Hey Guys, Sorry for the delay on this. Colors are specifically chosen using Vapor Talk's internal brand guide. Besides, I think Purple looks cute on your Walt I see what's going on here, it's the mobile version of the website. I should have this fixed roughly within the next 10-15 mins. Thanks for bring it up!

That doesn't sound right. Can you send me a screenshot so I can? Sounds like something needs to be adjusted.

I'll be glad when eclipse is over
Christopher replied to FXRich's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Sounds like a nightmare. I've been hearing about it, but haven't paid much attention. I don't believe it's visible to us down in Southern Cali. -
It is not normal for liquid to come out of your tank. There are a number of reasons that could be causing this but the model you have and the tank would help. As for the dry throat, PG can dry out your mouth, simply keeping fluids nearby to drink and you should be able to adjust to this easily. It's a common complaint. The burning in the lungs however is not normal, make sure you're not letting your coil burn. (This happens when you run out of liquid or run the coil too hot).

We don't currently. But I'll look into it for future stock! Sent using the Vapor Talk App • May we meet upon the level & part upon the square.

Smok baby beast coil setting?
Christopher replied to bklynt's topic in Tanks, Clearomizers & Drop in Coils
The coils are often not exactly as stated on the box (though they are usually very close). The device is showing you what voltage you are currently using, I suspect. Switch it to wattage mode instead and then you can set how you'd like. With that said though, if it's work now and your happy with it, there is no "wrong" setting per say. Go to high and you'll pop the coil, go to low and it just won't work. -
Can't say I've ever heard of them personally. Looks like they're a newer company, been around maybe a year or so. Can't hurt to give them a try I suppose.

Clear juices a little more harsh?
Christopher replied to glamourgirlglock's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
Two things usually determine how much throat hit an eliquid will have, nicotine and PG ratio. If you have clear e liquids that seem to provide more throat hit than some of your other e liquids, it's likely that they have a higher PG than VG ratio. -
Eh I found even the step from 3mg to 1.5 was a bit of a struggle. Though nothing near compared to dropping smoking. Sent using the Vapor Talk App • May we meet upon the level & part upon the square.

Yea I figured that was the case. I had to read it twice and thought, nah, Tam doesn't seem that high on the forum lol

This is true, though I'm probably on borrowed time. This is one I'd like to check off the list.

When I first started vaping I used to vape 24mg. (This was before PV's became more efficient). Today the wifey mixed me up some 1.5mg and the next step will be 0mg. Figured I'd pat myself on the back. I mean it's been 8 years but better late than never right?

Man, I'm so petty that last time I was at the doctors I noticed the chart on the wall that helps you figure out if you are overweight. I'd gone from 220 to 211 and I just barely made it to "overweight" from obese. I actually made them update it on their computer so my health portal's weight portion was now "overweight" lol My doctor was like "really..." Obese just sounds so horrible.

Generally speaking, the device doesn't matter as much as the wattage does and the type of coil you using. A basic start is to put the device into a low wattage setting, vape and then take it up from there until you find the "sweet" spot that works for you. What liquid you are using will also have an effect on flavor. (higher VG blends can take higher heat levels while PG cannot)

Well, you have gotten a little more huggable lol Sent using the Vapor Talk App • May we meet upon the level & part upon the square.

We were discussing in another topic about sleeping. I recall when I used to smoke how bad my snoring was, apparently. I'm told that these days, I still snore but to a far less extent than I used to. Probably about 90% better. That got me wondering how many of you sleep better since switching over to vaping. I should note that I used to primarily be a PG user but switched to VG end of last year. My wife says I snore a little more since moving to VG but that could be chalked up to long work hours. So do you sleep better now that you vape?

Pins and needles wakes me in the night
Christopher replied to tune29's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
That had crossed my mind as well. I sometimes wake up with pins and needles in my arms but it's almost always attributed to sleeping on my arm. The proof is usually the giant mark left on my face lol And a good point about the dreams, I recall when I first stopped smoking I slept much heavier than previously. Many of us back then used to think the e liquid was causing dreams. What it's probably more likely is that our breathing was improving and we might finally have been getting better sleep and thus hitting a proper rem cycle. (I used to snore pretty bad too which has since become less of an issue these days). I agree though, probably a long shot but at least worth mentioning. -

Man just realized you're all the way in the UK. It's probably not worth the import tax to send samples over there lol (By the way shout out to a fellow brit) -

Though VG is caloric, I don't believe it's metabolized. Though, I do recall reading somewhere it had some minor effect on blood sugar. But it probably wouldn't hurt to try a high PG e liquid and see what happens. Finding higher PG blends these days can be tricky as almost every major manufacturer uses a high VG mix. But, I'd be happy to send out a sample pack of Vapor Talk's classic line. It's 80 PG. (It needs to be vaped at a lower wattage as it's not meant for high wattage devices). Might be worth a shot. Though, it goes without saying, you should talk to your doctor etc.
