I’m a 3ish week Vape Noob J Been scouring the Internet for information as there’s a lot of terms and such that confuse me. Please forgive me if I’m not using the correct terminology.
Anyway – here’s my story. I had been a smoker for 20 or so years and I quit roughly 4 years ago when my twins were born. There wasn’t a day that went by where I didn’t want a cig – and there were some occasions when I would break down and have one or two but for the most part I stayed a ‘non-smoker’. I started noticing more and more of my smoker friends were switching to vaping – I researched it from time to time but never really pursued it beyond that. A few weeks ago I was at my inlaws house and broke out this thing that looked like a flash light and started toking on it – I started picking his brain and became very interested. He had a spare Ego-C Twist with a Clearomizer (I believe they are called) loaded me up with some juice and we all went out of the night. I have to say one of the things I missed the most, especially in a social setting – drinks food etc.., was smoking. After the night was over I was convinced and was ready to jump in. The Bro-In-Law went ahead and re-loaded my juice and let me have the Ego-C Twist and off I went.
This past weekend I went to a Brick and Mortar Vape shop and I picked up a bottle of juice as well as a tank with a cartomizer – brother in- law had one of those Cone Adapter things and away I went. I was taught how to ‘prime’ the cartomizer in the tank (again I hope I’m using the correct verbage). I loaded the tank up and I loved the amount of vape, throat hit and flavor I was happy with my purchase.
After using the new setup for a few hours the juice started coming out of the tip – talk about nasty! Is this a common issue using the tank? I did try a new cartomizer this morning which didn’t help (prompted me to create this post)
Am I doing something incorrect or any hints or tips? I’m debating on going back to the Clearomizer as I never experienced the issue with those.
Thanks!
