The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I honestly think it makes sense. After all I created this site (among others) that have grown all while I was paid quite well at my day job. Once I'm on the computer I can really let me talent flow without any politics or red tape. -
Gotta love that mornin coffee!! Welcome to the world of vaping

I Am New And Have A Question From The Seasoned Users
Christopher replied to Dartkitten's topic in New Vapers Forum
Hi welcome to the forum No the parts are not interchangeable. But you are correct the eGo as MUCH longer battery life. Most people get around 10-12 hours or so on a standard battery, even longer on a mega battery -
Originally e cigarettes where actually automatic. But the liquid would enter the battery and break the sensor. You can still buy auto e cigarette but they don't tend to last long. You'll have to replace the batteries quite often. The manual button is a pretty small inconvenience in the scheme of quite a revolutionary product. (no pun intended)

ha ha ha I had a feeling that's what you where going to say. On long trips it's my brother. Most of the time I just have to time things out. My wife doesn't vape and doesn't like to fill my ecig

I wish I was in Vegas. But maybe if I get some extra time this week I'll post up a video just for kicks

I started Vaping around the end of 2008. Pretty long time. Not at all. I did cave in once back in 2009 and ended up throwing the pack away. Haven't had a cigarette since. I smoked a pack a day. Sometimes more depending on the social interaction going on. I smoked for about 8-10 years. Not personally no. No chest congestion at all (I have asthma and have not had a problem since I started vaping. I don't even use an inhaler anymore) no coughing or sinus infection. These are all problems smokers usually have. Even if I did..smoking is a proven death. k= Was pretty healthy before I started vaping but my Asthma has went away. I also used to get a really heavy chest when I woke up in the morning. I assumed it was because the air filters in my house where dirty. Perhaps dust. Nope, it was smoking. About 1-2 weeks after I stopped smoking and moved to vaping the chest pains where gone. No wheezing while sleeping either. Don't be sorry! This why this forum is here. We're all here to help I would suggest speaking with your doctor and she what he/she has to say. But many doctors have been in favor of the e cigarette. (At least that's what many members have reported)

It depends on the Smoke Detector. It won't set of older models but it will set off newer models. Newer smoke detectors don't actually detect "Smoke" but rather a change in particles in the air. The smoker alarm system in my house is less than 6 months old. Blowing vapor into one sets them all off. I've also set off an alarm while at a hotel in vegas... I'll post if video if you guys really want

The PG and VG do tend to dry out your throat a nose a bit but not all that much. It's probably more the weather than anything else As for the cartomizers, this video will help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeaqRV4PmzA&feature=player_embedded

I travel quite a bit and I vape in hotels ALLLLL the time. So long as you stay away from smoke detectors (especially the newer ones as they will detect a particle change) You'll be just fine In fact just recently I flew to Texas and drove back to California on a business trip. My brother and I must have vaped in at least 4-5 different hotels. No issues Just turn on the TV kick back and relax. Enjoy the fact that you don't have to clean the room!

If it's been left in the car it's bad. Liquid has a shelf life of 2 years. It's very heat and light sensitive. It should be stored in a dark area around room temperature. (68-75F is best)

This leave you only with a Passthrough. No other ecig plugs into the wall really. Your choice would be eithe the eGo passthrough or the VP PT from vaprlife. Just remember the hotter it gets the more problems you'll run into. Again the VP PT might be a good idea as it runs at 5 volts. (Rather than the standard 3.7v ecig) That's pretty much any ecig with an atomizer. Just make sure it's a 510 fitting. (VP PT comes with a 510 fitting) When you find this, let me know. I'll take 500. Now your talking about something like Hookah. In which case...you may as well get a Hookah. eCig Hookahs do exist but they're basically just a standard Hookah with eGo's on the end. And they're expensive. Not worth it to be honest. From your post you're pretty much asking for an all in one transformer party ecig. But I honestly think the VT PT from Vaprlife is the closest thing you'll find for what you want. I would also suggest that you purchase quite a few atomizers if your going be sharing. After all you never know where somebody's mouth has been.

Awesome I wouldn't worry about it to much. Just be up front if they ask what it is

Thanks for the support! The Vapor Talk army is growing... Getting that new PT order ready for you BTW

New Utah Legislation
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
Well Jason I'm sure you'll be watching this close. If and when it hits the house feel free to post a list of emails (perhaps in a new topic) with contact information. We'll have to make sure we give them a piece of our minds. May also want to find out whos voting in favor to make sure you vote against them in the next election. -
It's not an RN4081 that's an older model. In all honesty the model you own really isn't that great. I would suggest upgrading to something that's really going to last you. IE Joye 510, Joye eGo etc these models have cartridges, cartomizers and liquid available readily.

New Utah Legislation
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
I feel for you man this is ridiculous. No merit or reason for this at all. -
From ECF It appears that HB 170 in Utah (the last third of the bill) at: H.B. 170 Bill Documents - 2011 General Session would not only ban sales of flavored smokeless tobacco and cigars, but also flavored e-cigarettes. HB 170 also appears to require face-to-face sales transactions for e-cigarettes. To lobby for this legislation, the Utah Dept. of Health has grossly exaggerated (i.e lied) about the health/safety risks and the marketing of flavored smokeless tobacco products in attempt to ban them (while keeping far more hazardous cigarettes legal) There are no safe tobacco products! | Street Smart Utah Last week, the health dept and the state poison control center held a press conference to scare the public about flavored smokeless tobacco products and to urge the legislature to ban them (and apparently flavored e-cigs). http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/home/51230518-76/adults-candy-center-cigarettes.html.csp Last year the UT legislature banned the sale of e-cigarettes to youth, after the original legislation (which I believe was sponsored by the same legislator who just introduced HB 170) that would have banned all e-cigarette sales was amended. It would be helpful if others would carefully review this legislation.

Delrin Drip Tips Vs. Pyrex Or Others
Christopher replied to DerBestrafen's topic in New Vapers Forum
It's preference. Some people prefer the longevity of the Metal other like the feel of the Delrin. Though both will last a long time. -
You're right there are 2 KR808 type cartomizers. I can't remember which has the male.
-
wow nice find Ripple, I'm willing to bet that's the model. In which case any KR808D cartomizers should work.
-
hmmm Doesn't look like I can identify the model. The problem is there are just so many random manufactures making their own versions these days Perhaps someone else on the forum will recognize the model.
