I'll be at the office most of the morning and afternoon working in the shipping room. Then evening time I'll be at home with the wife and baby. Don't think I'll be visiting the family this year. Need a little bit of R&R
-
I have chronic nose bleeds anyway. I always blow vapor through my nose and I haven't noticed the bleeds get any worse.

Thank You There is nothing that makes our day better than a great review

It could be "first time usage" battery life. Meaning whenever we first get a new product we use it more than normal out of excitement. But normally the eGo lasts about 10 hours when fully charged. The exception to this is when using LR atomizers. (LR atomizer cut the battery life in half)
-
Anytime That's correct those are used for direct dripping How long are the batteries on the eGo lasting? They should last about 10 hours or so. The cartomizer are sort of a learning curve. The draw shouldn't be tight at all. In fact it should be a bit lighter than an atomizer. Give it some time and you'll learn how to fill them correctly
-
Atomizers can usually be boiled and will be ok. Cartomizers however cannot. They are cheap, disposable and not really meant to be cleaned. It's not to say that you can't but you risk damaging them.
-
"low resistance battery" chicopee, that's the cutest thing I've heard so far. There are 2 popular types of atomizers. (Which I think you've confused for atomizers) Regular atomizer: These run at 2.5 ohms. (Ohms measure the heat inside of an atomizer. Also known as resistance) Low Resistance: These run at about 1.5 ohms. Twice as hot as the atomizer above. You'll notice a lot of strange terms on the forums. This is because rather than just vape the darn things, vapers are insistent on taking them apart.
-
I'll be honest the pipes that I tried where pretty much horrible. But if you had to choose one, the DSE 601 would probably be your best bet. They use a standard penstyle atomizer (easy to find replacements) aka the 801/302 atomizer. No many suppliers carry them these days but Jeff will take care of you.

ha ha this guy really...likes vaping http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBQnASwBGmg

While I've never personally ordered from them, I did see quite a few complaints about them on ECF: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reviews-suppliers/ Not trying to bash them just thought I'd mention it.
-
Well in that case it may just be the battery. Honestly if it won't charge there isn't to much you can do. Cleaning the contacts is always worth a shot but I wouldn't count on anything. I would suggest ditching it and then upgrading to a Joye eGo if your bank flow allows
-
hmmm hard to say but it could be a bad charger. Also if it turns orange I doubt it's a Joye Tech charger. They only show Green and Red. Where did you purchase your eGo from?

It's a Marlboro style flavor

and so the mail box sits along patiently waiting... -
Well quite a few of us just put our pre orders in for the ProVari. It isn't released and is on pre sale but it sure does look darn cool. I placed my ore order about a week ago. (No affiliation) http://www.provape.com/category-s/36.htm There is also the Maco which has become popular. A few of the members here also say they enjoy The Buzz.

Throw the left overs away and get back to vaping. We all fall sometimes. The forum is here to pick you up -
Just Had To Say....you've Done It Again

That deserves a +1 rep I think Glad we could all help -
My guess is the popularity off 510 atomizers. As supplier, 302 atomizers barley move. Why not use an adapter? (Nice to see you on the board by the way! )
-
Well I placed my Pre Order last night. I'm itching to try this bad boy. Couple more weeks and it should be here

What can I say I try As QT stated the battery life looks good. Here is a direct quote from Oliver (The Maker) I also attached a picture of the unit. ******* Great question. It’s got excellent battery life. Here are some estimates. While these will vary by user (some people will use it more, some less per hour and some take longer drags or shorter drags, etc... These are just estimates based on the mAh of the battery, element resistance, voltage to the element and efficiency of the converter. Once those 4 items are calculated we get a total run time in minutes (as if the button was held down constantly). We then calculate the constant run time and figure out about how many times a minute the average user will take a puff. There’s also some fluctuation in there because the battery will recover a little in-between puffs. Well just figure in the average user, unless all of you are heavy vaporers? :P The base ProVari can take a 18490 AW 1100 mAh cell. Just for a sample, let's say we are using a 3ohm element at 4.2 volts - This comes out to about 12.68 hours. 3ohms at 4.5volts = 11.84 hours 3ohms at 4.8volts = 11.10 hours 3 ohms at 5.2volts = 10.24 hours And if we crank it all the way up to 6.0volts (3 ohms) = 8.88 hours On the other side, if you turn it down to 3.3volts = 16.15 hours These will of course change depending on the resistance of the element. Lower resistance = less time. Higher resistance = more time. Just for comparison, let’s swap in the big daddy 18650 that you can also use with the extension cap. This AW cell is a 1600 mAh. 3ohm at 4.2 volts = 18.45 hours. 3ohms at 4.5volts = 17.22 hours 3ohms at 4.8volts = 16.15 hours 3 ohms at 5.2volts = 14.90 hours 3 ohms at 6.0volts = 12.92 hours And the 3.3volts on this one is 23.49 hours The efficiency of our converter is running 95%, so very little energy is lost. I know when most of you first get the device, your going to be on it constantly so maybe I need to redo the chart First week with the ProVari – (HEAVY use) Second week with the ProVari (HEAVY use) *******

I also share your concern about the battery life but in all honesty, personally, it's something I'd be willing to sacrifice. At the very least, I suppose this will step up the game for some of the mod creators. I'll be honest I'm not experienced enough with high drain batteries. It's time for me to jump on the learning bandwagon - What are everyones experiences so far? My logical guess is, (and correct me if I'm wrong) high drain batteries are created for devices that require high amounts of power correct? As soon as the unit arrives (Oliver says sometime in December) I'll be sure to post up some feedback. EDIT: By the way I just posted a message to Oliver on Facebook asking about the battery life. I suggested 5 volts as a starting point.
-
Well I just ordered one. Anything past 3 months on a mod is impressive for a warranty. At the end of the day the more electronics the shorter the warranty. For $150 bucks, I would have spent that in a month on cigs. If it lasts a year it's money well spent. I've seen the work that goes into making a mod, it's not easy, especially not what this guy has done. I'm not easily impressed but so far he's pretty much whipped his wang on the table and set the new standard. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint! I'll report back once my device arrives
