  1. This video might help a little http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN0NiK3iPWs&feature=player_embedded
  2. Bearguin explained it pretty well. Some people choose to use VG over PG because it doesn't have quite as much throat hit. PG in high strengths can really pack a punch, VG on the other hand is very smooth. VG has more vapor but less punch, PG has less vapor but more punch (although the less vapor isn't THAT noticeable) Some people also think they're allergic to PG, half the time it isn't the case but what you prefer is what's most important
  3. The eGo is 3.7v. Using a low resistance atomizer is the safer way of going "high voltage". The low resistance atomizer has, well, a lower resistance. This cuases the atomizer to heat up much much faster producing results very similar to 5 volts. It will take the life of your ego battery from 12 hours to about 6 hours. Either way 6 hours is still quite a long time.
  4. Sounds like LA is really cracking down. That is also where our shipments where taken recently.
  5. It may arrive today. Remeber there was no mail on monday due to the federal holiday so that set suppliers back a little (The post office is probably also playing catch up)
  6. It sounds like you have an honest shipping rep. Truth be told it's not going to get released. I wished I could give you some better information but once the FDA actually gets a hold of the shipment there is no way of getting it back. As of late they've been cracking down harder than usual, like the shipping person stated you will have to take a loss on this one. (We've lost thousands and thousands this year already)
  7. No not really. If the flavor is really strong it might leave a faint smell if the vapor is blown right into someone's face. But it does not linger like smoke does. You could vape in a room all day, leave and when someone goes into that room, they'll never know you where vaping.
  8. If the e Liquid is of good quality from a well known supplier it has a shelf life of about 2 years. Do not refrigerated your e liquid. Keep it room temperature, between 60 and 86 degrees F. It's also very important the liquid is kept out of direct sunlight.
  9. Hands down the 10ml bottle. Cartos, while they last a long time, will not last near as long as a 10ml bottle. A 10ml bottle can last as long as 5-6 days if your heavy vaping. 5 carts may last 2 days at best.
  10. Could you imagine if we are all this demanding when we smoked cigarettes? lol
  11. It's hit or miss but most orders arrive in Canada with minor issues.
  12. It is not in any of our liquids no.
  13. This is actually quite an ironic question as the Riva is a "knock off" version of the Joye eGo. The only "legit" Joye eGo's are the Tornado, Janty eGo and Joye Tech eGo. (All are created by Joye Tech)
  14. It's not something I've personally had a problem with but others have reported it. Most of us usually keep some kind of drink close by. (Cold Water is of course always good for you) It's also good practice (and often overlooked) to keep your mouth pieces clean. Wipe your electronic cigarette down with an alcohol wipe every night before storing it. Unlike cigarettes, ecigs parts are used over and over. Like anything, there is a chance for bacteria to build up. After all, everything you touch, will end up on your ecig.
  15. I was wondering when this would get brought up today. Diacetyl is a compound that gives butter its characteristic taste. Manufacturers of margarines or similar oil-based products typically add diacetyl to make the final product butter-flavored. The subject I believe was brought up in regards to DIY flavorings. This chemical is not found in all e liquids. But to be sure you should contact the seller first.
  16. Maybe I need to switch things up lol. In all honesty though it will happen at times when I'm doing something brand new for the first time. That's what makes it so interesting to me. For example I Had Daja Vu quite a bit while out in New York with Parker from Dietsmokes. That was the first time I had been in New York.
  17. Totally understand. If you get a flavor that doesn't taste good, no need to throw the atomizer away. Instead blow the atomizer out. You can blow the excess liquid onto a paper towel. It won't get ALL the taste out, but most of it. By the time you add a new flavor and vape it a few times the old flavor will be gone
  18. Cartomizers don't need to be direct dripped like an atomizer. They need only to be filled once, then they last about an hour or longer before they need to be filled again. Make sure when you first fill the cartomizer you're filling it all the way up. (A cartomizer can take quite a bit of liquid)
  19. I mean you could, but there would not be much point. The reason direct dripping started in the first place was because the cartridges that came standard with an atomizer just didn't work very well. So users starter removing the filler and dripping right on to the atomizers. (The liquid never expelled from the cartridge the way it was supposed to) Dripping ensured the atomizer always had liquid which equaled great throat hit and flavor. Cartomizers are designed much differently than a standard atomizer and cartridge. The coil is now PART of the cartridge. So while you could drip on a cartomizer it wouldn't make a difference. A cartomizer can be filled and it will give great vapor for about an hour or so before having to be filled again. In simpler terms it would be like adding milk to your glass while you drank out of it. You could, but it wouldn't make much sense.
  20. Is Daja Vu not the craziest feeling? Some people get it some people don't. My wife and friends know I have it almost weekly if not daily. I swear it's the strangest feeling. So, what are your thoughts on Daja Vu? A brain scramble? Seeing into the future? Seeing into the past? I love it but it really freaks me out sometimes. (I don't know about you, but my Daja Vu's are usually eerie more than good) I think what irritates me the most is that, bam it's there, clear as day, then poof gone and I don't really remember what it was about.
  21. I'm surprised the coil would turn black that quickly. I would suggest dripping some more liquid and just vape until the taste goes away to be honest. If that doesn't work you can always boil the atomizers for 10 minutes and let it dry over night. While removing the bridge is fine, I honestly don't mess with the atomizer. Just pop it on, drip and vape.
