  1. eGo = LR atomizer. The reason the model you have now is loosing throat hit quickly is because of the battery life. Though the battery may not die right away, it will still start to drop off. The eGo has about 12 hours of battery life. Slap an LR atomizer on their and you'll have an all day strong hit. Keep in mind that LR atomizer will drain the battery faster but you're still looking at about 6 hours of battery life. (None stop vaping)
  2. You can use regular cartomizers no problem, it's just the LR cartomizers. They use twice the power. A 510 battery is quite small and you risk killing the battery. No to mention the battery life is cut in half.
  3. As far I know there are no coupons that have ever been created for the Pro Vari. The only exception is for current owners. If you purchase a second Pro Vari, I believe they give you 10% off.
  4. Keeping it in the fridge should be fine. But room temperature around 72 degrees or so is the most ideal. It's also important to keep e liquid away from sun light.
  5. Can't go wrong with the eGo And because it still uses the 510 fitting, you'll be able to use your current atomizers on the new eGo.
  6. All 510 soft top cartomizer should work on an eGo... 510 cartomizers are all male. The eGo should be female.
  7. He is turning out to be the man of so few words lol
  8. hmmm yea I would check it anyway. But honestly if it was the center pole the unit would normally still light up. Basically the center pole is the positive current and the outside (everything else) is the ground. When that piece is pushed to far down, it hits the outer rim. This of course creates a small short and the unit shuts down. As for the support, July 9th is a long time. It shouldn't take that long to answer you. Have you checked your spam folders? You should! If just for the fact that we're all awesome (and we never sleep)
  9. I would give them a few days to respond. Especially if you sent the emails over the weekend. I believe, like many suppliers, they are closed over the weekend. I would not take the unit apart as that would most likely end your warranty. However you may want to check the center pole. Look at the top of the unit. Now look where the atomizer screws in. There is a tiny circle with a white band underneath. (It may be black now I'm not sure) That is the center pole. Now I'm not sure about the variable voltage but the older units used to have a tiny little hole on the side where the atomizer screw into. Take a paper clip and raise that center circle through that hole. That may solve the problem. If the unit turns on (IE the display or lights are working) there is a very good chance it's just the center pole. This happens when you screw the atomizer on to tight or take it on and off often.
  10. Very much agreed. At that age you just don't care.
  11. It's tough to take them apart without damaging them. As was already said they are pressed. However, if you get some vice grips and wrap them with some electrical tape, you should be able to "unscrew" the bottom of the unit. Top removes the same way. It will take quite a bit of force to remove the top portion. (where the silver meets the black)
  12. How long have you had the battery for? I'm wondering if there is a short. The bottom of the battery should not move at all. Will the battery work correctly if it's not plugged in?
  13. Hey Tek, you're welcome to pop in and hang out anytime
  14. True. But just remember, you don't want to use low resistance atomizers on high voltage devices. It's dangerous. You use one or the other.
  15. Welcome to the forum. Along with Brian I'd suggest taking a look at that video. It's a bit out of date and some old devices are used, but the concept is the same.
  16. Meh I used to love Starbucks. I still purchase their coffee from time to time but they've really gone down hill over the years. Their standard house coffee tastes like it's been sitting in a pot all day. No better than old burnt coffee at a shell station. Call me crazy, but I think 7-11 has better coffee these days than Starbucks.
  17. hu I'm going to send these videos over to the factory and ask why on earth our wholesale costs are so high if the Riva is pretty much the same thing... The only thing I wonder is whether or not the batteries are the same. What I mean by this is that China is known for printing just about anything on their batteries. I remember we ordered some Li Po batteries for the mods we used to sell. When they arrived, after some testing, it turned out they where just standard Li Ion batteries that where marked incorrectly in an effort to charge more money. I'm wondering if the company that makes Riva marks the batteries Joye Tech as a placement for the model they are trying to imitate. I doubt it. But if this video is indeed correct, it means Joye Tech's got some answering to do. Perhaps Joye Tech sells the batteries out wholesale to other companies. Either way though, I have heard from people in my local area that they've had better luck with Joye Tech than their Riva counterparts. Why this is after seeing this video, I'm not sure.
  18. Nice Starbucks tends to be pretty lax when it comes to new trends. I wonder if the no vape rule stated above was perhaps a franchise owner worried about the appearance of his or her store.
  19. I do plan to try and make it out for Vape Fest. We have another baby on the way so I'm not 100% sure I can make it out. It's about 4 hours for me so if anything I'd like to be there for at least one day
  20. BE112 atomizers aren't bad. Joye 302's are great but I have found that they tend to leak quite a bit. This doesn't seem to happen as much with the BE's.
