Just an FYI Box Elder announced a recall on their liquid today. I think that was the right and responsible thing to do.

I agree the 306 does put out some serious heat for it's size. Though, I suppose this can be a good thing on a fairly small battery.

No doubt. If the industry was under regulation, he'd have been shutdown for inspection along with those hefty fines. It's tough to promote self regulation with situations like this. I'm not trying to put down DIY but honestly it's just dangerous. On the flip side I'm glad to see Nicotine testing kits made available to consumers. It really puts the checks and balances back in place. I'm hoping the DIY'ers make this a part of their mixing kits.

306's have a raised bridge, they really can't hold more than say a drip or two max. Even that's pushing it.

You would think so but apparently not. You know I was thinking about something in the car today while driving home. The excuse was that the bottles where mis labeled. Not a good excuse but fine, fair enough. But here is what I was thinking...One of the 100mg bottles actually had 272mg of nicotine. So, one would assume if it was labeled incorrectly the bottle should have had a 272mg label correct? Here's the thing...they don't sell 272mg on their site. Which means they probably don't have a 272mg label. How can you mislabel a bottle of 272mg when you don't actually sell that strength. Now if perhaps they get 300mg wholesale and cut it down, that means someone is doing a really crappy job. IE They have no idea what they're doing. Batch testing should be done and obviously it's not. I'm not trying to smear his company but I can't help but think just how bad this could have been. It's worrying for the consumer. DIY won't be around very long at this rate.

What Is The Best 510 Drip Tip?
Christopher replied to CASEACE79's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I really like the ming tip. I use a plastic version that's similar. It's very comfortable on the mouth. (sex joke anyone?) I've never seen those before. Definitely unique. -
I was thinking the same thing while listening to the interview. Being a CEO has nothing to do with the quality of your products or what went wrong. What's more important is how you plan to prevent this for happening or better yet how this happened in the first place. Are there MSDS sheets in the office, are there written SOP's in place for employees. You can't really fault them if they're not aware of the procedures. Employees should have hands on training followed by readily available documentation should they need a refresh. Employees should be reviewed and monitored closely especially when chemicals that are being ingested into someones lungs are involved. When you mess up a bad batch of cookies at your local bakery, you get bad tasting cookies. When you mess up a batch of e liquid, especially when the chemical mixture is as high as double the base labeled dosage - Someone gets sick. Very sick. At the very least I hope other DIY and American e Liquid suppliers learn from this. I wouldn't want to see a habit made out of this.

Interesting. I'd hate to be in Gourmet Vapers shoes, he seems like a good guy, but ultimately this is a serious screw up. Self regulation is what many asked for and it's what's going to get this whole damn thing shut down. The more time goes on the more forced regulation sounds like a good idea. 256mg mislabeled? Not good. Not good at all. If that was in say a 30ml bottle that's 7680mg of nicotine total! That amount of liquid could kill a grown adult. Consumers/DIY'ers rely on the delicate trust of a supplier. What if it had been 300mg, 400mg? From the video it appears a few people ended up in the hospital. I don't know who labeled the bottles, but you can bet I'd be kicking someones *** up and down the hallway.

This Is The Crappy E Cig I 1St Bought!
Christopher replied to Viper Ron's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
I don't think there is any cartomizer that will fit that model. I can't tell without looking at the atomizer but appears to be an M 401 or Joye 306 model. In which case, as far as I know, there is no available cartomizer. -
My guess is, battery on the left, power button on the top left and a juice bottle inserted where the hole is on the right. Push the juice bottle to fill atomizer.

Cartomizer Became Harder To Pull On?
Christopher replied to bananabic's topic in General Vaping Discussion
That's actually a great tip. It never crossed my mind to clean out the center area with a paper clip. +1 -
Vapor Talk orders almost always ship within 24 hours. Delivery time is about 2 days give or take. The exception is holidays. (Friday was a holiday) So if you ordered and it was after the cut off time, your mail piece wasn't picked up until the postal service was running again. That is however an exception, in general most orders are shipping on Friday

Will All Of The Various Ego Batts Fit On A Std 510 Charger?
Christopher replied to Gamera's topic in New Vapers Forum
As Viper Ron said you CAN charge the battery on a 510 charger but it will take a very long time. You need to just the eGo rapid charger. Keep in mind you don't want to charge your 510 batteries on the rapid charger it will shorten the battery life. And the Vapor Talk store ships everything out of California -
We used to have a post requirement that has since been removed. If you are unable to post for any reason let me know and I'll take a look at your account.

ooooOOoo Where did you get that case?

Thanks Dayvape

@baberim just so you know why one 10440 battery is blue and the other is gray... The gray batteries are protected and the blue versions are not. (Stops the battery from exploding under stress) The protection set in place makes the battery a bit longer

Thank you

Congrats I do not vape around my children. If I vape in the house I usually do it right by the window. (One of my couches is right by the window, I'll blow the vaper out) When I'm in the car I'll vape only if I really have to and at that I'll hold the vaper in and "ghost vape" if needed. But overall, I try as much as possible not to vape around my kids just the same as I wouldn't smoke around them

I hope she vapes a lot... (lol ok I'll stop now)
