To steep or not to steep... that IS the question!! Some do, some dont. However, I have found that a few days can make a difference. If I order a juice from a made to order vendor, I find that by the time it arrives, 3-5 days later) its usually melded (mixed, steeped) pretty good already. They are good vapes without any noticable flavor changes as the days pass. With that said, when I began mixing my own, I saw the importance of steeping.. Though it isnt easy to wait, a few steeping days make a HUGE difference. Flavors can seemingly taste disgusting or deemed as a failure right away while letting them sit, (shaking them often) blend and smooth the flavors for a more successful/ tasteful/ pleasurable vape. I know this doesnt answer your question, but hope that it gives you another opinion or perspective!

LUNG CAPACITY: I'm 79 years old and have been using the E-Cig for only 6 months. During my recent annual physical, the Spirometer test indicated that my lung capacity had almost doubled. Obviously, I'm quite pleased. For exercise, I bicycle every other day for about an hour, but last year's test showed no change so I must attribute my improvement to the E-Cig. HEART RATE: Vapping straight nicotine gives us that "hit" and I had concern about elevated levels when vapping. Using a digital heart monitor, I made numerous tests both before and during heavy hits, finding no significant difference, and on several occasions, a reduced heart rate which, I assume, was the calming effect of mild nicotine use. I use both 16mg and 18mg levels. For further improvement, the doctor recommended that I definitely continue biking inasmuch as the lung sacs that are now being purged require exercising to attain maximum capacity. For those of you who have experienced improved breathing using E-Cigs, I highly recommend regular exercise. I know, it's boring and hard to get into, but it's a lot like substituting E-Cigs for analogs -once into the benefits, you become a little obsessed with it. I'm older than most -if not all- of you and I do it. So can you.

Dragon's Blood w/extra flavor from EC Blends. It's the first flavor that I LOVE! I'll try the other flavors again after they have more time to steep. A few required a couple of days with the tops off to get rid of the perfume taste. Those were DeKang though.

Yeah, it did seem a little odd, but in their defense, I did ask them if they wanted me to send it back once they told me they'd ship out a replacement. To be honest, I kinda figured they'd say, "Nah...it's our bad...just keep it". Surely they won't resell it. It sort of creeps me out now that I think about a juice vendor taking returns.

In the future, if you send the wrong product to a customer, it's probably a good idea to just write it off and fast-ship the right product to them.

For those of you T3 users experiencing dry hits, try this advice from Steve K from his "Kanger T3 Bottom Coil eGo Clearomizer Review" :



"I found in pretty short order, the T3 would give dry hits if I didn’t wait a sufficient amount of time for the coil to re-wick. This was frustrating as I tend to prefer to vape several times in a row.

Fortunately, it turns out there’s a pretty simple modification that can be made to the gaskets to improve liquid absorption and eliminate much of the dry hits. I can’t take credit for this one, a hat tip goes to the good folks over on Reddit.

Unscrew the bottom cap. Remove the gasket that sits on the top of the atomizer, flip the gasket over so the flat side is covering the wicks and replace the gasket. Apparently the gasket in the stock configuration compresses the wicks when the two parts are screwed together. Flipping the gasket keeps it from moving down over the wicks and does not appear to cause additional leaking problems.

Once the hack was in place, I found the T3 much more tolerant to chain vaping. Occasionally, I had to slow down and wait for a few bubbles to appear from the atomizer area. However, those moments were fairly few and far between. Vapor production was already very good, so I can’t really tell if there were any improvements there. I also ran into no additional flooding or gurgling problems in this configuration."

Must have gotten a defective MT3, because mine was good for the first half-tank, then started flooding. So, I used a thicker juice, and everything tasted burnt. Went back to a thinner juice....still tasted burnt. I know everyone swears by their MT3s, but I've had nothing but problems. Maybe I jumped on the BCC bandwagon too quickly. But, other people have had success far too often for the technology to be completely faulty. Maybe I got a bad head....but, that still doesn't fix the annoyance I've had with cleaning my unit. Maybe I just do not like wasting money... With all the new products coming out (EVOD, nano, VapeOnly BCC), I think I'll wait for a better-designed product before I jump back onto the train.

Obviously, I am new to this forum & I am new to vaping. I've started out with a Premium E-cig starter with the long 5v battery . Half way through the cart, it tastes terrible! I'm also having a hard time getting enough vapor to satisfy the craving. Should I switch to a manual battery, or switch to a different brand all together? I like the convience of the carts, but I'm not against using the e-liquid either. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks! I picked up some juice & refilled the carts I already have. Worked perfectly. I've made my final decision on my first REAL setup....a eGo-C with a bunch of different tanks, carts & attys, so I can find out what I like best. Brian from http://theveteranvaper.com has been so very helpful with all my questions. I can't remember who recommended him, but thanks. All of you guys are so knowledgeable, such a valuable resource.

Oh, and. "I don't stink of cigarettes" and "I don't burn holes in my clothes". And "I don't have to smoke in the ice and snow and rain" and "I'm not a pariah anymore" and "I can smell things better now" and .....

I did it for the health benefits, the fact that I don't smell anymore and the bonus of sitting at my desk at work and taking a couple puffs without my boss who is two cubicles over not knowing. When I smoked she hated it and asked me to refrain during work hours.

I like the fact you can sneek a puff about anywhere and no one is the wiser.
