  1. Just wanted to follow up on this - So it appears there is a glitch between the theme we use and the latest version of our forum software. Tom deals with the permission settings the template handles and he's working on it My guess is we'll have a fix once it passes testing by weeks end. I'll of course report back again here once the fix has been applied.
  2. Again thanks to those taking the time to fill out the survey the feedback is great. One thing that seems to be pretty recurring is the product descriptions. This been bumped to a higher priority We'll see if we can't get all of our products updated to include more information, including more detailed technical information by weeks end.
  3. You guys are awesome thank you!
  4. Hi Folks, I know, surveys are a real pain in the backside. I'd love for our members and customers to take 5 minutes (it's short!) to provide some feedback about the Vapor Talk Store. We personally read every response. Your feedback whether good or bad really helps to create a better Vapor Talk for everyone. If you've had login issues, checkout issues, etc we'd love to hear about it. We'll do our best to make requested changes as quickly as possible. (And if you've been around Vapor Talk for a while you know we generally work quickly!) Survey Link is here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/vaportalkstore Thanks so much for your time
  5. ok so I managed to figure out what the issue is but I'm on the road heading towards AZ. Once I'm back early next week I'll apply the patch to fix this issue
  6. I just did an update on the forum, can everyone confirm this is still happening?
  7. Good Morning Folks, We’ll be performing some upgrades on the forum this morning that will address a number of reported issues. These issues include: Facebook Profile pictures not loading for forum accounts using social login methods Internet Explorer 11 copy and paste issues Incoming Emails not working correctly Terms of Use links on the registration page fixed Various security updates Updates to our Social Login system Updates to our Single Sign On Portal These updates will take place between 6am and 7:30am PST. The forum may become unavailable for a short period of time. As always if you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
  8. Hi Folks, I'd like to reach out and request a favor from everyone. If you have a yelp account and have had a good experience with us it would be awesome if you would take a moment to leave a review on Yelp. Our only positive review was removed by Yelp because, well, that's just how Yelp does things. We've been around for 5 years and have helped thousands of people, if just a few of you could leave a couple of reviews, it would mean a great deal to us Here is our Yelp page: http://www.yelp.com/biz/vapor-talk-highland-park As always, thanks guys EDIT: By the way I just noticed a ridiculous quote the marketing team has seemed to indicate came from me. I would never say "Let's make some clouds" lol Just for the record.
  9. Glad to hear it I still have some more updated to do over the next couple days which will hopefully improve the front end speed a bit too
  10. When you say added to spell check I assume you mean your browser? The forum itself doesn't have a spell check so this isn't something we could easily add. (Though you can always right click and add t your dictionary)
  11. You still using the latest version of FF?
  12. I'm sure we'll get it squared away. I suspect it has something to do with some of our JS scripts but I'm still looking into it for you (I might connect to your computer next week and take a closer look)
  13. I suppose it would help if the topic wasn't locked You may start a new topic in this sub forum or post here.
  14. Hi Folks, I've created this area to get feedback directly from you. You are welcome to leave feedback about any aspect of Vapor Talk from the store to the forum, from function to design. We'll take all of your comments into consideration when improving and growing Vapor Talk. We work behind the scenes every day adding new features, improving various features but often it's difficult for us to see things from an outside perspective, so we really greatly value any feedback provided here. There is no post requirements so new members can quickly sign up and post feedback without restriction. I look forward to hearing everyones comments
  15. Glad everything was all sorted out! Sorry I wasn't able to get on here sooner I was out in a meeting this morning and didn't get the message from Tam right away
  16. Sounds like someone has an opportunity to make some money here
  17. Now you know
  18. I believe it is and android tablet just with a different gui on top
  19. We're actually carrying these in the store now and I've been using them for the last week/ week and a half and I haven't had a single issue with burnt tasting liquid. Whenever I fill my tanks and change the coil for the first time I generally leave the e-cigarette upright for about 10 minutes to ensure the new coil takes in some liquid. I prefer them to the cotton wicks personally.
  20. This might actually have been a fault on our side. I updated TapaTalk a month or two back but admittedly didn't read import the XML hook that is provided with it. (whoops) The devs at Tapa conacted me to let me know about the issues, I reuploaded the necessary files and installed the corresponding hooks. Basically, it should, in theory work now lol (You might want to give it another go and see how things are working)
  21. Yes and No. Depends who's running the system and I find if the first statement of Linux is followed by because it's so secure, usually means that persons system, isn't that secure. Someone said it pretty well once that it's like comparing air travel to car travel. Planes have a better safety rating in part because they're operated by professionals vs your avg person. Cars on the other hand are operated by people with widely varied levels of skill and experience. Linux in general has been successful as a server OS (what we use to run Vapor Talk ) so those who run it tend to be more tech savvy. Linux has a huge dedicated user base of experienced people and because it's open source, the bugs can usually be fixed quickly but that's not to say Windows isn't secure, it's very secure and a fantastic platform when set up and used correctly. I guarantee you if your avg person ran and installed Linux on a spare box in there home, at least while learning, someone on my dev team would find a way in just as easily as they would on a windows box.
  22. Welcome aboard
  23. Good question! It does not affect the color of your teeth at all. In fact, I had fairly white teeth when I smoked (I used to whiten them often) however after I stopped smoking and starter using e cigarettes my teeth become noticeably whiter. Even now I don't have to do much to keep them white. (I avoid soda which helps) One easy way to test, if you're smoker, is to take a drag from your cigarette and blow it through a napkin, you'll see a nice disgusting yellow stain left over. Now do this with an entire cigarette and see how much is left. After that, do the same with an e-cigarette, guess what? No stain left behind
