No I haven't yet but I've been really wanting to! I'm still so new to all of this that I didn't even realize that dripping would keep me from wasting cartos! It's also still so confusing to me. Could you please point me to what I would need/what you use for your 808s and eGos since that's what I have. I'd sure appreciate it!

I read about steeping when I first started vaping. I chose to ignore that, I was too impatient to try each new flavor. I got a few that were absolutely terrible, they had a chemical taste to them. I thought maybe there was something to that steeping thing and sure enough, they ended up being great within maybe a week. I've steeped several more since then. All but 2 have eventually turned into something better. My problem is, I can't tell if they're going to be good or not in the beginning and I end up ruining a cartomizer with the disgusting stuff - that never seems to change once in them.

I have COPD and just thought about tracking my heart rate and pulse ox for a while now that I've stopped smoking analogs. I know what my rates were before, I'm anxious to see what they are now. I started doing 5K walk/runs last year. I'm planning on 4 so far this year. I need to actually start training for them, I never did last year. I'm anxious to see how much better I can do this year. Thanks for the info on the lung sacs needed exercise to attain maximum capacity since they're now being purged, I didn't know that. My daughter, who was never a smoker or an exerciser for that matter, started running last year and lost 50+ lbs. Now she says she's obsessed with running. I hope to be like that some day soon!

And just to burst my bubble a bit...I just had a conversation with another co-worker that quit smoking in January. I thought it'd be somewhat of a "bonding experience" ha ha to tell him that I had quit too and hey look, this is what I do now... But no...I got the feeling from him that he didn't think I *really* quit smoking because I use e-cigarettes. Geez...

I hear ya. Even though I do have one 900mAh eGo type battery setup now, I do like the smaller, more cigarette size style batteries very much. I have several KR808D-1 batteries. That's what I started out with and I am comfortable with. It's especially nice now that I've found out I can get adapters so everything will work with everything else. She seemed serious. She said she'd been seeing the Blu brand disposables at the gas station and always thought of picking one of those up to try... I explained about getting a *real* setup for much better results and I think she understood. I've got another friend that has tried the gas station brand and after one said that "they don't work" for her. Argghh!

(I really do know how to spell "praises"...apparently the memo got lost between my brain and my fingers!) This afternoon, I had a meeting with a new co-worker to go over an explanation of what her work duties are going to be, etc. 30 minutes into it, she just happened to mention that she and her husband both smoke and need to quit but have tried many times and failed. What a perfect setup!! I grabbed my e-cig from the side of my desk and started telling her all about it. She was very interested, asked a lot of questions and was anxious to get home to tell her husband. I think what really sold her was when I showed her the 4 drawers of e-juices I have! I gave her a business card for a nearby e-cig store that I go to a lot. I think I'll find a way to bring it up to her again when she starts working here. Funny thing too, I knew she smoked the second she walked in, there might as well have been a cloud around her as strong as the smoke smell was. I just can not believe I used to smell like that!! The smell even lingered in the chair she sat it, I smelled it over an hour later!!

I have ECBlend's Cherry Swirl on its way to me, I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.

I will continue vaping because I still want the nicotine. I find I don't crave it as badly as I did when I smoked cigarettes - I don't have to vape the moment I get out of bed in the morning like I used to and I can go much longer between having it also. I also LOVE all the flavors that are available.

I was just looking at eGo cartos and mini novas!!! How funny! I've got a good start on the "ton of juice" thing...I've got 39 bottles in front of me and the empties from 7 I've already gone through!! Soooo many choices!! Glad to hear I'm not the only one that's found it frustrating at times though, thank you for that!

I will be *very* happy when the amount I've spent on e-cigs, etc. so far is more than what the little ticker at the bottom of my messages says I have saved in cigarettes!!

I did a lot of research too, but it seemed like the more I read, the more confused I got myself. I found conflicting information on several sites too, that's when I came here for help!

Well, my daughter ended up getting an eGo type 900mAh 808 threaded (red metallic) manual pass-through battery and an eGo type 808 threaded long wick clearomizer (clear) for me from my local store, Move2Vapor, this afternoon. So I'm better now, lol, and happily vaping M2V's Menthol #15 - 20mg. in it!

<whew> I thought for sure I was getting the hammer!! Thank you jeffb, ninjabat, SubCool and Viper Ron for all your help. I'm better now, I think, and I stayed away from the analogs!!

Welcome Noah! I'm pretty new to all of this too. I've been using a KR808D1 set up. I like keeping it simple but I'm looking into an eGo 900 mAh soon. I can't say I have a favorite juice yet. I'm still trying a lot of different flavors from a lot of different vendors. I switch flavors a couple times a day. Right now, a top contender for favorite would be Velvet Vapors' Velvet Vanilla.

The local company I get my supplies from just told my friend that the eGo 900mAh battery does take the KR808D1 cartos they also sell. He tried it and it does work. They said there is a slight difference in the widths when put together but there's something available that would cover that up if it's bothersome. So...if the eGo 900 mAh takes the KR808D1 cartos and everything eGo goes together, then everything I already have and everything I want to get should all work, right? I just confused everyone, I'm sure. I feel like I'm about to get the dreaded jeffb hammer....

Thank you Viper Ron! Maybe the eGo 900 mAh isn't a 510 then. Do you or anyone else know? Separate from that, are the different kind of eGo batts and cartos, etc. all compatible with each other?

I am so close to giving up this e-cigarette thing! It's too confusing and expensive. It was much easier to walk into a store and just buy a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and be on my way! <vent over - maybe> Is there a chart or something somewhere that would show me what cartomizers go with what batteries and things like that? Everything I have right now, except the GreenSmoke products, is KR808D1. I am interested in buying an eGo 900 mAh battery and pass-through. I have been led to believe that the eGo 900 mAh is a 510 connection and is compatible with the 808D1. Is that correct? Are all/most eGo batteries, cartomizers, drip tips, etc. compatible with each other? If not, what is compatible with the KR808D1, such as batteries, cartos, etc.

I'm very impressed with my first order from Velvet Vapors so far! I ordered online late on Sunday, March 3rd and received my order today, Thursday, March 7th. I ordered a 5 - 3mL sampler in Orange Creamsicle, Papaya, Root Beer, Sweet Tarts and Spiced Rum. I also ordered a 30mL of Velvet Vanilla. They also included two 3mL samples with my order, French Toast and Dulce de Leche. All are the 50/50 Velvet Blend in 18mg. I've only been able to try 3 of the flavors tonight. The Velvet Vanilla is highly recommended on their website, that's why I went with a 30mL bottle of it right off the bat. I'm so glad I did, it's excellent, exactly what I've been looking for in the other 4 vanillas I've ordered from other companies. This is definitely a keeper! It's a strong, heavy vanilla that's great alone. I'm sure it'll be great mixed with other flavors too. Sweet Tarts is great too. It's stronger than the other sweet tart flavor I've tried. Again, exactly what I was looking for. The Root Beer surprised me. I like root beer but I wasn't sure if it'd make a good vape or not, I guess because I didn't like the cola flavor I've tried. (Yeah, I know, that makes no sense to me either...) I was pleasantly surprised to find out it does make a good vape and I do like it! So all three of these are keepers and I will definitely order them again. I can't wait to get more cartos so I can try the rest of the flavors I got!

I'm glad this thread was brought back up, I wondered what everyone uses for their e-cigs. I started out with a very small ashtray. I've upgraded to a ceramic toothbrush holder. One side of the top has three holes in it, the other side of the top has one larger open area, which will work well for any larger than penstyle products I end up getting. Being ceramic, it's heavy enough that the weight of the e-cigs don't make it fall over and I don't knock it over.
