xray security. I do know that xrays use electromagnetic waves which are not magnetic at all, meaning they are unable to harm any of your electronic devices. However, a metal detector is magnetic. A metal detector CAN disrupt and harm your electronics. So maybe it's the Mexican xray machines? lol Or maybe you walked through a metal detector? It could be something completely else but I hope this helps.
  17. The amount of nicotine(mg) in an eliquid bottle is measured per ml. For every one ml of eliquid, there is (x)mg of nicotine, 26mg in your case. Your 10ml bottle of 26mg nicotine contains 260mg of nicotine in total. Mathematically, you are consuming 37.14 mg/1.43ml of nicotine per day by vaping a 10ml bottle of 26mg eliquid per week. But not all of the nicotine is absorbed when vaping (no official studies have been made on this but it is said to be roughly 60-80%). But basically you have doubled your nicotine consumption.
  18. Not that I necessarily want the attention, I am analyzing how people react to the situation in general. You can distinguish a good deal of knowledge about human interactions based on how people react to a publicly displayed PV, regarless of the location. I find it is less likely for an adult (30+) to approach me about my PV over a younger (18+) person (yes there are many possible reasons). I am constantly around people closer to my age (18-25) most of the time due to college, but these observations have taken place in locations such as: Airports, bus stations, train stations, 3 Cal State universities, and shopping malls. I feel they are well rounded with a diverse group of ages and ethnicities.
  19. lol! the originality factor is definitely a 10!
  20. I haven't been flagged down by any law enforcement but I have tempered with authority... Up here in college I use my PV everywhere I go, including my class rooms and main public facilities. I have two lecture halls where my vaping basically goes unnoticed. In one of my two smaller classes (30 students), I asked my professor (classroom authority) if I could use my PV in class. We had a small debate over it until we settled on subtle use of my PV in class (I sit in the back anyway). Also in my dining hall(densely crowded area), I am always sure to use my PV. I want people to notice my presence of vaping (I spread the word up here); many people usually attentively look or come up and ask me questions, including some of the head staff members (dining hall authority). A time I remember most specifically was the dining hall admin approaching me about the PV I was using while sitting alone at a table. He asked questions regarding the vapor substance and how the basics of electronic cigarettes work. It was obvious he already knew of them but has also not seen one physically. I ended up talking with the guy for a good 10 minutes about e cigs and their bennifits over smoking and how my intent by purchasing my first e cig was to never quit smoking cigarettes in the first place, it just happened naturally. I had a lot of good information to share with him, another one added to my list!
  21. Sounds like your buddy doesn't have much self esteem or knowledge about e cigs... lol Vapor being tar free compared to smoke which is littered with tar... that's a beginning right there. It's not even so much that you need to cut back on consumption, it's all about regulating your bodies health.
  22. I was about to purchase a couple of these last night for my TW Tornado, only to find articles such as this one to steer me away. But I personally do not mind using my Tornado without the cover cone. Depending on the juice or how the atty is setup, I feel sometimes the Tornado works better with increased airflow.
  23. @Mike: I'm glad you are enjoying the wub wub wubs. Also, it should be known that dubstep is ALL ABOUT THE BASS. Dubstep produces the highest level of bass found in ANY kind of music. Proove me wrong if you disagree. If you are listening to Dubstep with low quality speakers/low bass or at a low volume, you are not utilizing dubstep for its intended use. You are literally missing the other 50% of the song... Heavy bass is a focal point of Dubstep music, part of the Dubstep genre that not many other genres have. CRANK THAT SHYYYT UUUUPP!!
  24. Well if that is that case, I am ready to combat it. The baisc theory behind my cannons would be without the existence of cigarettes this problem would have never occured, which could be taken in all kinds of defensive directions. And I really hope people aren't viewing this thread with a negative outlook in regards to something like that...
