You can use Dual Coils on the Pro Vari but, it depends on what ohm. You CAN use an LR atomizer on a provari higher than 3.8 but your not really supposed to. What people don't understand is that you shouldn't on ANY device. With that said, what companies won't tell you and what I didn't tell you....is that with the battery protection, the vent holes and a number of other safety features added to devices these days, you'll probably be fine. Also the batteries used on the Pro Vari are different than some of the earlier mods. If it was to ever explode it'd likely just vent all over the place. Maybe burn your hand a bit, but I doubt it. I've run some wacky setups on my Pro Vari and if I get a little to crazy, it'll shut off. Which...means it's working like it should

There are a ton of fantastic mods on the market these days. To many to keep up with. For me personally it's the Pro Vari. While quite pricey, it's clean, sleek, adjustable with quite a few other nice feature to boot. It's my primary device especially at home. I've tried quite a few mods and I constantly come back to my Pro Vari.

Most throat hit (harshness) is caused by the nicotine itself. The higher the nicotine level the more throat hit you'll get. PG tends to give a harsher hit than VG however. If you're looking for something that feels a bit more like a Black and Mild for example, VG is usually the way to go.

I agree that e cigarettes will not go away. Hardware CAN be regulated as the FDA classifies it as a "drug delivery product". What it really boils down to is demand. If the FDA regulates it to the point that new consumers disappear the market will shrink. There are only so many current vapers to go around. So if the money isn't there, the suppliers will dwindle. You'll still most likely be able to order from China but again that depends on what effect the American market has on them. If it causes a large enough drop in cash flow, factories will move to other things. It's not that you WONT be able to get e cigarettes or parts, it's just that the choices and convenience will be much less. Luckily modders will probably step in and you'll have SOMETHING. Just not in the way we see today. You also have to figure, if they create some type of an import law or fine, let's say $50k. The chances of you getting caught with a few batteries is slim. But, how many are willing to take that risk. Especially after getting a warning letter in the mail. Interesting times no doubt. I do have some speculations as to what will actually happen, but no point in giving new suppliers a head start

It's funny because PG is in MIO flavoring, "Dibs" ice cream and a handful over there products we use and consume daily. Heck, it's even in my Axe hair gel. I wonder just how much PG we've taken in over the years before e cigarettes ever came along.

I tend to notice the batteries take a bit more beating in cold wether. While I was out in Colorado visiting Bird I noticed my batteries didn't last quite as long. Though nothing dramatic. I assume, like as been mentioned above, it's silmiar to a car battery. You need more amp to crank the motor in the cold. I'm not sure why honestly, but maybe it's related.
