Has Anyone Tried The New E-Powered Ego?
Christopher replied to Beans's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Never used one but I believe it's made by Bauway. -
ha ha sorry about that. We had a number of emails that day It was indeed an april fools joke.

I do deeply apologize for the delay I've been in and out of meetings all day. You'll be the first person to ever report receiving a corroded item. We are more than happy to accept the items back and once they arrive will issue you a full refund including the cost of postage. Once the kit arrives we'll need to inspect the batteries to ensure they are ours (serial number under caps) and to ensure no other batteries on that lot have any issues. A refund will be issued within 24 hours of the items return to our office. I just responded to your email a couple of minutes ago and again we are more than happy to issue you a refund. I'm sorry you are not happy with our service or product. If there is anything else we can do to change your mind, don't hesitate to let us know.

Sub forums are paid on a monthly basis. If a supplier does not make payment it has assumed the sub forum is to be removed. An email is sent out to the supplier before the sub forum is removed. In this case there was no response. You can contact him directly here: http://www.smokeskins.com/

Well thank you for the chocolate lesson. You've been vaping how long and your in the mood to school me this week also? Boy you really love to push the envelope don't you. And yes, I meant Chocolate chip cookie. If you want to get technical, Chocolate chips are not always a substitute for melted baking chocolate. Chocolate chips are designed to retain their shape (for cookies naturally) when baking, they contain less cocoa butter than typical baking chocolate. So while yes, it is still chocolate, it's normally intended for cookies. Regardless it was a sarcastic comment made towards the FDA and their nanny like attitude. Your troll like attitude on this topic and various other topics is starting to irritate me. It's taken a lot of work over the years to keep this forum fun, informative and most of all friendly. You where banned from ECF and claimed they where Nazis, if you don't want to see me turn into a Nazi I'd suggest you think before posting your sarcastic unnecessary comments. And if you even think of hitting the negative button on this post like you love to do with other members (again trolling), I will, happily, ban you.

Thinking About Buying A Joye Stick
Christopher replied to Tagsanstuff's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Its a V3 Sent from my Galaxy Tab using Tapatalk -
I was under the impression that Pulse Technology helped prolong the life of a battery (longevity by the way it's charged) rather than extending the life of a single charge. IE battery lasts 6 months rather than 3 months etc

While large, the unit is pretty comfortable to use IMO. I've never really gotten tired of holding it over a long period of time. Brain is right though, once you up the voltage it's hard to go back. I'm still vaping at 4.1 - 4.2 which is great. I've had mine for a couple of months now and still have no complaints. I use it as my daily device.

It doesn't even phase me these days. I think for me, it's been so long I just don't think about it anymore. I have no lighters in my home, no ashtrays, no other smokers. It almost seems like a dream that I ever smoked at all. Add the fact that for me to start smoking, especially being the founder of this site, would be the ultimate fail. At lot of people here and around my town always watch to see if I'll ever start again. I will say though, that the first year I started vaping I relapsed a couple months in. Things where a bit rough and I just didn't want to deal with another stupid atomizer so I picked up a pack of cigarettes. They where nasty, but I'll admit, you can't fault how simple and quick they are to use. Since then though, I have not lit up another. It feels like freedom to know I'll never have to go back. I never thought the day would come that I could walk into a gas station and hardly notice the cigarettes at the back counter. I usually head straight for the chip isle.

The wall charger should charge faster than the USB port of your computer.

Thank You I'm sure you'll love them. Sweet Dawn is good right off the bat. Dulcis is an acquired taste.
-
ahh that's right. And to my knowledge Njoy uses Dekang.

Looks to me they charge 7 bucks for their liquid. That's not expensive... most people pay that per day for cigarettes.
-
No actually. Funny you mention that, they can't even get egg testing done correctly (this just in the last day) : http://www.foodsafetynews.com/2011/03/inspector-general-tells-how-government-does-not-work/
-
Yes and No. They tested two brands. One contained diethylene glycol one did not. The companies names where not released, the source of the e liquid was not release and the testing methods where not released.... Pretty shady if you ask me. They then sent this to the media and it was spun in the worst possible light. They also claimed suppliers sold child friendly flavors such as "chocolate chip." To this day, I've yet to see a chocolate chip e liquid. I sure wished they'd send us a sample to try. Sounds tasty.

There is only one supplier that has been removed from our forum due to domain squatting. (TVP)

Gateshead Doctor Calls For Research Into 'e-Cigarettes'
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Yea I'm guessing it's probably a scare read more than anything but I do know for a while there DIY'ers where using Oil Based flavorings in their liquid. Some still do. Again probably nothing but all the more reason to make sure your American Mix or DIY'ed liquid is PG or water based. (Lor Anns for example now has PG based flavoring) -
Joye Tech creates 1.5ohm atomizers for the eGo. The only side effect should be that battery life is cut in half. I have not had any reports of LR atomizers blowing eGos.

Some people have experienced dry throat when they vape. Other state they are allergic, while I'm not going to argue it usually the response I here is either A. It made me break out (which is probably bodies reaction to you no longer smoking B. Harsh throat hit, which is normal so they switch to PG instead (which is much smoother) Again though this product is still new (it's only been around about 5 years) so there are no long term studies. There however long term studies on tobacco, and we all know the result.

@DerStadSchutz Suppliers are not selling high just because they love money. (Mall stands the exception) If there was that much profit I'd be living in a huge house with 7 cars in the drive way. I can tell you, that's not the case. Some suppliers order "stock" flavored e liquid, some add their own flavors and others order the mixes to their specifications. You also have to keep in mind that suppliers need to add in the cost of liquid seizures. When 2,000 bottles of e liquid are seized and destroyed by the FDA and refund check isn't sent in the mail. It's gone along with any potential profit. Some suppliers also order by the gallon and then split up the liquid when it arrives in the states. This way is much cheaper but we choose not to go that route as we don't have a clean room. Instead we have our labels, bottles and liquid mixed at the factory. The more you have done by someone else, the more it costs. I would also like to remind you that that extra costs goes into paying for the servers that run this site. We also run out of a legitimate office building rather than our basement. Overhead costs and warranty claims add up. There are a lot of good suppliers out there. I can assure you the majority of them are good people and are not out to rip you off but rather to sell a quality product. @mcquinn you just about nailed it on the head

While I can't say first hand because I've never tried them, Leaford tends to be on the up and up.

So long as your not using it, the voltage will not drop. So leaving it in over night is fine. Once the battery is charged it will shut off an not recharge. It doesn't start charging again until you use it and the voltage drops.
-
No not at all Though, it will start to charge once the voltage drops again. It's probably a good idea to unplug it after the light has gone out but it's not necessary
