Try going to this website here (Warning audio) https://notifyfox.com/offer-sign-up?gclid=CI3upNHO9NECFc-FfgodnkUJEg It will ask you if you want to receive notifications, click not now and refresh, generally speaking, the pop-up on most websites, will come again. (If you refresh )
-
So when you visit other websites that have a notification system built in and you click not now, it doesn't ask when you visit the site again?
-
oh I see what's going on here.... This isn't the forum, this is Firefox. So when Firefox asks you if you want to see notifications, rather than say "Yes or No" it says "yes or not now." Not now literally means "not at the moment", it will ask you again next time you arrive. Because, it still doesn't yet know if you want notifications. When you click "block" you're basically saying no. (They should just rename the answer because I can see why it would be confusing) By clicking "block" you've said no permanently to notifications. But outside of that, it won't affect the functionality of the forum itself. Hopefully that makes sense.

ok I'm about to apply a set of patches to the front end which we didn't have time for today. That might resolve at least any visual errors. The post ordeal is the server, which hopefully resolve tonight. If not, let me know and we'll delve in further and see what the deal is -

ah so the icon SHOULD show up in IE but doesn't. That's a bug. Probably easily updated. As for the forum loading the incorrect post, the are a few ways this can happen. (It's happened to me) 1. You switch between browsers. The forum gets confused 2. The most common, you view a thread via an email update, then a new post comes up and you click "unread" from the home page. Sometimes when this happens the forum wigs out a bit and pulls up the incorrect post. Another thing, you view the update from an email, then the notification blips up (because the emails usually go first) and you click that, then you'll load up on the last notification rather than the most recent reply. Another thing I should note, we did a large upgrade on the software yesterday and again this morning. When we do this, the entire forum as to re-cache everything. That process takes roughly 12 hours. During that time, you can sometimes get caught up in viewing things that are partially indexed and things that are not. So, if any of these weird bugs showed up as of yesterday, they'll probably start resolving themselves by either this evening or into the early hours at the latest. If it sticks around after that, it's likely a bug I need to patch. -
Do you have a cookie blocker/cleaner? The reason I ask is because if you clean your cookies out, the website can't remember your answer and will ask again. So I'm trying to figure out if you have a block/cleaner. If not, then I may need to reset the forums cookies. (Which will log everyone out. Hasn't been done in 4 years I think)

Got it We upgraded a lot of modules on the server to bump up security but not all of the plugins etc have caught up. Feel free to PM me (or post here) some screenshots and I'll see what I can't figure out. (And thanks for reporting by the way! Often times, I never know until someone says something) -
Can you tell me what browser you are using, if your using incognito and also if you often clear your cookies and/or use a cookie cleaner?

The FDA updates Compliance Policies for Local Vape Shops

This would be a great new topic as well to bring awareness to some of the members here on the forum -

That's great. Though I haven't attempted to apply for a CCW as of yet, I've heard around here it's almost next to impossible. I've got a few contacts in the lodge that mentioned they could push one through but given the ridiculous laws in California and the fact that some people hear panic at even the site of a butter knife, I've been hesitant. -

Genuinely curious, (totally derailing the topic here) how did you manage a CCW in this county? -
Hi Folks, The FDA has made some policies changes that affect local brick and mortar stores. Previously, retail associates were unable to assist customer in just about any way shape or form due to PTMA guidelines. Naturally, when a customer comes in with a problem and the associate is unable to help, it creates a dangerous situation. (For example, if a customer comes in stating their mod is warm, obviously a battery issue may need addressed asap) Previously, many vape retailers interpreted the regulations as being such that they could not perform services including changing coils, assembling a device and discussing how it functions, along with performing simple repairs and general troubleshooting. The FDA has made some updates - Without qualifying a vape shop as a tobacco manufacturer, staff can explain how to use a store product, employees can clean and perform maintenance on a purchased product, they can replace coils with new and identical ones, and they can assemble a product for the customer from the components packaged with the device. The FDA Is now also allows retail associates to assist customer in refilling their tanks so long as no modifications are made outside of what is recommended by the product's manufacture. VERY scary Wesite gives out YOUR information
Christopher replied to Edna's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Interesting. It's a brave new world that we're living in. I consider myself to be a fairly private person. I recall when I was doing videos with Sean back in the day, someone stopped by the house to say "hey." Keep in mind this was when my daughter was just born. (Why would anyone think this was ok?) Needless to say, I wasn't too friendly. He found my address online and thought he could come hang out lol. (Save it for the VT office) -
Welcome to the forum If you're new, I highly suggest using a drop in coil ever wrapping your own coils for your own safety. The melo 3 uses drop in coils and does not require any work on your part. (Simple screw in the coil and go)

Vaporizer Explodes During Vape Session
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
You bring up a great point and something that is so frustrating for vendors. If a customer comes into the store and mentions that their hardware is warm or acting up, we are literally not allowed to assist/asses/ help with the situation. Which is mind numbly stupid. One the vendors we work with close by is undergoing a lawsuit at the moment because a user stacked their batteries. Something you should never, ever do. Almost every vendor mentions this as well. And while this particular vendor is not at fault, he still has to fork out the cost of proving himself not liable. -
A proper understand of battery safety and coil wrapping (for those that do) is so vital. Failure to heed the numerous warnings issued by vendors can lead to accidents like this.

A the spade, talk about memories. It was a great device created with Vaprlife. Things didn't work out well but the workmanship was solid for it's time.

Is vapes.com a legit site to order from?

Always better to be safe than sorry when buying online, never hurts to check -
I'd be interested to see a source on the article. You have to keep in mind there are many brands of e liquids from many parts of the world. Most decent vendors will provide you with a certificate or analysis (these days) and MSDS when requested. That way you can set your mind at ease and decide for yourself if you're willing to purchase said product. Phillip Morris getting into Vaping Products
Christopher replied to Edna's topic in General Vape News
I suspect they're taking this route because they'd be able to file it as "substantial equivalent" when going through PMTA. But I'd say it's a far cry from an electronic cigarette.
